Life is short. Make each hair flip fabulous.

You're magic. Don't ever apologize for the fire in you.

And in the middle of my chaos, there was you.

'Will you stop smiling!' Gavin snapped.

'No. I'm enjoying this. Don't ruin it for me.' I beamed.

'You're enjoying the fact that I am feeling very uncomfortable right now?' He asked skeptically.

'Yup. Shoulda brought an camera so I can revel in this moment for years to come.' I smirked.

'I hate you.' He grumbled.

'I'd be shocked if you didn't.' I replied.

'I hate you.'

'I'm glad.'

'You're evil. You'll spend an eternity in hell.' He declared.

'I'll introduce you to your ancestor when we meet up in hell.' I smiled.

I came up with a comeback! A good one!

'How long did it take you to think of that one?' He asked with an unimpressed look.

'Five years, four months and eighteen days.' I am getting better at this whole comeback thing.

He rolled his eyes.

'Now stop stalling and go do it.' I ordered. He glanced at the librarian and then back to me.

'Can't I do something else instead?' He pleaded.

'Nope. You're lucky I'm even starting you off small. I could've made you volunteer at an orphanage instead. Or forced you to be nice to the kids who go to school here. Or forced you to shave your hair and donate it to hairless kids or cancer patients. Hey I actually like that one. Oh or maybe I...'

'I get it!' He interrupted. 'You could've made this a lot worse.'

'Exactly.' I smiled. 'I could. So don't make me regret it. I can still change my mind.'

'Fine. I get it. I'm going.' He said on a deep breath.

'Move it Peter Pan.' I urged.

He straightened his shirt before walking up to the sign-up desk. The surprised looks on the faces of the girls manning the volunteer desk really made me wish I had a camera. It was one of those once in a lifetime moments.

I couldn't stop laughing. Gavin looked so uncomfortable, I feared he might have developed a sudden case of explosive diarrhea. Yeah. It was that bad.

I'm on cloud nine right now people.

'Hey.' His voice came out strangled and embarrassed.

Otherwise known as music to my ears. The two girl scouts gawked at him.

'Well, do go on.' I urged. He shot me a dark look. I beamed.

'Can I sign up?' He choked out.

'What?' One of the girls asked, finally remembering how to talk.

'Sign up. Can I do that?' He snapped but I could tell he was beyond embarrassed.

Yes!, I smiled.

'Don't yell at them or they might not let you sign up for goody two shoes volunteer work.' I taunted.

'Shut up.' He growled lowly so only I could hear him.

'Yes! Of course! Anyone is allowed to sign up.' The first one said again.

'But you realize this is the volunteer table. For volunteers to sign up to help at the library.' The second one finally spoke up, stressing the last word.

'Yes. I can read now can I sign up?'

'Yes. Yeah. Totally.' The first one replied with a wide eyed look. In response the other one shrugged.

After he signed up and walked away, the two girls immediately started gossiping about him.

'What do you think possessed him?' Girl number two asked.

'Maybe he's having a midlife crisis and decided to be good. Or maybe he just felt like doing something nice for once.' Girl number one answered.

'No. I don't believe it. He's not thirty and he's Gavin Connor. He doesn't do nice. Maybe he hit his head or something. Or he's possessed. Those are the only two viable options.' Girl number two declared.

I really like her.

'Actually, it's a two hundred year old ghost with amazing blackmailing skills.' I smiled before going after Gavin.

Gotta make sure he keeps up the good work.

'Why is doing good deeds the only way to break your curse? It's really stupid.' Gavin said when I caught up with him.

'Well, the original curse that was put on your ancestor and I could only be broken by doing the one good thing that we hated the most. And for Marge, that was being good in general. Being kind and nice. She hated it with a fierce passion. And when she transferred her curse to me, well... You know the rest. That's why I have to get you to do all the good deeds. Spells recognize the blood. And you're her descendant so you have her blood.' I shrugged.

'Okay but what about your own curse?'

'What about it?' I asked.

'What was meant to break your own curse?' He asked. His eyes met mine, imploring me to answer the question.

A heartbeat later I disappeared.

'And now she finally leaves me alone.' He muttered.

Author's Note:

I am currently the only one in my dorm room right now and school hasn't started yet. So I'm bored with lots of time on my hands so I wrote another chapter! I'm awesome. I know but you guys don't have to keep telling me. Actually, keep saying it. I love hearing it. Just kidding!

I'm craving junk food but a friend busted me for eating too much of them so I'm just staring at a wall hoping it would magically take my cravings away. It's affecting my intellectuality. That's why my author's note is all over the place.

Also, I have been labelled the skinniest person on my floor. And I didn't even know. It's so annoying. I'm suddenly the go-to-girl for skinny comparisons -_-

Okay, I'm done ranting now. I hope you guys like the chapter. :)

Also I have a big surprise!

I'm doing a chapter giveaway! You guys can tell me any fun good deeds you can dream up for Gavin to do. I'll go through them and your ideas might make the book. The first idea is going to be incorporated in a chapter which will be dedicated to the reader who suggested the idea. Also a few other lucky and amazing ideas will be incorporated into chapters as well! What do you guys think?!

Let me know your ideas and you just might inspire a chapter! You can suggest as many ideas as you want!

Don't forget to write down your ideas through the comments! I can't wait to read them all. ;)
