The green beast flew back in an instant and Hungary could not believe her eyes. She was too shocked to say anything. Usually battles didn't scare her, but this one was starting too. Romania looked back at her and yelled, "Get back Eliza!" before turning back towards the creature with a grin. It was like he had seen him before, almost as if he was playing with an old friend.
Elizaveta did not wast any time and did as she was practically oredered to do. When it came to magic she was quite clueless and intended to follow the 'expert' as he earlier called himself.
"*Hyacintho clypeus!" Vladimir commanded and immediately after a blue glow surrounded him and Eliza. She gazed at the blue glow and reached out to touch it. He gave her a scolding glare and commanded, "*Nu atingeți asta! No! Don't touch that!"
She pulled her hand away quickly and intensely studied the blue glow with her eyes. Romania rubbed his temples with his hands and let out a long sigh. "What happens if I touch it?" She asked him curiously.
He picked up a twig off the ground and threw it at the glow. It caught on fire slowly then quickly erupted into violent flames as it hit the ground. "It's a simple forcefield spell so it won't last very long..." He said matter of factly. "*Ignis recedemus!" He commanded once more and the fire stopped and just like that it was gone, leaving but a charred twig behind.
"Oh. But what about that thing?" She asked, pointing towards the green orc. She quickly studied his features, they weren't very pretty. Coming out of his mouth were three rows of razor sharp teeth; each much sharper and lager than the last. His eyes were narrowed into slits but she could still make out the color of subtle yellow coming from them. The skin was rough and covered in dirt and dark spots she asumed were warts and his face was contorted into one ugly, and extremely angry, grin.
"That thing, is Kustos. I thought my last battle with him would've been the last. Fate's an awfuly funny thing don't you think~?" He smiled and slightly cringed as he brought down his large weapon, which looked like a large tree that was carved with symblos and sharp rocks sticking out of it, apon the forcefield. Elizaveta covered her head. "Do not worry~ You are safe~" He smiled.
"I'm fine. But how dare he do that?! And what makes it worse is that I can't even fight him!" She groaned and shook her fist angrily at Kustos. The Orc just showed his teeth.
"As of now, your Earthly frying pan cannot hurt him. Here..." He gestured for her to hand over her weapon. She hesitated, but obliged. "*Exeat de potestate eius magicae!" The pan started to glow a deep red. Vladimir hissed and dropped the pan. He held on to his burning hand and laughed. "I forgot that happens..~"
Hungary rolled her eyes and watched as the color of the metal went from crimson red to a dark navy blue. She picked it up when she seemed it was safe, which it was, and stared at it. Engraved in her noble frying pan was a symbol that looked like a dragon jumping through the loop of his own tail. She studied it. The pan seemed to be the same. She snuck a confused glance at the Romanian personification. He just smiled. "Just wait~! I'm going to put down the forcefield now~" He purred.
"So I can hit him with this?" She asked, spinning the handle in her hands. It didn't feel much different.
Vladimir nodded. "Yep~! Ready to fight~?"
Eliza smirked. "That's a stupid question~"
...
Left, right, right, left, jump, run. Liz felt like she was playing a video game inside her head. She smirked and landed a hit right on the side of Kustos' head. He groaned in pain and clenched his pointed teeth. Never in a million years did Hungary think she would ever be fighting a green mythical creature in the woods next to Romania, her unsaid 'enemy'. What the hell right? There's always a first for everything.
"How are you doing darling~?" He asked, muttering another spell that caused a bright red beam of light to go flying at the Orc.
"Me? Kicking ass like I always do~" She grinned and hit Kustos once more in the face. He fell backwards and shook his head, a little dazed.
"I think we've got'em~!" Vladimir smirked at Elizaveta then turned back to his spell book. "Et vinctum catenis egredietur!" He commanded and immediately silver chains appeared and bound the Orc's wrists together.
She watched in awe. So far today she had seen things she never would've thought possible. This was just the top of the iceberg. "So is he restrained for good?" She asked, taking an uneasy step forward.
He laughed. "Of couse~! These chains are made of pure magic nothing can break it~!" Romania turned toward Kustos. "Hello. I'm not sure if you remember me. I need what you are guarding. I'm so sorry to have to fight and intrude like this but it's an emergency. May I have the time device?"
"How can I forget you cocky bastard?" Kustos' voice was deep as he laughed. "You have beaten me fair and square friend. I now bestoweth upon you the time watch." He snapped his fingers and out of his pocket flew a pocket watch. It flew over to Eliza and dropped just in time for her to catch it in surprise.
"You gave it to me?"
He nodded slowly. "You are a non-magic user are you not?" Liz nodded. "I can tell, your aura is slightly different but it reads of strength and courage. I gave it to you because I felt it was right." He looked over at Vladimir who had his jaw dropped in shock. "You're too cocky which is why I didn't give it to you. Now it is bonded to her and only her. Use it well. I don't know what this emergency is, but I trust you both."
After his speech, he vanished leaving the chain in his place. She looked down at the watch. It was silver with the same green glow that Kustos once gave off. It was graced with the same symbol that was on her frying pan. She raised an eyebrow. "What's this symbol mean?"
Romania shrugged. "I haven't any idea. It's a marking that is uniquely attatched to you. Where it is from is something you'll have to figure out on your own." He smiled. "Welcome to the world of magic Elizaveta~!"
