Oberoi mansion
The story starts with Janvi forcing om to take gauri to the party.

Janvi: Mujhe kuch nahi pata you have to take gauri along with you.

Om: but mom...

Janvi: no ifs no buts. Its final.

Om: ok fine.

In evening om and gauri leave for the party. It was om's friends birthday party.

In the party
Om, leaving gauri alone goes to his friends and they start talking. First they were randomly gossiping later the topic changed to gauri.

Friend 1: we thought that you will marry some modern girl but tune toh behenji se shaadi karli.

Om: uski izzat bachane ke liye ki thi mujhe kya pata tha mein khud phas jaunga.

F2: uske kapde toh dekho. Who wears such a gody dress for a birthday party.

F3: exactly maine toh suna hai ke she doesn't know English.

F4: and moreover she is typical a villager.

F5: how do you even handle her?

Unknown to them gauri was listening to their whole conversation. She couldn't control her tears anymore so she ran out.

After a while om went in search of her only to find her sitting on the grass outside the venue and talking to the sky. When om came to her she started acting wierd. It was only then did he know that she was drunk.

Om: gauri why did u drink?

Gauri: because I was thirsty.

Om: if you were thirsty you should have drank water not alcohol.

Gauri: Humne apki aur apke doston ki baatien suni hum apne aap ko nahi sambhal sake issi liye hum bhaag te hua baahar aagaye. Aate waqt hum ek naukar se takra gaye. Uske haat mein sharab thi hume laga ke paani hai. Aur hum gatak gaye.

Om(thinking): phail gaya raita. Ab isse ghar bhi nahi le kar ja sakta. Ek kaam karta hoon isse farm house le kar jaata hoon aur kal jab nasha utrega toh ghar chale jayenge. (says sternly ) chalo, go and sit in the car.

Gauri obeys him n sits in the car. She was doing all mad things throughout the journey. Then they reach the farm house.

Om: chalo, bahar aao.

Gauri: ye hum kahan hain?

Om: aaj raat hum yahin rukenge.

Gauri: nahi aap akele mein hum par chillayenge. Hum nahi ayenge aap ke saath.

Om was stunned by her statement but he ignored it and scooped her in his arms n took her in. Then he went to prepare something for dinner.
When he came back he saw her sitting in a corner and crying.

Om(concerned) : gauri tum ro kyun rahi ho? (wipes her tears)
Tum Mujhe bata sakti ho.

Gauri: hum agar apko bateyenge toh aap kahenge ki hum jhoot bol rahen hai.

Om: ek baar bol ke toh dekho.

Gauri: toh suniye (she wipes her tears n side hugs om and tells) hum gauri kumari sarma panchvi pass from bareilly . Hum silai (stitching) ka kaam karte the. Humari life mein sab kuch theek tha par phir hume pata chala ki humare chacha-chachi ne hume 5 crore mein bech diya kali thakur ko. Uss kali ne hume bohot zaleel kiya. Hume zanjeeron (chain) se baand ke rakha. Usne humse zabardasti shaadi karni chahi. Sirf woh akele nahi usne uske bhaiyoon ke saath humari shaadi karni chahi. Phir hum badi mushkil se wahan se bhaag gaye. Tab jaake hum apse mile. Apne hume bachane ke liya humse shaadi karli aur un gaon walon ke jaane ke baad hume wahi chod gaye. Agar kali ko yeh baat pata chalti toh woh hume jaan se maar deta iss liya mein Mumbai bhaag aayi. Yahan aane ke baad mein sultana se mile aur mujhe pata chala ke usse male naukar ki Zaroorat thi. Toh hum dandi bhaiya ki madat se chulbul bangaye. Phir ka hua aap yeh achche se jaante hai. Hum bure nahi hai omkaraji. Buama buri hai. Woh apko marna chahti hai. Woh apse apka beta chenke apko mar dengi. Issiliya unhone apse zabardasti ki hume ghar me rakh ne ki. Jab hume yeh pata chala toh humne unse kaha ke hum baanj (a lady who cannot give birth) hai. Ab woh hume mar na chahti hai kyun ki unka maksad poora nahi hoga. Hume bacha lijiye omkaraji. Please. Please.

And she dozes off to sleep in om's arms. Om who was stunned, shocked and more than that guilty after knowing the truth lay gauri on the bed and went deep into his thoughts.

Om: i believe her cause no body can lie under the influence of alcohol. yeh kya kiya maine. Uske baaton par yakeen karna toh door ki bat maine toh suni hi nahi. How can i become as heartless as tej singh oberoi. And what was she telling about buama. Is that true? I'll have to confront her tomorrow.

A guilty om couldn't sleep the whole night. He cried the whole night. Next day morning om saw gauri sleeping peaceful. He couldn't face her so he brought a lime juice n kept it on the table along with a chit. Gauri got up and saw the chit it read- yeah lime juice tumhare hangover ko kam karega. Issey Jaldi se piyo aur bahar aao mein gadi mein intezaar kar raha hoon. She knew that it was om so she had quickly and went out.
Outside she saw om sitting in the car and she too went and sat. The drive to the house was a silent one as both of them were lost in their own world.

Gauri (thinking) : pata nahi meine kal raat ko ka keh diya. I hope kuch galat na kaha ho.

Om(thinking): meine gauri ko bohot rulaya hai ab mein usse uske hisse ki khushi dunga usse apni biwi manke.
Unknown to himself he was starting to love & respect gauri.

Oberoi mansion
Om: gauri tum fresh ho kar maa se milne ke baad kamre me aajana. Mujhe tumse baat karni hai.

Gauri: theek hai (thinking) shayad kal raat ko jo hua woh batane ke liye bulaya hoga.

It was more than an hour but gauri did not come so he decided to go and check. When he went out he was shocked to see buama trying to push gauri down the railing. He rushed to save gauri. But buama was so mad at gauri that she didn't realize om's presence. In his fight to save gauri, om lost his balance & fell down from the railing.

Gauri (shouting): omkaraji.

And she ran down only to find him lying in a pool of blood fighting for life.

Gauri lifts his head and makes it rest on her lap till then everyone gather in the hall n are hell shocked.

Om: gau... Gauri i. I'm ssss sorry.
Mmm meine tummmhari baat nahi maani. I'm ssss sorry.

Slowly he loses his consciousness. He was Rushed to the hospital. After nearly an hour doctors came out and said

Doc: we are sorry, he has slipped into coma.

Bua (goes up to gauri) : its all your fault. Its only because of you that my Omkie shomki is in coma. If you don't bring him out from coma within three months, I'll kill you.

90 days later
Om pov
Its been days since that incident. Even though all my senses have died, my hearing senses are working absolutely fine. I don't think so anybody knows about that. If they knew they wouldn't share their miseries with me. I heard the great SSO break down, I heard rudra narrate his day just the way he did when i was in my sense,I heard my mom & dadi crying n asking me to wake up, i heard the doctors coming to check me regularly but most of my time will pass by listening to gauri's stories which were mostly about her childhood & adulthood struggles. I don't know when but i have started to feel for her. I feel that I will die if she leaves me. As soon as I'll gain my senses I'll propose her but I don't know if she will accept it as I have tortured her in the past. As i was thinking all this i heard the sound of her payal. She was coming to spend her morning with me. It was only when she came and sat beside me i realized she was crying. After a little while she started talking.

Gauri: omkaraji hume maaf kardijiye. Kal teen mahine poore hojayenge. Aur agar apko kal tak hosh nahi aaya toh buama hume mardengi. Issi liye hume jaana hoga.

Om pov continues
Saying so she ran. The minute she left the room i felt difficult to breathe. It was like my heart was gonna stop beating. Seeing my condition all my family members gathered around me which made it more difficult for me to breathe. With the continuous wailing of my mom, dadi & rudra i tried to gain my senses back. It was very difficult but at last I succeeded.

As soon as I got up. I scanned the whole room. Everyone were gathered around. My mom, my dadi, my choti ma, mr. oberoi, chote papa, bhabi, bhavya, rudra and my so called buaMA everyone were there except Shivaay and gauri. I know Shivaay had gone to attend a meeting after being forced by mr.oberoi but where was my gauri. I asked my mom but she was clueless. Soon a gaurd came and gave a letter to rudra which was addressed to me. I asked everyone except mom n rudra to leave the room. They obeyed my words. Then i asked rudra to read the letter for me as I was too weak to even sit. He read

Dear Omkaraji
Jab tak apko yeh khat milega hum OM chod kar jaachuke honge. Ap yeh mat samjiyega ki hum iss rishte se kush nahi hai. Hum bohot khush hai par kya karein hume apni jaan bachane ke liye jaana hoga. Hum apko reason nahi bata sakte kyunki ap viswas nahi karienge. Apna khayal rakhna.

As soon as rudra read the letter, tears started making a way on my cheeks. I started removing all the medical equipments which gave me life support.

Janvi: om yeh tum kya kar rahe ho aur gauri kya keh rahi hai?

Then he tells everything that took place in the party. Rudra n janvi are shocked to hear this.

Janvi: woh sab toh theek hai om par tum iss haalat mein usse kahan dhoondoge.

Om: mom please Mujhe jaane dijiye. Isse pehle ki bohot der ho jaye Mujhe jaane dijiye.

Janvi: par agar Shivaay ko pata chal gaya toh?

Om: mein usske aane se pehle aajaunga.

Seeing his son about to break down she allows him to go. He and rudra went to search for gauri. Om asked rudra to check out the area near dandi bhaiya's house whereas he went towards the bus stop. It has been 2 hours since he woke up but he had eaten nothing which made him even more weaker. After searching for around 15 mins he lost his consciousness.

Om pov
After sometime i woke to see that i was lying in the lap of an angelic beauty. It was my gauri. She had tears of happiness as well as worry. I immediately hugged her as tight as possible. It seemed like my life depends on her. When I felt that people in the crowd were staring at us i asked her to follow me and she obeyed. I made her sit in my car and took her to an isolated place and messaged rudy that i found her. Throughout the journey she kept on asking me many questions but I didn't bother to answer any. When we reached the place i got down and she followed me and i immediately hugged her.

Gauri: yeh aap hume kahan leke aaye hain? Aapko hosh kab aaya? Aapko aram kar na chahiye, aap bohot kamzoor lag rahen hai. Humare sawaloon ka jawab dijiye.

Om: agar tum Mujhe baat karne dogi toh main jawab doonga na.
(he released her from the hug) jab tum Mujhe chod ke gayi thi na tab Mujhe hosh aaya aur meine yeh realize kiya ke mein tumhare bina nahi reh sakta. Aur yeh batane ke liye mein tumhe yaha laya hoon.

Gauri was about to say something but om kept a finger on her lips and told her to be quite.
Om: aaj sirf mein bolunga aur tum sunogi
Gauri mein janta hoon meine tumhare saath bohot bura suluk kiya hai. Mein yeh bhi jaanta hoon ki mein jab bhi tumhare saath vayse suluk karta tha, tumhe bohot bura lagta tha aur tum chup chup ke roti thi. Ek sikke(coin) ke 2 pehlu hote hai waise hi har sach ke bhi 2 pehlu hote hai. Meine bina doosra pehlu jaane mai jo jaanta tha usse hi sach Samaj beitha. (with tears in his eyes) I'm sorry. Meine bina poora sach jaane tumhe kya kya nahi kaha. Tumhe characterless kaha par tum chup chap sunti rahi kuch kaha bhi nahi aur meri raksha karti rahi. Tumne Mujhe buama ka sach batane ki koshish ki par mein ne tum par believe nahi kiya aur iss wajah se tumhari jaan par ban aayi. I'm sorry gauri, I'm sorry (he falls on in his knees even she comes and kneels next to him) main Tumse kitna bhi maafi maangun kam hai par ab mein apni galti sudhar ne ke liye tayar hoon (he gets up and wipes his tears and makes gauri stand and wipes her tears) gauri meine tumhe bohot takleef di hai. Main yeh nahi keh sakta ke main tumhe aur takleef nahi dunga par tumhe tumhare hisse ki khushiya Zaroor dunga. (gauri looks at him, surprised as he goes down on his knees) gauri inn teen mahino mein main bhale hi tumhe dekh nahi paya par main tumhe sun raha tha aur yeh realize kiya ki tum kitni achchi ho aur yeh bhi realize kiya ke main tumse kitna pyaar karta hum. (he looks at gauri who was having tears in her eyes) yes gauri I LOVE YOU main tumse bohot pyaar karta hoon aur apni poori zindagi tumhare saath bitana chahta hoon. KYA TUM MERE NAKHRE POORI ZINDAGI JHELNE KE LIYE TAYAAR HO. WILL YOU BE MINE? WILL YOU MARRY ME? (gauri was stunned and looked adorably at om) ab jaldi jawab do mere legs pain kar rahe hain. (gauri laughed and helped him stand and hugged him)
Gauri: I love you too aur hum apke saare nakhre jhelne ke liye tayar hain.
Then they left to OM. They were happily welcomed by the family. They were chatting happily but gauri was physically present and mentally absent this was noticed by om.

Om: gauri kya hua. Where are you lost?

Gauri: kuch nahi Omkaraji hum bas buama ko dhoond rahe the.

Janvi: humne unhe police ke havale kar diya hai. After all unhone mere bahu aur bete ko maar ne ki koshish ki hai.

Shivaay: aur jo bhi mere parivaar ko chot pohanchayega uski bakhi ki zindagi jail mein guzaregi.

Shivaay goes to om and hugs him tight even rudra joins them.

Om: guys moment nikal gaya pehle emotional tha ab

ShivOmRu: awkward hai.

They all have fun for little while and then send om to take rest. After nearly half an hour gauri enters the room. She goes to take a shower. She comes out n starts drying her hair when she feels two strong arms around her waist she knew who it was.

Gauri pov
I was drying my hair when I felt
two strong arms around my waist. I knew it was Omkaraji. He started to kiss me on my neck. I turned around and pushed him slightly and tried to leave.

Om pov
I don't know why but i couldn't control myself. When she turned to leave i immediately caught her wrist and made her face me. I slowly wrapped my hands around her waist and whispered an "i love you" in her ear. And got "i love you too" as a reply. I cupped her face and gave a peck on her forehead. Then i kissed her eyes n then moved to her cheeks then her nose. I was going to attack her lips but i moved away as i was not sure whether she was ready. I muttered a sorry and turned to go when i felt a tug on my wrist. I turned to see her and she said "apko sorry bolne ki Zaroorat nahi hai" and she slowly reached out to my forehead"

That night they promised each other that Even though their future may not be a bed of roses but they will be with each other till eternity. They promised each other to accept the other with their flaws and try to have a happy life together. And the night witnessed the two souls become one.
