Magic magic everywhere
Charms flying here and there
One glance and you know
The one coming at you is rare

You recognise that one charm
Like that all too familiar song
Like the only connection between friends
That can never go wrong

It comes, it hits
Rattles your wits
You wonder why
It broke you to bits

Worlds can definitely break
Words can piece together too
Words have the power to change
Every person's point of view

Words are like dew
They vanish with the sun
Bouncing on the leaf of rhymes
They too have their fun

The words pass through
The filter of our minds then and now
Like the sunlight through the dew drop
Breaking into a rainbow 🌈

Begin with a moth
Turn to to butterfly
Words are your wings
Fly thoughts, fly!

Ask for five
Take fifty
Stocks of your time
Rise more than sensex and nifty

The thoughts fly around a lot,
From silences to gesture,
Roamed through smiles and ended
In a stock exchange venture

That's how they should be
Roam the whole wide world
And yet, stay rooted
To the core of words

Words are rooted in us,
The tree is standing strong
Just the flowers bloom so rare
And we wait for them so long

We wait and wait
To catch a bait
For our inner self
To reveal a trait

The wait is worth it,
When the words flow so well,
These words are precious
And to be treasured for the stories we tell

Author's Note

I hadn't written a lot of poetries a long time... Hadn't written anything basically and words were difficult to find and that caused more stress until cchinu walked in and engaged me in this jamming sessions... So these lines are a fitting tribute to any writer who feels they aren't being productive or they aren't finding the words...
