I can still hear the voices,
Strict reminders here and there ,
Scolding little and lots of love
And a warmth spread everywhere.
I can still feel the gentleness,
The genuineness of your care
When I close my eyes I see
The light still guiding me here
And one day some years ago,
I grew out of school and yet,
Nothing has changed as I look back,
At the memories of teachers I met.
That same care now unmasked,
The fondness in their tone to say
The same beacon to guide me,
And to support me still, everyday.
