The colours blend in to form
One gorgeous canvas,
Palettes of crimson and gold,
Splashed with regal magenta.
The nature weaves it's tale of love,
As paradise descends on the mortal world.
Clouds close in thick black,
Like the hair of a stranded dame,
Billowing in the wind,
The sun has receded to his home,
The darkness comes swooping in,
Like the screen dropping on an age old cinema.
The winds whoosh and hush,
And whisper secrets to the ears that listen.
The beholder stands paralysed in front of,
This scene so unbelievably gorgeous.
The boundary between light and shadows ,
Seems to have been cleaved apart, finally
As the hues of the sky melt into each other,
Wrapping around the clouds,
Like lovers entwined, arms in arms.
