Chicago One Shot

As soon as Roxie Hart entered your prison, you knew you were going to have to knock the bitch down a peg. It was a lot to accept when you decided to team up with Velma Kelly to out her lies and bullshit to the public so that Velma had a chance to return to the limelight that she enjoyed basking in so much. You hadn't been friends with her before Roxie arrived, but you had become so sick of the innocent pregnant act, that you were willing to team up with the starlet to pass the never-ending boredom of prison life.

You had never had Billy Flynn as your lawyer but seeing him with both Roxie and Velma along with any other woman he could get famous from, you knew he was going to be key in your plan. The two of you had sat together for days working through the plan of how to destroy her legal case and get her lawyer back to Velma and you were finally ready to enact it.

Billy Flynn was waiting for Roxie for one of their many meetings, his paperwork set out before him ready to discuss the lies they were going to speak in front of the judge. You acted as though you were walking to sit at a table behind where he was already sat, but pretended to stumble. Billy reached out to grab you, stepping away from his table, and more importantly the paperwork.

You let out a loud wail. "Oh, my ankle! I think it must be broken!"

You screamed as loudly and dramatically as you could, stumbling back to drag him away from the table as Velma swooped in to grab the sheets that the two of you needed. As soon as you saw he exit the room with them, you stood up straight, told him you were fine and scurried off after your conspirator, leaving the man baffled.

Velma met you in your cell, dropping the papers onto your bunk.

"This is going to hold every piece of truth that they tried to use to create their foundation of lies," Velma stated. "And if we have any hope of putting her back in her place, it will be with these papers."

"Every word out of that woman's mouth is a lie, all we need is one piece of proof that she's lied on the stand and the whole case will be put into question."

Velma smirked. "It'll be like stealing candy from a baby."
