Waitress One Shot

Every day you went to Joe's Diner to get a slice of pie and a cup of coffee for breakfast before heading off to work. Before you started going there, you hadn't been a massive fan of pie but when you met Jenna an learnt she had baked all the pies, you had fallen in love and not just with the food. Jenna was a beautiful, intelligent and talented woman and it was hard to not want to get to know her. You had made it a habit to go there every single day to try the new pie flavours that she concocted and seeing her certainly wasn't an issue.

She spent time with you everyday when she took your order and brought it over, spending an extra few minutes to talk to you and get to know each other, even flirting a little bit. Jenna was everything that you could have ever wanted in life, but you had to keep putting off when you would ask her out as at the moment you were frankly too nervous that she would say no to anything more than just flirting at the diner every morning.

Today you entered the diner, expecting to sit in your normal seat but the whole of her section was filled so you had to sit in the corner in one of the other waitresses' sections. It felt a shame that you wouldn't get to speak to Jenna today, but things happened, and you couldn't always control it.

As you sat there, you expected Dawn or Becky to approach you, but Jenna made her way through the tables to see you.

"This isn't your section," you said playfully. "Won't you get in trouble for straying over here to me?"

She shook her head. "I'd do anything for you."

This seemed like you had the perfect opportunity to ask her for a date or anything that was more than mere conversations over your breakfast pie whilst she worked.

"Well if you'd do anything for me, maybe we could share a slice of pie and get to know each other a bit better?" You offered. "Obviously after you finish work, I wouldn't want to get you in trouble."

She smiled fondly at you and nodded her head. "I can always take my break now?"

You couldn't help but grin at her. "If you wouldn't mind, I would love to get to know you better than I currently do, you certainly seem amazing."

Jenna's cheeks became slightly red as she closed her notebook in which she took orders.

"A mug of coffee and a slice of today's special?" She grinned.

You nodded your head. "As always, and whatever you want to go on my tab."

"I'll be right back."
