-What I think about the 21 Chump Street situation-

So I listened to the 21 Chump Street album and I cried. Now I am going to say what I think about Naomi and the whole situation.

Ok first of all, I see why Naomi went undercover. Her reason is understandable. She wants to teach kids who do drugs a lesson.

However, as we see in the musical Justin was never a drug dealer nor did he hung out with them. He was a good student and from my research wanted to join the air force.

Naomi, in my opinion, didn't handle the situation well. In the song 'Money' Justin says 'You can keep your money.' Which signals to Naomi that Justin wasn't a drug dealer and that he only did that because he wants her to be happy.

Even with this information, Naomi still insist that Justin takes the money. Which sent Justin to jail. Now I'll admit Justin was an idiot, if someone is insisting you on taking their money that is a huge red flag. And Justin was obviously blinded by love. And even if it was for love he shouldn't have bought drugs.

But Naomi, being an adult, could've just saw that Justin was innocent and could've just let him off with a warning.  But she still decided to arrest him.

Now here's another question, should they be sending students to prison for doing drugs.

I'd say no, instead I believe they should be sent to some sort of rehab. So they are able to move away from the addiction. I think, that would have been a better solution to it. If students get sent to jail, their chances of getting into college and having a good carrier decreases. If they get sent to rehab, I feel like they will have a better chance of getting their lives together. (Please correct me if I am wrong)

I am just happy that, Justin got his life together and I hope that Naomi is doing good as well.
