it's a musical that makes fun of musicals. come on. it's hilarious, the costumes look incredible, i bop my aSs to the cast album, and man, i just love my boy christian borle.

i love the over the top characters and how the bard has concerts for his poetry, which is really funny.

bea- every time she walks on stage i have to say "yES GIRL"

nick- perfect imperfect character! i love how he grows and calms down nigel when he has panic attacks

nigel- pure. wholesome. smart. beautiful. bean.

portia- SJSJJJSJSJSJJSKSKSK WHERE DO I START WITH PORTIA? SHE'S ADORABLE, AND I LOVE HER SONGS SO MUCH AND SHE'S SUCH A FANTASTIC CHARACTER HHNNNG

the bard- christian borle in eyeliner. wow. and?? "tobey or not to be". w o w .

also, i just LOVE nigel and portia's relationship. they're such nerds and it makes me happy every time they're just fangirling over poetry and portia tells an innuendo accidentally.

aLso, "a musical" is such an awesome number. the choreography makes me nUt
