alright. again, a musical i once loved more than anything in the world, but grew out of.

i still enjoy the music, and all the actors are talented and stuff.

i love george and will and stephanie and everybody in the cast, but yeah. i just think there are better musicals.

i feel like if i saw the show i'd be super into it again but since i haven't, i don't really have an opinion on the story.

the music, though, is pretty great. it's not my favorite cast album, but i still bop to it because the music is fun as hELL

i belt to mitb, dance to the smartphone hour, do the "beep-bop-boops" in the pitiful children, etc. so i still really love the music, but i can't really have an opinion at the moment on the show!

i like the characters, but i hate the ships. (this isn't something wrong with the musical, it's just about the fandom, but i thought i'd bring it up now.)

why the fuck does the bmc fandom have so many ships?

deere, arsonberry, puppy love, stagedorks, boyf riends, technical difficulties, richjake, upstage, expensive headphones, etc. etc. etc.

AND MOST OF THE SHIPS DON'T EVEN MAKE SENSE LOL

technical difficulties is jeremy x squip (oof) which is just... do i have to explain why that's a bad idea?

i understand why people ship boyf riends (which i kinda like but don't really care for)

i understand expensive headphones (which i like a little more than boyf riends)

but i really like stagedorks. it's the ONLY SHIP THAT MAKES SENSE.

arsonberry is michael x brooke. i- since when- i mean- why?

don't be offended if you ship any of these ships, but i just don't understand. i feel like the fandom doesn't ship what makes sense, they just ship the unpopular ones for the sake of being different.

there are also a lot of other issues with the fandom, which is why i don't say im in it. i like the show, though. the fans don't impact my thoughts on the show.
