Top 10 Best Cage the Elephant Songs

Okay, this list is different from my favorites. I've done a lot of research for what people's favorite songs are from this artist, so this is just statistics. Sorry if you don't agree, I don't particularly think so, either.

As for albums, the most popular albums from most to least are as follows: Melophobia, Unpeeled, Cage the Elephant, Thank You, Happy Birthday, Tell Me I'm Pretty.

10) Cry Baby (Tell Me I'm Pretty)
Starting off, for one, this seems to be a popular song for the band to start off with. Now, I know that Tell Me I'm Pretty isn't too popular for a lot of people, but everyone who complains about it says that the "only good song(s)" is/are Portuguese Knife Fight and/or Cry Baby.

9) Shake Me Down
This song seems to be one of those songs that people usually would say are overrated, but in Cage the Elephant's case, it seems to just be one of those songs that if people only knew one song by them, this would probably be that song.

8) Telescope
This song is in almost EVERYONE's top 10 songs by Cage. Even if it isn't, I've never heard ANYONE speak badly about this song.

7) Come A Little Closer
This is one of those songs, as I've heard, was one of their most popular songs at the time and was always showing up on the radio. It's one of those songs that got Cage more popular, and probably also contributed to their first Grammy nomination.

6) Cigarette Daydreams
This is another one of those songs that is not only a classic, but you don't really get many haters on this song. Sure, there are those people that aren't particularly a fan of it, but for those who do love it, it's almost always one of their favorites. On top of that, this song is played near the end of all of their concerts, and I can bet it's not going to be taken off the set list for a while.

5) Right Before My Eyes
This is a beautiful song by the band, and it ended up being the closer for their live, acoustic album, Unpeeled. I've only really had one person complain about it, but it was more just like "I've heard it too much." This song is included in almost everyone's favorites as well, and I've never seen someone that hasn't included it in their favorites (besides that one guy but he's not important XD).

4) Aberdeen
This song had waaaayyyyyy more spotlight than I thought it did. I've never heard anybody complain about it, and I've heard everyone say that the music video was amazing.

3) Back Against the Wall
I don't think the top three need a lot of explanation, but this song is one of the most popular songs from their debut.

2) In One Ear
EVERYONE LOVES THIS SONG. I'm not a fan of it because it swears, but of course the rest of the world loves it. I can't escape this song because it's so popular.

Honorable Mentions:

Punchin' Bag (Tell Me I'm Pretty)
This is kind of just what Matt and Brad say is really popular.
Portuguese Knife Fight (Tell Me I'm Pretty)
This is just a really popular song from the album that I constantly get nagged about including in my favorite song list. This is another of the three songs that everyone loves on this album.
Cold Cold Cold (Tell Me I'm Pretty)
Not only is this the the final song of three from the album that people don't hate, but this is also the most hilarious song that I've researched. After Cage the Elephant won a Grammy award in 2017, many fans from the artists that lost went to this music video "to be salty," and yet every one of them had to admit that Cage the Elephant was good at that it made sense that they won. XD
Whole Wide World - Unpeeled (Unpeeled)
Even though this was the leading single from their newest album, it's technically not their song, so it probably wouldn't have made it, anyway.
Spiderhead (Melophobia)
No comment on this one. I'm a little salty that this one didn't make it. I saw it on quite a few lists, but it just didn't make it. That's not okay with me. (jk it's a joke guys...maybe)

1) Ain't No Rest for the Wicked
You shouldn't be surprised that this was the number one song. Come on, EVERY Cage fan knows this song from the second it turns on and you hear that riff.
