*the next day*

Yoshi was heading to the last class of the day, Art. Suddenly he bumped into someone and both he and the mystery person fell to the floor. “Oh my god, I’m so sorry!” Yoshi exclaimed, picking up the other person’s things on instict.

Then, he realized that out of all the people he could have bumped into, it was… Birdo. Both her and Yoshi’s faces turned a deep shade of red. Yoshi gave Birdo’s things to her while continuing to blush furiously.

“Thanks,” Birdo mumbled before running away. Yoshi felt as if he was about to start sweating all of a sudden. He picked up his own things and headed to class.

In the art room, each table had two chairs. Daisy headed to Rosalina, but she was sitting next to Boo. Then, she tried going to sit with Yoshi, but he was already sitting with Toad. She noticed that Mario was sitting next to… Bowser? Daisy sighed and sat at a table by herself. Oh well, she thought. Sitting alone is better than sitting with-

Daisy was cut off from her thoughts when someone had taken the seat next to her. “Hi, Daisy,” the voice of her seatmate was obviously Luigi's. Daisy started panicking in her head.

“H-hey,” she stuttered. Luckily, he wasn’t able to talk any longer because the art teacher, Ms. Pianta began speaking.

“This will be your first art project of the third quarter,” she started. “Whoever you’re sitting next to now will be your partner. You two will design a mural using paint. The mural must be city-themed. Since we meet every Tuesday and Friday, the deadline will be March 7. That means you have six meetings to work on this. I will give all of you the rubric in a few minutes. Your materials are already on your table. Start working!”

“What should we do?” Luigi asked Daisy immediately.

“Umm… Let’s do a park as the foreground and put some city buildings in the background,” Daisy suggested.

“Dai, that’s a great idea!” Luigi complimented.

“Thanks,” Daisy blushed slightly. “We should draw the stuff first.” Luigi nodded in agreement and the two of them started drawing.

*at dismissal*

Boo went to the library after stopping at his locker. He sat down at one of the tables that were kind of hidden. Five minutes later, Bowser showed up.

“So, what subjects are we doing today?” he questioned, putting his bag down and taking a seat.

“Well, we’re doing Math, History, and Literature today,” Boo answered. “And we’re doing English, Science, and Health on Thursday.”

“I did the math work,” Bowser gave Boo some completed math problems. Boo checked them.

“You got all of them correct!” Boo grinned. “You’ve gotten the hang of it. Now, let’s move on to surface areas of prisms and pyramids.”

*meanwhile*

“How’s your relationship with Luigi?” Peach taunted Daisy.

“Go away,” Daisy muttered.

“Oh dear,” Peach shook her head. “You don’t just tell anyone to ‘go away’. That’s rude.”

“Hi, Daisy,” Toad approached his friend. “What’s up?”

“I’m dealing with someone who’s a little too desperate for attention,” Daisy stated.

“Excuse me?” Peach glowered. “What did you say?”

“You didn’t hear her?” Rosalina joined the conversation. “That’s a shame. Maybe the sound waves couldn’t reach you through all of those layers of shallowness.”

“Hey, you don’t just barge into conversations like that,” Dixie said.

“Well I’m sorry to burst your bubble of stupidity, but you just barged into a conversation, too,” Rosalina replied. “Hypocrite much?”

“Rosie,” Luigi started. “Calm down, they’re not worth it.” Since when was he here? Peach thought.

“They want a damn fight, so I’m giving them one!” Rosalina was obviously ticked off.

“Oh, look here. The wimps have finally gathered the courage to speak up,” Wario grinned.

“Don’t be so mean, Wario. They might cry,” Waluigi laughed.

“You’ll be the one crying if you ask for it,” Daisy warned, raising her fist.

“Stop pretending to be strong, Daisy,” Dixie rolled her eyes. “I’m sure you’ve cried over your petty little crush before. What a baby.” Daisy’s face reddened in embarrassment. It didn’t take a genius to know what Dixie was talking about.

“No one can take you seriously,” Rosalina defended her best friend. “You lack common sense and without Peach, you’re a nobody.” Dixie gasped at Rosalina’s remark.

“I’m amused by your extreme effort to overtake the us,” Peach giggled. “Such try-hards.”

“We’re not trying to overtake you,” Luigi stated. “We’re trying to show you that you’re not any better than we are. You don’t seem familiar with the concept of equality.”

“And we’re not try-hards, you guys are,” Toad said. “All you care about is being cool. I’m sure you’d want to have six-inch-long fingernails if it was mainstream!”

“Besides, the only reason you’re pretty is because you hope your looks replace your personality,” Daisy added. “If you were ugly, you’d be a so-called loner.”

That was the final straw for Peach. She took a step closer to Daisy and slapped her face. Daisy’s cheek turned red.

“Fine, you want the dork to stand up for herself?” Daisy eyed Peach. “You get what you want.” Daisy kicked Peach in the shin so hard that Peach immediately fell to the ground. And that was how the physical part of the fight started.

Daisy let out all of the anger she had ever felt about the populars. She attempted to beat the people who had treated her like dirt on their shoes for two and a half years. Daisy was so pissed off and she couldn’t get herself to stop fighting. Not at this point. It was payback time. Luigi, Toad, and Rosalina fought the populars as well. Of course, the populars fought back. The freshman locker hallway was chaotic.

“STOP!” a voice yelled. Almost immediately, everyone stopped what they were doing.

Ik it's old but I love it! I kinda feel like Daisy and Yoshi fit the song but what do you think? Btw now you know that Boo tutors Bowser... In secret! They don't want anyone to know about it.
