Nothing to behold though in this dark I see stars

Galaxies swirl in my eyes and fade from sight as I watch the light dance before me

I stay in the safety of darkness

The demons quell in favor of bursting nebulae full of imaginary colors

Dull grey becomes blue- becomes green- becomes yellow, orange, red, violet

Colors shaping and changing from stars colliding and bathing me in there infinite glory where there is nothing to behold

Why would I want to leave?

Its too bright out there

Within these walls I can see anything I want

Within these walls I feel free

Within the darkness and isolation I see light and I am in good company though I am by myself

I see distant worlds and far away paradises

I see freedom within my grasp and suddenly I feel meaningful

She asks me to leave and let in all the light I so dislike

I visit infinite space from my safe zone in the dark

I see the stars
