Biophobia
Endless chasm of a starless night sky
Swirling with sunlight and bathing your inhabitants
Deep ocean you are my terror and my curiosity
So far are your depths we cannot fathom
Creatures unknown hide
Sharp teeth in unassuming places
Harmless death floating aimlessly like leaves in the wind
Gentle giants and minute villains
Perhaps you hide monsters capable of destroying us should our land sink away
As your glittering surface breaks into black abyss
Your ominous presence and lurking deep home to gargantuan beasts and fear
So little do we know of your children
They are our terror and our curiosity
Thlassophobia
Endless expanse of waving figures
What do you hide within you
A ceiling of leaves traps us
Bars of wood keep us contained
Creatures roam about us unseen in your comfort
Unseen and adapted to you
What hides within you forest
What is released into you at night
Hylophobia
Diamond sands shining in the dry heat
Minimalist monsters
Two fangs and venom
A poisonous tail
Dehydrating
Plants have spikes like maces
The inhospitable desert with no protection from murderous monsters
Playing host to innumerable predators
Xerophobia
