dear lauren,

i can't do it anymore. i can't let negan win. i'm leaving for a mission, our mission, early tomorrow morning. it's gonna be a bit different though, i'm gonna find your mom and bring her back, but first i'm gonna kill negan.

should i tell her about you?
what's there to say?

everyone else is done grieving you. even dad is back to business. i know they're still hurting, but it doesn't feel like it matters as much to them. i feel like i'm going backwards. i still feel as though you're alive.

sometimes i wake up and forget you left. maybe there's something wrong with me. i'll update you tomorrow.

i love you. i'll promise to be safe.
