Outer- The reason why he is so mysterious and cryptic is because he knows he is going to die sooner or later and all of his friends, family, and even strangers are going to, too. He also has a small depression, knowing he was just a dmall blip in the universe not worth anything. He sees a therapist for his athazagoraphobia, and it's helping a lot. But he still has that feeling in the back of his mind.
He is also very wary of things but chooses not to show it. He's like a cow, hard and calm on the outside, but the meat of his feelings are in the inside. He is a survivor.

Dream- secretly behind all of this. He and Nightmare are very close, and he feels the relationships he has with his friends isn't good. He thinks its so bad, that he wants to murder almost all of them. His plan is to murder Cross, Killer, and Error. He tried his hardest to stay positive and believe in them, but when they almost killed Nightmare by accident with his water phobia and gave him a heart attack by pouring a bucket of water on him. He wanted to get rid of them, but he didn't know how. It was when he was sitting on a chair waiting for the man for the fish he ordered and saw the news report about the snowstorm on the TV near them (with captions on). So while everyone was asleep, he made sure the snow wasn't piled up high too high so he could glue the doors shut with hot glue. He was going a bit insane during this, and told himself that the only way Nightmare could be truly happy is if Error, Cross and Killer were dead. He is a great actor and just acts as he normally would on any other day on this specific occasion. He is the mastermind of all of this and practically brainwashed Swap into believing him. Swap was easy to believe in everything since he never stops believing in someone. He gets put into therapy for "criminals".

Swap- trusts Dream too much to the point where he murders people as Dream asked him to. He feels guilt easily in this story and ends up murdering himself from the guilt. Blue seems suspicious from the start when Dream started asking "favors" for him, for he is not a very good actor. He murders himself, as said, and is not a survivor. No matter what, he never gave up on one of his closest friends named Dream. He never stops believing in someone.

Dust- After Swap's death, he becomes emotionally unstable. He becomes a victim but gets locked in the basement when Dream is started to get annoyed by Dust lashing out at everyone. He at first tries to reason with Dust, and when that doesn't work, he tries sparing him for a couple of minutes until Dream finally cracks and pushes him down the basement door, and with a few moments of hesitation, locks it. Dust gets trapped there for a solid 4 days. (there was storage in the basement which helped him survive). The police found him when they were investigating the mansion after the whole event. He is a survivor.

Ink- he survives and ends up distracting Dream by putting himself in danger by saying that he and Nightmare decided to cut ties, leaving Dream in a furious rage and attacking Ink, giving the opportunity for Nightmare, Error, and Killer, who are also survivors, to put down Dream and capture him. Ink is trying to survive from his mild hating of himself. He hates how he seems so awkward and emotionless "all the time". He stresses that whatever he does might change someone's opinion of him or others or anything in a bad way just by talking to them. His anxiety and stress lead him to grow a habit of washing his face frequently every day. He masks himself with positivity and tries to act happy and hyper, hoping that people would laugh with him and not at him.
Backstory: Ink lived in an orphanage all his life. He doesn't know what happened to his parents, everything he remembered was living at the orphanage. But one day, when he turned 18, he mustered up the courage to leave a note and scream the adults that he wanted to leave, and when they said no, he screamed, "I JUST WANT TO BE SOMEBODY!" at them and ran off. He escaped and ran for days, maybe even a week, stopping every day for a small bottle of water and only ate a box of cookies from a kind lady who had seen him crouching outside her house looking tired as heck. Eventually, he stopped at the town of AU Alternate. He didn't know what to do. What to think. So he walked to a patch of grass in front of a house and sat there for another day.
He is a survivior.

Error- He has depression from anxiety and stress and is tired most of the time. He keeps most personal stuff to himself unless it unintentionally slips out. He gets angry easily and takes out his anger on random objects. He had a habit of playing with his strings. He has a strong haphephobia and is only comfortable with a few people: Outer, Ink (a big bit), and Blue. (in some cases). He suspects something is up with Dream with no evidence whatsoever. He just has a hunch something is going to happen and it's going to be Dream's fault. He is a survivor.
