*laughs awkwardly*...*sighs*
It's only been one chapter in and I've accidentally started Rush x Kendall.
Sorry guys. 0///0

Eventually, all the guests met up in the dining room.
The sky had turned into shades of slate blue, white, and grey, as the sun faded outside.
The green finally blurred into a tone of spruce, slate, and denim, black light being splashed across the horizon.
Behind the mountains, through the fog...
...and...gone.
Now it was all black, the only light being the glowing luminous jack-o-lanterns outside, shining orange light into the scattering fog.
It affected the inside, too. The candlelight orange an the coral decorations fluttered softly at the rumblings of commotions.
Most of the girls sat at the dining room, in the chairs, or on the side, sitting against the walls, talking.
Comet handed out hot chocolates to some of the girls, and soon the whole room smelled like cinnamon and chocolate.
Fangirl and Dawson sat by the giant windows. Outside, the pale orange-yellow light became murky with deep black and white light.
The two moons came into sight, just peering over top of the almost-transparent thin whisp clouds.
"Mobs are starting to spawn in," Dawson commented.
Crystal and Papisuu sat by the two, leaning their backs against the windows. Crystal shivered silently.
"Man, zombies give me the creeps," She murmured as muffled noises from the zombies echoed outside.
"Same," Papisuu agreed.
And with that, the sun had completely gone.
Papisuu stood up, addressing everyone.
"Ok everyone; prepare to spend the night here."
There was an eerie tone to what she had said, embedded in her voice, but the overall ambiance of the group was pure ecstasy.
Papisuu, Crystal, Investigator, Fangirl, Dawson, and Boredom all decided to sleep in the dining hall.
The other all agreed to sleep upstairs in any spare bedrooms they could find.
After the food and festivities, the groups would split up to sleep in those areas. In the morning, they would all eat breakfast together.
The pumpkins glowed brilliantly next to the torches and other decorations, snacks stashed about. Everything was set up by, 'The Host.'
Whoever they were.
"Well, I say we get into our costumes before the Host shows up. You know, surprise him by getting set up in our spoopy costumes," Lysa suggested.
Comet stood up.
"Good idea. That way when they arrive, we'll be ready for the festivities."
~~~
Silver kept her eyes shut, bating her breath.
She felt her own warm breath on her face as she cupped her hands around her eyes, hearing shuffles of footsteps.
"Ok, you guys ready?" Asked a voice.
There were scattered mumbles of agreement.
"Ok..." Papisuu counted down for the invited.
"Three...two...one."
Everyone opened their eyes, and everyone gasped. The participants all stood in a circle in the dining hall.
Each girl was dressed in a Halloween costume.
Everyone exploded with expressions and looking around the room at the others. Silver laughed.
Silver herself was wrapped in foil, attempting to be The Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz.
Across from her, apersonofboredom dawned a red flowing cape behind her, along with a navy red pullover sweater.
Phoenix had on a tan hoodie with caramel splotches and a pair of matching ears. Silver smiled. An ocelot.
Kendall, standing next to Phoenix in the circle, was basically the opposite, dressed in a werewolf sweater.
Rush had on a simple black hoodie with black pants and shadow-tipped cat ears.
Whiskers drawn from Sharpie spread out from her nose to her cheeks.
Investigator was – appropriately – an investigator, in a flannel over-her-head...thing, with an underneath puffy-sleeved shirt and cap.
A small fake smoking pipe hung from the shirt.
Papisuu just had a sweater full of meme faces.
"Really?" Aranna commented, unimpressed.
Papisuu nodded. "This is Halloween on a budget, okay?"
Fangirl had painted herself black and white, her long thin brown hair now painted with streaks of grey.
Crystal had on a pair of angel wings and a small halo attached. Her long white gown draped over her shoulders and onto the floor.
Comet was dressed like a banana of all things, her brown hair falling overtop the neck-hole, her dark blue eyes scanning the room.
(...neck hole? lol i dunno)
Silver just suspected that her olive dark green hoodie was stashed away along with her invitation in her backpack.
She looked over and, sure enough, her backpack was in the dining room with them, stashed away with all the other backpacks and other things.
Aranna had a simple patched up shirt, with slightly baggy pants and her face painted green, with a fake cardboard nose.
Meant to represent a zombie villager, Silver guessed.
Lysa had on a school girl's outside, a fake black wig lying messily on her head. Fake blood was soaked into the outside and on Lysa's face.
Liv was also an ocelot, but instead of a pullover hoodie, much like Phoenix's, was instead, her light blonde short hair popped over an ocelot onesie.
Finally, Dawson had on an overly-large sweater, all black, with bones stretched out like a skeleton. A small orange cape hung from the back.
"It's supposed to be Papyrus," Dawson explained awkwardly. She then excused herself to the bathroom to grab something.
(Yes, I was Papyrus for Halloween ^_^)
Everyone commented on each other's costumes, until eventually Papisuu quieted everyone down.
With complete silence, Papisuu smiled suddenly.
"We look fabulous!" She announced.
Everyone laughed.
After Papisuu's comment had dispersed, the doors to the giant mansion opened, and everyone's heads turned.
Three figures came and closed the giant doors, shivering.
Papisuu's mouth dropped.
Stacyplays, Stampycat, and LDShadowlady.
The three entered the room, the cold lingering on their faces. Stacy shuddered and leaned against the door.
Sure enough, all three were grasping cream-colored envelopes in between their numb frozen fingers.
Dawson emerged from the bathroom, holding a small stuffed beagle lovingly.
Crystal looked at her with an odd expression.
Dawson blushed.
"Don't judge me, She mouthed.
"Ok, Papyrus," Crystal mouthed back.
Dawson emerged, then turned and saw all of the youtubers standing in the oak opening.
Dawson's eyes widened.
"Guys!"
Dawson waved at them, relieved.
The three turned to her.
One of them had dark brown hair in a low ponytail, a bowstring strung over her back, with a striped blue-and-white t shirt stung with snow.
The second had light pink hair, hanging down to her back in different shades of coral and rose. Underneath her small navy coat was a school-girl like outfit.
The third was hiding behind the two, but smiling kindly. He was wearing a light orange pullover hoodie with a cats shout at its top.
The three shared warm smiles with the small girl.
"Hey Dawson," The brunette greeted.
"Do you know what we've been invited here for?" Asked the girl with the dyed hair, leaning forwards and showing her envelope.
Dawson shook her head.
"I have no idea."
Then...without any warning...
...all lights suddenly dimmed, turning the pale marigold orange into darker shades of cider and bronze.
The shadows from the dimmed lights cascaded onto the sandstone, turning the tan colour into cider.
There were slight murmurs and ripples throughout the group.
The older girls stayed calmer while the younger smaller girls were frozen, eyes widened and paralyzed like deer in the headlights.
Suddenly, there were large clunks of a...stage-light...no, tons of stage-lights, turning on at once, coming from outside the dining room.
Everyone turned.
The group clustered together like origami shards, moving like a sea or ocean, clustering over where the noise came from.
Everyone clustered around the birch staircase.
Two small stage-lights taped to the wall were shining, sending cascading shadows down in the dimming lights of the mansion.
The prismarine lined the bottom, with birch and oak planks just under the red rolling carpet that rolled out into the hallway.
Everyone stared up to where the many lairs of twisting stairs went; to a small rounded balcony, in the shape of a circle, looking over the main entrance.
Suddenly, the spotlights turned on.
Dawson stumbled backwards slightly.
Stacy gasped audibly behind the group as everyone's eyes widened at the face staring at them from the rounded balcony.
At the very top of the thin steps was a figure, with red hair, moon glasses, a navy blue beret, and a small calico by her side.
She had on (presumably, for her Halloween costume,) a 1920's look, with a knee-length white tank-top and a cream white fur coat.
She swooped her arms, the fur on her coat rippling slightly like the sea. Instantly, with the quick swoop of her arms...
all lights came back on.
The giant crystal chandelier had the lights shining around it, lights everywhere coming on and sparkling around the mansion.
Everyone's jaw dropped slightly as the girl stood in the balcony, looking over everyone from the rounded balcony.
"Ah! Good day everyone!" The girl announced in a roaring voice, obviously trying to imitate the accent from the 1920s.
(also, as Rush had noticed, that she was trying to ever so slightly imitate Joey Graceffa in some way...)
Stacy, Lizzie, and Stampy's jaws dropped behind everyone else, eyes widened, faces turning pale. Lizzie found her voice first.
"I-isn't that...?"
"I hope you all enjoy this celebration," She continued in the same British booming voice.
Her arms still stretched out, her smile still wide, eyes shining, she waited for a response.
No one said anything.
Still smiling, her fur coat washing away in the overabundance of lights as she suddenly stepped onto the wooden carved balcony.
Without warning, she jumped down onto the floor, in front of everyone, causing everyone to stumble backwards.
Her legs buckled slightly before she stood straight up, hands in the air, as she yelled with a slight stutter,
"Welcome to the Mansion Celebration of 2016!"
She then turned around, obviously surprised she had stuck the landing. She then turned to everyone and smiled.
Then it happened, all at once...a rush of relief. So this was their host. Just some quirky redhead, kind enough to invite them here.
Not some psychopath.
The unease melting from the room, everyone applauded the owner's landing.
The girl flushed and brushed away strands of hair from her face.
"Gee, thanks!" She complimented.
"I didn't even think I could do that!" She turned around at the steps, like she was looking for some paranormal way she could've done it.
However, Stacy, Stampy, Lizzie, and Dawson all stood there, frozen, mouths open slightly, soaking everything in.
Cassie Rose.
The owner turned to the others and explained in a muffled voice that food would first be served in the dining room.
Her eyes then met with the youtubers and the small girl. On instinct, Lizzie pulled Dawson close to the youtubers, shielding the younger girl.
Cassie's eyes widened as a glow spread over her face.
"Oh...hi..." After a moment of silence, she smiled.
"You came! I can't believe it! Wow, I-" She rubbed her hand on the back of her neck, stuttering slightly, then blushed and beamed.
"I...uh, I uh, have some, hah, explaining to do."
Stacy exploded.
"YOU'RE ALIVE!!"
"Hah, yeah, I'm alive!"
"We-we thought you died!" Stampy spluttered, shaking.
"Nope! I survived, hah..."
Cassie walked towards the four, then promptly shoved them all past the entrance, back into the dining room, the lights dimming back to normal.
"I'll explain later, I promise," She said to them, closing the doors, then swiftly walking towards the kitchen.
Everyone turned to see the youtubers pale faces.
"What's wrong?" Papisuu asked, sitting up.
Stacy's face went white.
"Cassie's the murderer of this mansion."
Everyone's eyes widened. They all looked towards eachother, and there is was again...that lingering feeling of unease.
"You mean, a couple weeks ago, when you guys were being killed off...that murderer was her?" Silver asked.
Stacy nodded.
It had only been a few weeks since, 'the white pumpkin,' had killed in the mansion, but the uneasy feeling remained.
Suddenly, Cassie came back out of the kitchen, holding a tray of pumpkin pie and clusters of vanilla cookies.
Stacy glared at her.
"Ok Cassie, fess up, what's this about?" Stacy questioned, her fists clenched, even though the others could see her visibly shaking.
And who could blame her?
She had been trapped in a mansion, watching other die, then escaping with nothing but emotional hollow scars.
Then she finds out that murderer is alive and acting like nothing happened.
Along with the others, they were all basically broken.
That would absolutely be sure to make someone feel...off.
Sympathy melted into the guests like sea-water.
Cassie put the tray of pie and cookies on the table and sighed deeply. She looked at the youtubers with concerned eyes.
"Well...I thought that I'd..." She sighed. "...See, it took forever to get out of the trap I fell in after I faked my death..."
She paused, her face flushed.
Silence from the guests.
"...I climbed up to the top, managed to get back here, and I became consumed with guilt...I killed people...just because I wanted to go back home..."
She eyes fell to the floor.
"...So, I thought I'd throw this party for you and others...to...apologize."
Stacy was completely abashed.
The small calico mewled.
"A-apologize?" Lizzie stuttered, mouth open.
"Oh-ho!" Stacy's face turned red with anger, rose streaking across her face, replacing the white texture that had dotted her face.
Her fists balled up angrily.
"If you even think we would even consider forgiving you, then-"
"Stacy," Stampy consoled.
Lizzie sensed Stacy close to the brink of exploding, and pulled on her friend's shoulder. "Stacy, please calm down.."
"She killed Dan and Sparklez!!" Stacy spat.
She spun around to her friends, where meanwhile Dawson had slumped to the wall in bewilderment, pale eyes.
"Don't you feel used!?" She whimpered.
Lizzie and Stampy shared a look.
"Stacy...please.." Stampy begged.
"I'm so sorry Stacy," Cassie said from behind her. "I just wanted to get home so badly...it just clouded my judgement, ok?"
Stacy spun around as her hands turned raw and red. She spluttered random sounds of frustration, then stopped.
"Well, you know what, Cassie!? You-"
Stampy suddenly ran in front of the two.
"CAN YOU TWO PLEASE JUST CALM DOWN!?"
And then the lights shut off...
