I accidentally deleted this chapter, and the sequel's gonna be coming soon so let's do this ^^...again...

(also because i'm bored and i thought this would be fun..)

- This book is HEAVILY influenced by minecraft story mode, if I didn't make that clear..sorry. But I did include basically only episode 6 of the game.

If you haven't played the game you might not get like, 90% of what's going on, but I tried to make it fun enough and easy enough to understand, hopefully.

- This book was ALSO heavily influenced by The Hunger Games and Escape the Night, two books/shows that I ADORE TOO MUCH. Seriously.

- Cassie Rose is probably my favorite villain of all of them (although both PAMA and Aiden are growing on me,) and I really wanted to flesh out her character. I feel like her story needed more of an arc since, apart from the first episodes of both minecraft story mode seasons, episode 6 of season one is my absolute favorite episode. She really needed more time to shine.

I felt really bad for her at the end of episode 6 when she has to fake her own death just to get away from the angry youtubers, and I wanted to give her a character arc, because I loved her adorable awkward personality at the beginning of the episode.

I really wanted to also explore her insanity and why she chose to do what she did.

- This book takes place a few months after the events of episode 6. Just watch that episode on youtube and you should be set ^^

-In the second book, Cassie is gonna be less of a main character than in this book, but she is still one of the main characters. And she will play big roles.. ^^ don't worry.

-The first five participants are some of the first friends I made here ^^ the rest are ones I've made by having a love of story mode.

-I made this a murder mystery since episode 6 was the game that got me into murder mysteries. Actually, it really got me back into murder mysteries.

-There are many escape the night, hunger games, and FayeofThunder's book hints in here, like Silver guarding, the slang that the killer uses, and just some overall phrases that the characters talk about.

-The comment on AWU is also a reference to Rush's book in the people whose OCs were in the book wanted to know what happened next. We're waiting, Rush.

- Phoenix's/Haru's character or OC is apparently dating another mcsm character named Gill who constantly yells out, 'Blaze Rods!' so I decided to make it Phoenix's ring tone. Also, I believe that Haru is non-binary but I don't know don't quote me on that.

-Silver, Investagator, and Dawson are the youngest. Apart from the Youtubers, Papisuu, Fangirl, Phoenix, and Rush are the oldest.

-Those who don't know this book exists who is in the book are Silver, Fangirl, and possibly a few others...and the youtubers, of course.

-Lizzie is alive in this book instead of Dan because when I played episode 6 I chose to save Lizzie instead and Dan got stabbed with an axe.

-The three at the end of the book are mcsm's main characters, Jesse, Petra, and Lukas. They were in the 6th episode of the game and played a big part in the Youtuber's murder mystery. They're supposed to be a quick cameo but kinda ended up being a bit eh, I guess.

- In this book Dawson was such a big background character, so I'm making her more of a main character in the second book . Much more. And Dawson is my account persona, if you haven't guessed. She'll have much more of an arc in the second book.

The mansion's design is drastically different from the mansion in the actual game. I'd like to assume that Cassie fixed up the place. She has a kind of love-hate relationship with it, but

- Investigator's flood/fire backstory will be MUCH more heavily explained in the sequel, and it will actually play a big part in it...

-The youtubers tell the others that it had only been a couple of weeks since Dan and Sparklez had died, but it had been months since then. They just didn't want to worry the others.

-I mostly listened to podingtonbear, Christ Zabriskie, story mode music, and dewdrop fantasy while writing this book..

-Every person I put in this book is somebody I've made friends with and know really well.

-The sequel will only have a few of the original participants, I'm sorry! But it will be explained and you may just come in later on...and they will be HEAVILY IN BOOK THREE.

-The cover was made by periwinkleteapots ! She is amazing! I'd really like for you to make the cover for the sequel if you read this, and I love this one as well! ^^

-I like to think of this series as Escape the night-in a way...as it's being filmed, but no one knows what's going on.

Some of it's scripted, some of it isn't, and no one knows what's gonna happen..but this'll be kinda but way more obvious in book 2. Basically, THIS BOOK DID HAPPEN AND IS, 'canon,' BUT IN MY MIND, the guests were approached and asked to make a movie re-telling of what happened to them. I have a lil' mini-series in my randomness book about it, but yes, this all did happen.

Okay moving on.

-The name for the sequel is gonna be, 'These Games we Play.'

- The sequel takes place about a month or two after the first book.

- The old participants will also be in the new book, but eight additional new guests/participants will join them on their adventure deep within the depths of the mansion....

- The sequel will be IN A NEW MANSION. NOT IN CASSIE'S. CASSIE'S MANSION WILL PLAY SUCH AN IMPORTANT ROLE AND AHH I'M SO EXCITED TO CONTINUE THIS SERIES.

- The sequel will be more inspired by Escape the night, mainly because it's a great series, the characters are fun, the plots are amazing, and the deaths made me sad for....until now. Still sad. Still not over a lot of people.

- The new mansion will be very colorful and broad, will gold and white and fern green plants, aquamarine aquariums, big giant walls of birch, oak, and cedar wood that the guests don't know if it's actually wood or not. It'll have bunches of more rooms, and have a much more interesting plot. The new plot will be more involved and interesting and even mysterious at times, and you don't know everything right away. Behind every door might be a new adventure, but getting back and home safe will be the problem...

Sorry, went into Author mode for a moment.

- Rushdall was basically started because Rush and Kendall shook hands, and by Aiden law, Aiden (who will also be a new character in the book,) decided to ship them. It'll be much more prominent in the sequel.

-I promise to make the second book a great adventure with plot twists, turns, beautifully done character development, quests, much higher stakes, an interesting villain, redemption, shipping, and so many bad puns..

-In the sequel, I want to have the characters interact with other people in the mansion much more, work together and work well off one another, as well as solving puzzles and adding extra quirks; I wanna use your guys's OCs so much more!

- Originally, I was gonna tone down Investagator a bit but decided to go all out for the climax. Likewise, I also toned Cassie down quite a bit...I wanted to make her more like her old MCSM counter-part, you know..when she was pretending to be nice and all of that. I'll have her be quite a bit more snarky and manipulative in this book's sequel, however.

-Josephine (Investigator's lil sister,) is VERY MUCH ALIVE AND might appear in the third book but I dunno yet.

-Dawson has known Papisuu and Boredom the longest, since she was little, and the two often act like her mothers, which make them act like wives, which is definitely a fun experience.

-Investagator and Cassie will have a good heart-to-heart in the next book, and a lot of their backstories will kind of unfurl. Dark turquoise-sickly green swamps, running, and fire. That's all I'm gonna say. Also some weird mind-bending puzzles.

-A new character in the book will be named, 'Newt.' and will be quite quirky and interesting to the plot.

And that's it!

Okay, so...here...I'm gonna go and tell you guys some, but not all, of the new participants....but only their roles...

..and in a weirder way, to keep it more secret.
