Chapter Three
Error's POV (while Inky was watching him.):
I quietly hummed as I finished reading a book called 'Ella Enchanted'. I closed the book and looked at the roof, noting that it is 5 minutes until we meet up. I stood onto my feet and opened a portal. On the other side was a large library I've gotten used to again after so long of being away. I walked in without a second thought, quickly seeing Ink.
"Hey, Error!" Ink chirped, skipping towards me. "I just got here. You?"
"Same." I smiled back. "I'm going to return this book before I headed over."
"I'll walk you there. I'm still getting used to the layout though." Ink said as he stopped bouncing and starting to rub the back of his skull.
"Even after five months of us coming here?" I teased and started walking on the wooden floor. Ink jogged up to me as we headed to the front desk.
"It's not my fault it's so large!" Ink whined as I laughed. We talked about random stuff as we slowly made our way to the front desk. Once we arrived, I saw Lunar close a laptop and give us her full attention.
"Morning Error! Morning Ink!" She chirped as she scanned the book.
"Morning Lunar!" Ink smiled widely.
"Morning Lunar. Writing again?" I greeted the female multiverse traveler.
"Always. Finished schoolwork this morning." She smiled kindly as she started to type on the old PC.
"Anyways we have to head off to meet up with the group. Cya!" Ink said.
"Bye! Also, you guys might want to change your names so you don't accidentally mix up your nicknames for your other half with your family." Lunar suggested. Ink froze at us being called family but I didn't react.
"We'll keep that in mind. Thank you and cya later Lunar!" I waved goodbye as Ink caught up to reality as we headed to our table.
"Did you notice that she called us family?" Ink asked me as we walked passed hundreds of books at a time.
"Yeah but at this point, are we not? We're all rejected and there for each other when need be. So are we not family by this point?" I hummed as I scanned the colors each book has and how it blends in with the darkly colored wood.
"True. I guess I'm just nervous since nobody has ever called me their family before." Ink offered a smile.
"Well now your apart of ours and you can't ever leave." I chuckled, causing Ink to laugh.I was about to mention the names when we arrived at our group's table.
"Sup guys!" Ink greeted.
"Heya." I smiled at the group. We received greetings from them all as we sat down in the wooden chairs.
"By the way, Lunar mentioned about us changing our names so we don't get confused with our multiverse inhabitants." I brought up, starting to sub-consciously play with my jacket's string.
"That sounds like a great idea!" Blue chirped, eye sockets full of happiness.. Everyone else nodded in agreement.
"So should we do names that are similar to us or full-on new names." Dream asked, hopping down as he mentioned full-on new names and posed like a super-villain. I laughed with the others.
"Maybe we should stick to similar names so we don't get too confused," I suggested.
"Okay! Then I wanna be called Mirage!" Dream, now called Mirage jumping up and down.
"I'll be Illusion then." Illusion smirked as his tentacles waved passively.
"I'll be Smalt! It's a shade of blue!" Smalt cheered as Cross got out his phone.
"Out of all these synonyms, I like Ford the best." Ford who was previously known as Cross stated with a small smile.
"I'll be Virgo!" Fresh, now Virgo cheered.
"Hm... How about Void?" Abyss offered.
"That sounds great!" I responded, watching my family choose new names.
Ink chose Roto, Geno After, Killer Slay, Stretch Carrot, Classic Proto, Red Crimson, Sci Savant, Horror Fright, Lust Passion, Reaper Demi, Dust Soot, Razz Malbec, Boss Edge, G Echo, Dance Prance, Outer Space, Chess Shoji, Thorn Glo, King Shift, Alter Modi, and Epic Flown.
"Hm... How about Misprint?" I asked nervously as I moved my hand from my jacket string to the edge of the zipper at the bottom of the jacket.
"That sounds great! So that's it?" Modi questioned, wanting to confirm.
"Yeah, I think that's all of us." Proto hummed.
"Great! Also, we need to look for another place to hang out because of this table is too small." Shoji chuckled nervously as he sat on to of the table.
"Okay! You guys can look in here tomorrow and Misprint and I can look around the multiverses!" Roto chirped.
"Sounds good!" Passion smiled.
"I'm glad it's tomorrow since we have to get back." After notifying us, gesturing to Void and Vigro.
I said goodbye to my family as they slowly left to their multiverses, most in groups seeing as they share a multiverse. I got up from my chair and left to the Anti-Void so I could destroy and damage AU's all night to prevent Inky from a creation spree while I'm away.
