We get to the border of Silverbeam were met by Alpha Issac and his dad. Plus I knew we were being surrounded. We look beat up. We still smelled heavily of smoke.  Jarrett and I walked up and I said, "we are Garrett and Jarrett Butler. We are alphas from the MoonValley Pack. We lost everything in the recent forrest fire and have been traveling for days trying to find a new place to set up our pack.  We have been turned down by several packs and attacked a few times by rouges. We were told to come here, but will want you to know we are being hunted by the hybrids that attacked your betas."

Alpha Issac looked over and saw many pups and she-wolves. He saw warriors surrounding them but looking wore out. He had already heard about them heading his way. "I knew you were coming. My future brother-in-law, Conrad told us. We were told you had a few Lycan with you, but I don't see them.

"They met up with Alpha Conrad and were briefing him about our trek here about a mile from here. He said he expected us a few days ago and was unhappy we had to do a do a 250 mile detour around packs who refused to let us pass through."

"We will let Conrad deal with them because those packs were to let you through on behalf of the council. It is a Lycan's job to deal with this. Most are smaller packs and most likely afraid of what will happen to them. They know what happened to 4 packs being displaced. Plus how Riverbend pack was destroyed. The other three packs around you decided to head away from this area. They were going to take sanctuary with an Alpha Jonas and Alpha Christian on the west coast."

"Those two Alphas we have met," said Alpha Garrett. "Their packs were part of the fire brigade. They were very friendly and generous Alphas. They helped us clean up before we started heading this way. We spent the next week boxing everything we could salvage and placing  them in pods. We had them stored  before we left to head this way. "

Alpha Jarret, "we ended up having to move at night and carrying our young and pregnant she-wolves. Our allies refused to let us borrow their busses to come here. Since most of our IDs were lost or heavily damage we were unable access our pack money."

Alpha Garrett adds, "we went to our banks we have been going to since we were pups and they never asked for our ID before, but was told their bank recently merged. One new policy was 100% ID had to be used  and any employee not doing this would be fired and publicly whipped."

Alpha Jarrett, "Another policy implemented was new IDs had to be put in place before they would allow access to the online accounts."

"Alpha Garrett, "we could not even open a new account and transfer money to new accounts because transfer policy is must have two forms of ID to prove it is you. Basically every way we tried to access was blocked with a new policy."

"One of the Lycan's used his card for the pods and the pods are being sent to Silver Heart Pack where his family currently live with the Lycan.  All the sudden his accounts were frozen too after use."

Alpha Jarrett added, "we need to let you know that we just recently found out we have some Elemental skills. Plus we have 6 elemental pups that we are foster parents for since their parents died at the forest fire. It is because of us being elementals the hybrids want us dead."

"We feel it is the hybrids who took over our banks. Since they defeated the Riverbend Pack.", Alpha Garrett adds.

Alpha Issac replies, "We as a pack are still offering you sanctuary. I have other twins with elemental capabilities here with us. Two of them include my sister's pups. Plus we have been told my own twin sisters will have elements once they shift. It is our sisters who are Alpha Conrad and Alpha Conway's mate. As a pack we have pledge to help them build a special school," says Alpha Issac. "You and your elemental will be able to attend if you choose to learn more about your element."

"We will think about," they reply.

Alpha Issac says follow me, "we can talk while we head to the clinic to get everyone checked over."  They nod and start walking with alpha Issac.

"We will send council and the Lycan to the bank. We will have your money transferred out within an hour of them arriving. We also will demand a full audit of every account. There is a reason only certain banks where wolves can use. Those banks cannot transfer leadership without going through the council. Who operated your bank?"

"It was Riverbend Pack , but we don't know who owns it now they have been destroyed."

"If there are no living pack members it goes under council ownership until the council puts someone else in charge. Then all members have to be sent a hard copy letter, posted on their website and posted in council news. Give a chance for any survivors to claim and take over the bank."

Garrett replies, "look no farther.  We have the Riverbend's alpha  daughters, 2 nieces and 2 nephews with us. The Alpha's daughters saw her brother, mother and fathered killed. They are the pups I am fostering."

"Their case should be easy to prove them. Until they come of age will you stay their guardian?

"Yes."

Issac continues, "We went through this when we took over what is now silver dawn and silver heart packs. Their one family link was declared incompetent, traitor to the council and has a kill on sight order. They are not eligible to inherit. Since I did the final death strike I actually won those lands, but I am giving them to my younger brothers."

We are about 1/2 mile from the pack hospital. We can worry about all the money later." He points to an entrance to the side of the pack house.  "This is where we will have each member enter for their exams. Have all injured ones go in first. As they leave  they will be handed a snack and drink.  We were told not to offer any food or drink in case lab work or surgery is needed."

We continued walking and Issac says, "After the doctor says your ok you will be given a snack and drink to tide you over until lunch. A runner will guide individual families to the shower. Their is jugs of shampoos and body wash in the shower.  Everyone will be handed two towels per person to take into the showers to clean up. There will be robes for all pack members to put on. We have hampers there for all dirty clothes to be placed in. Then in the training rooms we have tables with bags on it. Each table is marked in various sizes. It goes from 3 months up to 4x. Each bag has in it 6 pairs of socks, 3 sweat pants, 3 sweatshirts, 3 tank tops, 3 T-shirts and 3 shorts.  Plus each bag has a toiletry set- 1 hairbrush, 1 comb and 1 tooth brush.  The left side is male and the right side is female. The female side also includes 3 sports bras from woman size small on up.  We have tables with diapers, pull-up and wipes.

Once you have claimed your bags we will have you give your belongings to  your assigned runner. They will go drop it off at the area your tent will be at.

Once your runner has take  off you can follow the  purple marked trail that will take you to the chow hall where we have  a buffet being set up for you all to eat. It should be ready about 12:30 or 1:00.

As you finish eating there will be a map that shows where everyone in your pack is staying. Your tents will be set up later today.

When your family is done eating you will walk out the door. Your runner will meet you there.  He will guild you down the pink path to help select the tent for you."

"Once we have our new pack built we will pledge to help you," Alpha Garrett said. "Plus will reimburse all you spent on us."

"We will worry about that  later. We have prepare temporary accommodations for you until we can get the permanent ones arranged. Now let's get the doctors checking you over doctors first.

Alpha Issac starts to walk toward the door leading to the hospital wing but no one is following him. He turns and says, "injured ones first."

One of the pack mom's says, " we know our Alphas are injured. We cannot go until they are looked after first."  Many others are nodding their heads.

Alphas Garrett and Jarrett look over their pack and they used their alpha tones, "let the pups go first."

One of the pups step forward and walks to Alpha Issac, "this is your land? "

Issac replies, "yes it is."

"You have power over us and our alphas since we are guest?"

"I can have it, but I try not to use that command on my guest."

"Please don't make us go before our Alphas. We were taught at my school, 'the strength of the wolf is the pack. The pack is the strength of the wolf. You let your strongest go first to insure all is well. You need a strong leader to ensure the strength of the pack.'  We all saw those vampires and rogues attack and bite our alphas before our Alpha, Lycan and our warriors killed them.  How can they be our strength while that poison is in them?" He looks the pup in the eye and you can see the pup is in pain and biting his quivering lip.

Alpha Issac then looks at Alpha Garrett and Alpha Jarrett and replies, "this young pup is wise beyound his years. I command you two to go in first, " and Alpha Issac catches the pup as he clasped in his arms. He picks up the young pup and follows behind the other two Alphas.

Garrett grumbled, "will you let us go join our pack?"

The young pup who also has an IV in him says, "yeah our pack needs us. don't they Alpha Garrett?"

The pack doctor looks at these two, "Alpha Jarrett is taking care of things. You two are being treated for your vampire injuries.  You should of had a medic treat it right away. A few more hours you would of died."

"I been taking the anti-venom medication until I ran out two days ago. I figured I was strong enough to get here and get treated."

The young pup said, "yeah, I am strong like Alpha."

The doctor just looked at Alpha Garrett and replied, "as a leader it is also wise to lead by example. Next time being strong and not getting treatment might lead to someone's else death." He looks at the young pup and guilt crosses his face.

Then Alpha Jarrett says, "I am sorry young one. I just realized I don't know your name. Who are your parents? I pride myself on knowing all pack members, but I cannot place you."

"Oh I wasn't part of your pack"

He looks puzzled and says, "whose pack are you?"

"Yours."

"How can you not be part of my pack but now are?

"Because you and Alpha Jarrett said, "Do you young pups promise to follow me and my pack?"

"I then replied, "I do."

"Then you said, "We promise to protect and give you sanctuary until you're old enough to take over your pack."

So I wasn't part of your pack but now I am. That means I don't have to follow uncle James any more because you are now my Alpha. It means he cannot command me to do bad things and beat me when I refuse."

"Do you know where your uncle is at?

"We stayed in caves where the land bubbles and blows up steam. We eat wild bison, goats, grizzly, elk. We see wolves there but was told they forgot how to shift.

He linked his brother and said, "tell Conrad to search Yellowstone Park."

Elder Alpha Ezra says, "Your family will stay at my former son-in-law's  house. My daughter finds it painful to stay here. There is plenty of rooms for your parents, sibling, foster children and grandparents.

We followed them and there a couple Decagon Modules Tents setup and we see two she-wolves and a male wolf standing by two different set ups. We stop by them. "This is my Luna Lucinda.
And Elder Luna Donna. This is Alpha heir, Jacob of Blue Moon Pack. He is Alpha's Issac younger brother. We would like the she-wolves with families to step foreword. The Luna will show the set up so each she-wolf can decide how many tents they will need to accommodate their families. We recommend one for the parents, then siblings to have 2 or 3 girl pups and 2 or 3 boy pups per room. We also have nursing tents that can hold 1 or two pups under age 3.  It is up to the mom to decide does her 16-18 year old daughter stays with them or the other singles their age. All 16 years on up can go to singles area upon parent approval.

There will be some warriors who put together these tents all the time. Before anyone gets upset. Female warriors will assist the she-wolves. Male warriors will assist the males.

Afterwords all male wolves with families will go in with my brother, they will decide how many modules  they will need.  These current modules are set up to accommodate 10-15 wolves. There will be 2-3 single wolves to share a bedroom. One set up for females and one set until for males. We can make more setups for them.

Then Elders we have set up 10 tents thus far. One with a main room and attachable bedroom.  We have Elder Brent and Elder Emily show to those tents. If all Elders will go rest at the picnic tables off to the side they will be here soon. They were adding final touches to your Alpha's and Elder Alpha's home. That house will be used as your pack house for now.  Would like to remind everyone the home that you are using was their twin son's home. Give them respect and sympathy for their loss.

We have extra sleeping bags in our supply shed. If you find your short one or have extra bags go there. We figured this could work until we could set up better accommodations.

Jarrett says, "We are not sure what to say. We had many packs turn us away. Thank you. We cannot take your beta's house though. We will stay with our pack."

Elder Alpha Ezra looked sad for a moment, "their house is currently empty. Their sons were the ones killed by bear shifters about 4 months ago. Their mate, my sister and her one year old twin girl pups are currently living  in another house. She has another pup recently born and she said to use it. This house has too many memories for her."

"We are sorry for your loss."

He nodded in acknowledgement. "We have a few spots nearby we think could be used to set up a new pack at. Once everyone is rested and recovered we will take you around to view those areas."

One day this week we are going to let the pack loose at the mall. We will load up the busses. We will share more details with you. We have opened a credit card in your pack's name. You can use that until your money is transferred.

We also worked on what we wanted for our pack house.  We had not decided where it will be but the design we will be working out."
