Your the shy girl type and you never thought Raven Reyes the badass genius to take a interest in you but she did. After awhile she wants to break-up, readers okay with this but ends up finding out Raven started dating someone else right after they broke up, so she writes a song about how she feels.

You never though that someone like her would even give you the time of day, but she did and you guys were happy or at least you thought you were.

"Look [Y/n] I think we need time apart, please forgive me I-"

"Raven" I stop her before she can finish. I stand from where I was sitting from the couch I walk towards where Raven is standing "there's nothing for me to forgive, your doing what's best for you" I say putting my hand on her cheek "I hope the world treats you well, I love you Raven Reyes." I say kissing her cheek walking out of Ravens house.

I walk to my car and drive home I don't cry, because you believe Raven will come back to you. Or at least you thought she was.

It's been a two weeks since Raven broke up with you. Your walking into school when you see her leaning against her locker closely flirting with Finn Collins. You freeze as Finn leans in and kisses the corner of Ravens mouth. He walks away and Ravens left there with a small content smile on her face. You  close your eyes willing away the tears, you hurriedly turn around deciding not to go to school today. You text your best friend, Lexa Woods, telling her your not feeling well and you won't be coming to school today. As your drive back home. Your father is out of town so you just go upstairs to your room and cry.

That week you didn't go to school, to heartbroken realizing your four year relationship with Raven was actually over. That week you spent your time in the recording studio your father had made you for your music. You were always to shy to tell anyone about it only your father knew of your musical talents. Like usual you wrote a song to make you feel better.
•Later that day•
The whole gang was at Grounders, the food & bar place with live music.

You enter in and are greeted by everyone asking how you feel. Raven wasn't there. You look at Lexa having a silent conversation with her asking where Raven was. She gives you a look, one you know you won't like the answer so you shake it off.

An hour later your laughing at something Jasper said. You look up when someone slides in next to Anya. You realize it's Raven and Finn. They're holding hands.
You clench your jaw. You've had enough of this. It's been three weeks, THREE WEEKS! And she's already dating someone else? Your stand up and walk to the stage, your talk to Jasmine the DJ and ask her if you could perform a song she says yes knowing you because of Lexa.

"Please don't suck." She mumbles to herself.

You turn your head and see the group looking at you confused. You sit at the Grand Piano they had on the stage.

You start playing the piano introduction to your song. You just stare at the keys while you sing.

As you sing the last line you look up and notice everyone's looking at you listening. You purposely don't look in Ravens direction.

You continue on but instead you close your eyes making sure you can hear your emotion through the words you sing.

Your voice breaks in the 7th and 8th verse. You open your eyes and stare just ahead at the wall not turning to look at the pair of brown orbs you can feel burning into you. You play a little bit before singing again.

That I don't spend with you
I'm wondering who you lay next to

I'm jealous of the love
Love that was in here

You look up as you feel your eyes start to burn during the 6th verse so you sing looking up for the rest of verse 7 and 8.

I then look back down at my keyboards after verse 8 and continue singing passionately.

I decide to finally look into those beautiful brown eyes I fell in love with I see her watery eyes. I stare at her as I sing the rest of the song.

I sing louder and more passionately in the last part of the song still looking into Ravens eyes.

I looked down at the keyboard making sure I hit the correct keys. I quickly look back at Ravens eyes singing the last part of the song slowly and painfully emotional.

"It's hard for me to say, I'm jealous of the way
You're happy without me."

As I finish I see everyone start to clap. I smile shyly at them and thank them. I walk back to our group table. It's silent at first before Octavia starts firing questions at my like. 'Why didn't you tell us you could sing' 'did you write that song' 'when did you learn to play the piano' 'What other instruments do you play' and 'did anyone else know she could sing' I answered all of the questions with a smile on my face.

I look at Raven and see her looking at me with sorry looking eyes. I give her a smile and mouth 'it's okay' to her.

I walk to the bar and order something to drink. I feel another presence approach me. The girl is breath taking.

"Hi." She says with an slight Israelis accent. 

She literally knocks the breath out of me. She has to be about 5'10 I have to look up at her even with my 5'7 height.

"Hey." I choke out after a moment

She chuckles and my heart does a flip "Your really good up there." She nods towards the stage

"Thanks." I say blushing

She orders a drink. So I take my moment to look at her. She has darkish brown hair a little ways down her shoulder and dark brown eyes. She's wearing a loose shirt that shows a bit of cleavage and black leather pants that hug her body very well.

I'm startled at my gawking from a throat clearing. I look up and see the beautiful women looking at me amused.

My face turns red and I stammer to apologize.

"No, don't apologize. I think your very beautiful." She says the last part in a seductive whisper and she leans on the bar making her cleavage show. I try not to look but my eyes have a mind of there own. I look up and I see her raising an amused eyebrow. I squeak when she comes closer to me and puts her hand in my back pocket.

"Call me sometime." She says up against my ear in a whisper that makes me shiver.

She turns but before she could leave I grab her wrist making her turn. "I-I'm [Y-Y/n] by the way." I say she smiles at me that men and women alike would go to war for.

"I'm Diana." And with that she leaves me and a drink I didn't notice I had received alone.

I walk my way back to our table amazed at what just happened. I sit down in the Booth and pull out the piece of paper Diana slipped into my back pocket.

'Call me ********** xxx - diana' it says
I smile at that

"You okay [Y/n]?" I look to my side and see Lexa asking me

I grin at her "yeah I couldn't be better." I say

With that without me knowing was the first day I met the love of my life, but that's a story for another time.
