Leon x Reader

⚠️ anxiety attacks, throwing up ⚠️

This was it. The crowd cheered around me. I heard one side cheer for Leon, the other cheering for me. It was almost too much pressure. I made my way to Leon, looking nervously up at my friend from childhood.

Leon started talking to me, but I couldn't hear anything he was saying. Every word was muffled. My surroundings started to get blurry. My anxiety began spiking as my eyes were glued to the crowd. I gulped heavily as Leon stopped talking and brought out his first Pokémon. I hesitantly got out mine.

My pokemon gave me a worried look, but knew what had to be done. Leon smirked and told his Pokémon to use a certain move. Aegislash obeyed his master, sending a powerful attack at my Pokémon, making my Pokémon faint almost instantly. I began sweating. My vision blurred again. I stumbled back, nearly falling. I felt hot. Leon noticed my sudden hesitation and softened his gaze.

"Y/n?" He tried to get my attention. Anyone could hear the concern lacing his voice.

"The challenger seems to not be feeling well! The battle has been temporarily stopped!" The referee called out.

"N-no! I'm fine! I can continue!" I stuttered.

Just like that, the battle continued.

The crowd cheered more. All I heard was high pitch buzzing.

Mid way through the battle, I had fallen on my knees, then collapsed. My vision went black. The last thing I saw was Leon running to me.

The referee sent a medical team to cart me off the field, Leon and his Aegislash following close behind.

"Will she be okay?" Leon asked, worry written on his face.

"She will. We are bringing her to the locker room to relax. She's having an anxiety attack. It looks like she wasn't fully healed from Eternatus attacking. Not surprised she fainted." The medic said.

Leon's demeanor changed at the last part.

"Excuse me? This is Y/n we are talking about. The only challenger to make it to the finals! The only challenger strong enough to challenge me, the champion! Who are you to say it isn't a surprise she fainted just because she has bad anxiety? Anyone fighting Eternatus and getting injured in the process, then challenging a strong opponent is practically prone to passing out from pain and peer pressure." Leon growled at the medic, who gave a scared expression before leaving the room.

It was just Leon and the fainted challenger.

"You should have listened to me. I warned you that you should recover before battle. Especially an opponent like me." He said softly while brushing my hair out of my face. My eyes opened and I realized I was laying on a bench. My head was resting on something soft. Upon looking at what it was, I realized it was Leon's thigh. Leon made sure I wouldn't sit up.

"Careful. You've passed out. I have some water and some jerky for you." He said gently with a smile. That smile...

I looked at the jerky and felt nauseous. I gulped down the bile rising in my throat and covered my mouth. Leon noticed the movements and recognized it. He sat me up and gasped when I vomited on the floor and a little a Leon.

"I'm sorry." My voice shook and I went to stand, but Leon had gently pushed be back down.

"Please, just rest. I'll clean this up." He removed his dirty shirt and threw it in a laundry bin. He grabbed a cloth and some soap and started to clean the floor.

My face was red. He looked like a full dessert just waiting for me to take a bite.

My eyes averted to his hips. The way they swayed as he moved.

"Sheeeeeesh."

"Ah, like what you're looking at, huh?" Leon smirked.

My face was RED.

"I-I- n-no!" Leon chuckled at my sudden nervousness.

"Aww, you don't have to be shy about liking me. Everyone already knows." He purred lowly.

I kissed his cheek and grinned. I felt a lot better suddenly.

Leon kissed me on the lips, hugging me.
I hugged him tightly and grinned.

"You don't have to battle me immediately, especially after the day you had yesterday. Your wounds are still fresh and need healing." He nuzzled my neck.

"Can we head to the hotel? I am tired." I yawned and nuzzled the champion.

Leon finished putting a clean shirt on and nodded.

"Of course! Need me to carry you?" He grinned.

"I think I can walk. I'll probably need to guide you to the hotel. You seem to lose it often."

Leon chuckled nervously.

"That's fair."
