Ryan Kelly #1
You auditioned to perform as a dancer with the Irish music group Celtic Thunder and are ecstatic when you're hired. During rehearsals, you spend time getting to know the guys in Celtic Thunder. They're all great, and you really like them. However, there is one of them who really piques your interest: Ryan Kelly.
When you were getting ready to audition for Celtic Thunder, you looked them up to listen to a few songs and watch some videos to get an idea of what you would be getting yourself into. From the beginning, Ryan Kelly was the one you were most interested in. He acts like the bad boy type on stage, which is why you're a little surprised by him when you meet him. Offstage, he doesn't seem as much like the bad boy type. You do get the feeling there's a little of that in him, but for the most part he doesn't act like it.
One of the songs you'll be performing in is "That's A Woman", which will be a duet between Ryan and Damian. The group has performed the song before, but it's both your and Damian's first time, so a few rehearsals are necessary. But during the rehearsal, you find you have a hard concentrating on what moves and steps you're supposed to take when. This is mainly because of Ryan himself; there's something about him on stage that you find to be distracting, and it's keeping you from concentrating from your role in the song.
Eventually, you get to a part near the end of the song where Ryan looks directly into your eyes while singing the chorus. You stare back at him, momentarily forgetting everything going on around you. Because of this, you trip and almost fall over, but Ryan quickly catches you before you hit the ground.
After that incident, you take a break from the rehearsal, and Ryan asks you, "Are you all right? That was almost quite the tumble you took there."
You nod and sit down. "I'm fine. I guess I was just...having a hard time remembering what I was supposed to do when."
"Ah. Nervous?"
You nod again. "Yeah, I was."
"Well, there's nothing wrong with that. You know, we performed this number at our very first concert, years ago. I was nervous back then."
"Yeah?" Looking at him now, you can't imagine him ever being nervous about anything.
"'Course I was. It was our first show, and we didn't know how well it would go over. We've come a long way since then, though. Don't worry, we'll get this one right."
He walks off to talk to Damian, probably about the number. You stare after him, wondering how you'll ever be able to concentrate on dancing in a number involving Ryan Kelly.
