The Avengers were in trouble with the government. They weren't one hundred percent sure why, but they were pretty sure it had something to do with all the destruction they had caused.

 "I don't get it," said Tony, who was at the head of the group which was shown into the government building. "Why can't Ross just leave us alone and let us do our jobs? We've saved the world how many times now?"

 "I think he's just concerned about the damage," Steve replied. "I would be if I were from the government."

 "Well, you and I think very differently, Rogers."

 "Hey, um, maybe we should save the debate for later?" Bruce suggested, trying to get in between them. "You know, for a time when we're not in hot water like we are right now?"

 "You know? I'm gonna go with Banner's idea," said Tony. "You and I will talk later, Captain."

 The Avengers were shown into a meeting room, where another group was already sitting at the table.

 "Sorry. We must have the wrong room," said Steve. "Come on, guys."

 "Actually, I think you might be in the right place," one of the men said. "You the Avengers?"

 "Yes, we are. Who are you?"

 "The Justice League."

 Tony scoffed. "The Justice League? What are you, the government's replacements for us?"

 "No, we're not," the man replied. "It seems we're also in some trouble with international governments, just like you guys. We've heard of you, but you apparently haven't heard of us."

 "Well, who are you, then?" Natasha asked, eyeing these people suspiciously.

 "We would prefer not to tell you our real names, but I go by Superman. And these other people with me are Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg."

 Bruce snickered. "Superman? That's actually your name?"

 "Well, I got to go with Banner in this one," said Tony. "You guys don't seem all that scary, you know."

 "Well, neither do you," replied the young man who apparently was Flash. "I mean, what exactly do you guys do?"

 "We serve justice," Steve replied. "We've saved the world from multiple evils before."

 Tony rolled his eyes. "And here we go with the speech. You guys also have a speech about you save the world all the time? Because if you do, we're out of here."

 "Just a minute." The only woman at the table, assumedly Wonder Woman, got up from her chair. "Don't you see? We're all the same kind of people in the same kind of situation. We've all been summoned for important reasons, so we may as well wait here together."

 Steve nodded. "I agree with her. And I'm the leader of this team, so come on, everyone."

 Everyone grabbed a chair and began to wait in a awkward silence, given that no one really know what two superhero teams would have to say to one another. Someone would probably try starting a conversation, but it would probably turn into either more awkward silence or a fistfight, and no one was really in the mood.
