The entire Cullen household has been frantic so much so these days that it feels as if it's becoming the normal, everyday routines of the family. At least that's how it feels to you, but you think everyone else must feel that way, too. 

 Your brother Edward recently married Bella Swan, now Bella Cullen, the love of his life. They were married and went on their honeymoon, and after that you thought everything was going to be fine, until it wasn't. Edward and Bella rushed home in a hurry after discovering Bella was pregnant. None of you knew it was even possible for any vampire to have children, so everyone was clueless as to what to do. It didn't even seem likely that Bella would survive the birth. 

 On the night of the birth, Edward and Bella's daughter, little Renesmee Cullen was born alive and well, much to your relief. You got to hold your baby niece is her arms soon after she was born. Thanks to your sister Rosalie, you haven't had much time with her since then, but you don't mind letting Rosalie have the time with your niece; she was passionate about the coming of the baby from the beginning, and like Bella she never had any doubts about Renesmee's birth. 

 Though your sister-in-law came close to being beyond saving, Bella has been in her transition to become a vampire since very shortly after her daughter was born. It's kind of funny, you think, since Bella seemed pretty sure the baby was going to be a boy. But you saw her face when she saw her daughter for the first time, and you know then when she wakes up she'll give Renesmee all her love. 

 Edward has hardly left Bella's side since her transition began. She probably won't wake up until the transition is over, so when she opens her eyes you'll know it's complete and she's become a vampire. You've watched your brother sit alone, waiting for his wife to come back to him. 

 You've sat with him a few times, and this time you say to him, "It'll have to be soon. She's gonna come back to us." 

 "I know she will. But she's not going to be the same, Y/N." 

 You give him a surprised look. "Of course she won't be the same. Changing from human to vampire changes a person." 

 "Exactly. She'll still have her old personality." He pauses. "She should. But the clumsy, awkward human Bella is gone now. I doubt I'll ever see her again." 

 "No, probably not," you agree. "But she's still here. The Bella you fell in love with and who loves you will wake up sometime soon, and everything will be fine. You'll see." You wrap your arms around him and rest your chin on his shoulder. "Everything will be fine. I know it will be." 

 He leans his head gently against yours. "Thank you, Y/N." 

 The conversation ends quietly, and you both continue waiting.
