In your time working at the ABC Café, your friend Cosette has come in a few times to see you and talk to you. If she ever does come in, it's usually because of Marius Pontmercy, whom she's had an ongoing romance with. She always anticipates seeing him, and you can't blame her after seeing how much they cared about each other. They seem like a practically perfect couple. They never seem to be mad at each other, and you've never heard them argue, not once.

 But that changes when Cosette walk into the café one day looking very upset. She walks up to you and asks, "Y/N, can I speak with you, please?"

 "Of course," you answer. "What's happened, Cosette? You look very upset. Have you been crying?"

 "Oh, do I look like I've been crying?" She reaches up and touches her face. "Perhaps I was. I don't remember. Oh, Y/N, I feel absolutely horrid."

 "Well, here. Sit down." You bring her to an empty table and pull out a chair. "What's happened to upset you this much?"

 "It's Marius," she says. "He and I had a terrible row. A lover's quarrel, I suppose it was. Well, I don't like getting into rows, especially not with Marius, and arguing with him upset me enough that I ran away from him. Oh, dear, I think I was crying. Suppose I got too upset over some silly trifle. Would Marius think I'm silly?"

 "I don't think he would think that," you say. "He's very fond of you, and I'm sure he'll want to apologize for his part in your row."

 She nods. "Perhaps I should go find him. I should apologize, too. I don't remember who started the argument, but I think it might have been me."

 Before she can get up to leave, Marius himself enters the café, and hurries over to your table when he sees Cosette.

 "Cosette! I've been looking for you," he says hurriedly. "Please, Cosette, let me apologize. I said things I shouldn't have said, and I hurt you. I'm sorry."

 Cosette smiles and nods. "So am I. Please, let's try to have as few arguments as possible from here on." She stands and pulls him into a hug, and she gives you a smile.
