You're very excited to be starting at Auradon this year. You've never been to a school like this before (or anywhere quite like it, really), so this is an entirely new adventure for you. When you arrive, you soon learn that everyone seems to be connected by a famous parent. You yourself are the daughter of the notorious pirate Jack Sparrow, and you wonder what others will think of that, and of you. 

 After arriving and beginning your classes, the first friend you make is a boy named Carlos, the son of the villain Cruella de Vil. But you can tell from your very first conversation with him that he is completely different from what you've heard about his mother. You were a bit nervous at first about making a new friend, but after you begin to hang out with Carlos and his friends, that nervousness begins to go away. 

  During your first month at Auradon, you and Carlos become good friends. As you begin getting closer, you feelings for him begin to grow. He doesn't show signs of wanting to be anything more than friends, but that could just be because you haven't known each other for long. You've had never had a boyfriend before, and you start thinking more and more about how nice it would be to have him for a boyfriend. 

 While you're getting close with Carlos, you also spend time with his best friends; Mal, Evie and Jay. They were the first students from the Isle of the Lost to attend Auradon, and have been at the school a bit longer than you. They all previously had trouble trying to fit in with everyone else, and they were all welcoming to you when you first met them. But you begin to get the feeling that they know about your growing feelings for Carlos. There's something about the looks that have passed between them whenever they see you and him together. You wonder if any of them have told him.

 On one afternoon when you all supposed to hang out together, everyone else made excuses and disappeared, leaving just you and Carlos in the group. 

 "That was a bit strange, wasn't it?" you remark. 

 "Yeah, it was. You know," he continues, "I think they did that on purpose." 

 "On purpose?" you repeat. "Why do you think they would do that?" 

 He shrugs. "Well, they seem to want us to be by ourselves." 

 "Oh." You slowly turn your gaze away from his. "Well, what do you think they're thinking?" 

 "Well, that's not hard," he says. "They must have figured we're really into each other and want to give us some time to ourselves." 

 You feel your face begin to turn a bit red. "Well, that was...thoughtful of them, I guess." 

 "Yeah, I guess so. So, what do you think?" 

 "About what?" 

 "About this," he says. "You know, I am starting to really like you, Y/N. Why don't we take advantage of this and hang out together, just us?" 

 You turn back to him smile, realizing he must have the same feelings you do. 

 "Yes," you answer, and hold out your hand. "That sounds perfect."
