2 males. 2 females.

4 crystal gems.

The four were brought into the beach threatening to take over Beachcity. This threat has been used before against the gems, but they were gonna do whatever it took to make sure there we justice, and everyone in the town was safe.

Garnet was fighting two, Pearl and Amethyst were going after the other two, and Steven was trying to help best he could.
When it looked like the enemies were going to get close, Steven protected them with his shield, or a shield bubble.

The fight lasted for only 5 minutes, and the enemies were already getting worn out. Weird.. usually gems lasted longer in fights, but none of them noticed this fact.
A few punches were thrown from Garent's Gauntlets, Amethyst's whip, Pearl's spear, and Steven's shield..

They all were down.

"We did it! We saved Beachcity again!"
Steven cheered, but the Gems didn't cheer along with him. "Guys? What's wrong? We just beat there butts! We should be celebrating-"

This.. had to be a mistake.

The people they have just beaten.. who threatened to destroy Beachcity, they were bleeding.. all of them. Blood was spewing out of there chests, heads, and there bodies were bruised all over.

"What the.."
Amethyst mumbled, she noticed red on her whip instead of the beautiful purple..
"They weren't.. gems?"
She mumbled.

"Garnet.. when you received the threat you didn't CHECK IF THEY WERE GEMS?? WE JUST KILLED HUMANS?!"
Pearl yelled, getting close to Garnet's face.

"When I received the threat it didn't occur to me."

"THATS YOUR EXCUSE?"

"PEARL! WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?"

"I WANT TO KNOW WHAT WAS GOING THROUGH YOUR MIND WHEN YOU STILL ORDERED US TO ATTACK WHEN YOU WERENT SURE THEY WERE GEMS!"

The both of them argued, while the other tried to get them to stop their dispute.. leaving Steven alone with his thoughts.

..
Why did this happen?
How did Garnet not notice? Did she know but still wanted to attack? Was it all a mistake?
Can they still receive help? Can he save them with his healing spit?

Tears fell down from his eyes, he fell to his knees..
Sobbing. But his sobs weren't heard.

He just wanted to be comforted.. he wanted to feel like a normal kid..

It made him wish he never was a gem in the first place.

~End of Dream~

"AH!-"
Steven bolted up from his bed, he looked around. Everything seemed to be okay, it was quiet, he could hear soft crash's of waves from the ocean.

So that was all a dream?
Steven sat up, he could feel tears start to well up in his eyes again like he did in the dream..
'*hic.. *hic*..' he mumbled, bringing his knees to his chest.

"Steven? What's wrong?"

It was Garnet, the other gems were behind her as well.
She sat on the edge of his bed, "Did you have a bad dream?"
Steven could only nod at the moment.

"Awh.. what's got you so freaked out little man, you wanna talk about it?"
Amethyst cooed.

It took a while, but Steven nodded.
"We.. W-we kwilled humans.. it was scwary.."

Pearl gasped,
"We what? Steven, I can reassure you that kind of situation would never happen in years!"
Her tone almost sounded like she was offended, but she truly was trying her best to sound reassuring.

"What Pearl is trying to say is that we wouldn't let that happen ever, Steven. I can reassure you."
Garnet patted his head, but Steven was still scared.

"It fwelt.. so rweal though.."
He cried, the gems frowned.

Steven would regularly have nightmares from time to time, it caused him to regress almost every night. But this nightmare seemed to take the cake for the little guy..
Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst all felt bad for him.
So naturally, they were willing to do whatever it took to make him feel safe, reassured, and get him a good night rest.

"Hey, do you want some chocolate milk, Steven?"
Amethyst asked.
Steven perked his head up a little bit, and nodded with a small smile, Amethyst smiled back before going down to get the milk.

"A-and here, I'll try to find your favorite stuffed animal, I'm positive you left it in my room last time you had it."
Pearl left as well to go look for the stuffed animal.

Garnet reached out her arms for Steven..
He looked up at her, and smiled before leaping into her warm and comforting embrace.
She rubbed his hair and started humming sweet melodies into his ear.
He recognized the song, but he was too sleepy to sing along with Garent. His eyes started to droop, the final tears from his eyes fell, but he didn't feel scared anymore.. he felt comforted, warm, and happy.

"Oh?"
Garnet stopped her humming to the sudden snores, it made her smile. She kissed Steven's head,

"Goodnight Steven, sweet dreams.."

ITS SO GOOD TO BE BACK! I MISSED YOU ALL SO MUCH!!
