Y/N was feeling different when it came to being in his headspace. Usually, he fell into the headspace of a toddler, even sometimes getting up to 6! But for some reason today, he felt smaller..?

Your ability to walk was partially gone, only being able to wobble around places, your words came out more as lisps, and what you didn't like the most..

"Nu!! I no wan'!!"
Y/N was wiggling like crazy on the floor, he was laying on a changing mat. Loki was currently trying to change Y/N but he wasn't having wearing padding in the least.

Loki sighed,
"I know sweet boy, I know.. but you're feeling younger, remember? Mama needs you to wear this so no accidents happen."
She was holding out a diaper with a small pattern of bears all different colors. No matter how much the colors mesmerized the little one, he wasn't going to let the garment be put on.

"But.. Bwut.."
Tears started to fill the littles eyes, "I nwot a bwaby!!"

Loki frowned and picked Y/N up, rocking him near her chest, "Darling, wearing this doesn't make you a baby. Peter's headspace is four, and he wears them sometimes right? Does that make him a baby?"

He thought for a minute, and soon shook his head.

"See? So why are you so embarrassed, darling? It's only me."

Y/N blushed, "I no wan' ou to 'augh.."

Loki kissed the little ones cheek and smiled.
"I'd never laugh at you darling, you're my sweet baby boy.. I would never do anything to hurt you."
She placed Y/N back on the changing matt, "We don't have to if you don't want to, but are you ready to be changed?"

Y/N took a deep breath then nodded.
"I weady.."

"Good boy."
Loki kissed your forehead again, then started getting to work on changing you. He gently took off your pajama pants and slid off your training trousers.
She held your legs up with ease, placing the cotton garment under Y/N.. it felt like a cloud.

She rested his legs down again.
"You're doing amazing baby. Almost done."
Loki brought the diaper up to your waist, she twisted it around a little asking you if it was comfortable where it was. You nodded.

"One tape,"
Loki taped on the first tab,

"Two tapes,"
She did the second one,

"What number comes next, baby?"

"Hmm.. 'ree?"

"That's right! You're so smart, muffin."
She taped the third tab,
"Annnnd, four."

Loki sat you up on the matt.
She smiled at you overcoming something you feared. This kind of stuff was going to be different since it wasn't anything you were used to, and Loki understood that. She wanted to be patient and understanding as much as possible.

"See?! You did so well, baby!"
She brings you in for a big hug, Y/N giggled like crazy.

"Hehhehe! I dwid it!!"

"You sure did darling, mama is so proud of you."

She quickly snapped the buttons back on your onesie then picked you up, "Let's eat breakfast, yeah? Im sure my baby's tummy is so hungry~"
She said in the most baby tone she could manage, your face started to turn a bright pink. But you couldn't deny you were really hungry. But why did mama have to be such a tease?!

After breakfast Y/N and Loki decided to watch some TV for awhile. He put on We Bare Bears for you. It was a show about three brother bears going on daily adventures with each other, the panda bear was
Y/N's favorite! You giggled endlessly whenever that bear came up on screen.

"You like that bear, don't you sweetheart?"

Y/N nodded, babbling some gibberish as if he was explaining why it was his favorite.
Loki chuckled, "Really? That's lovely, darling."

Knock Knock

"Greetings Brother and Little Y/N!!"
Thor boomed through the door, he opened it without being welcomed in.
Y/N peeked his head over the couch and gasped, "BABA!!"

He jumped off the couch and went to run to Thor, but once he started running..

THUMP

It was like his legs were like Jello.
Loki and Thor ran over to you, your caregiver brought you into his arms.
"Oh baby, are you okay?"
Y/N shook his head rapidly, "M' wegs.. ucky!"

"Is little Y/N okay? He usually loves running around, did he get injured or hurt?!"
Thor asked worryingly, Loki shook his head.
"No brother, he's just feeling younger. His body isn't functioning the same like it usually would, I believe."

"Is that so?"

Thor bended down to Y/N's level, "Young Y/N, if I may?" He held out his arms for the little, Y/N peeked over to Thor.. he soon let out his arms and went to Thor. Loki was kind of shocked how fast you left his arms.
"What are you doing?"

"I just wanted to see if this theory could be proven."
Thor walked you over to the other side of the room and stood you up, he held the littles arms to help support his body. Despite that Y/N's legs were still wobbling like crazy.

"Okay, bubs. I am going to help you walk towards Bubby, you think you can do that?"

He shook his head, in all honesty he didn't know if this was going to be achievable.. he was scared, what if Bubby laughed at him? What if Buba would get angry?

"It's okay darling, you can do this. Buba is going to help you, you're safe."
Loki held out his arms for his little one. It made Y/N's eyes sparkle with hope.

"O-Otay.. I gwo!"

Thor grinned, "That's the spirt, Y/N! Off we go!"

Thor moved one foot forward, but Y/N didn't. He was struggling to move his body forward like Thor was doing, it made him whine.
"It's okay, little one. See what buba's doing?"

He moved his leg back and forth, "Can you try to do that too?"

"..I twy?"

Y/N tried to muster up everything in his right leg to try and move, his leg felt like so wobbly.. but he managed to move it on his second try!
"Excellent work, Y/N! Now try with the other one." Thor demonstrated how to move the left leg, and you did so with your left.

"Okay, do you think you can do it on your own? I can still hold your arms, but do you think you can walk to bubby?"

Y/N had a determined pout. He wiggled from Thor's grasp and after awhile was let go.
But as soon as he was released he fell on the floor, his legs weren't used to the feeling just yet.

Thor picked him up again and placed him on his feet, "It's okay, try again."

"One step.. two step.. one step.. two step.."
The thought kept repeating in his mind. And just like magic his legs started to move forward, wobbly, but forward none the less!
Loki clapped for you, "That's it baby, come over to bubby." He cheered, you giggled happily. Bubby was so happy! He could also hear Thor's roaring cheers behind him, but he didn't let that distract him.
He kept on continuing the pattern over and over.

And once he was near Loki's knees he leaped into Loki's welcoming arms.
"You did it baby! Bubby is so proud of you, you did amazing."
The God of Mischief started kissing Y/N gently all over, it made the little one giggle endlessly.

"I knew you could do it!" Thor ruffled Y/N's hair, "Shall we host a celebration for, Y/N? I think he has deserved it!"

Loki chuckled, "No, no.. yes, this is worth a celebration but perhaps a celebration between just us three? No need for big crowds."

"Nonsense! But, if that's what you wish, then I suppose so."
Thor rolled his eyes playfully then sat down on the couch. Loki put his attention back to Y/N, "What would you like to do, sweet pea?"

"We 'o get cweam?"

"I don't see why not, would you like to join us brother?"

Thor beamed, "Would I?! I'd loved to! It feels like so long since I've had the frozen treat."

"Looks like we're going then, baby. Let's go get you dressed and ready."

"Cweam Cweam Cweam Cweam Cweam CWEAAAAMMMMM!!"
Y/N was bouncing up and down in Loki's arms, it's been such a long time since you've been out for ice cream with bubba and bubby!

"My my, so excited are we baby?"
Loki cooed at you, you nodded furiously. "I 'appy!!"

Y/N was in a hoodie and some sweatpants, underneath he was still padded since you were still young. Thor was in a very large hoodie and some sunglasses, he didn't want to be recognized today, not that kind of day. Loki had on a suit,  your bubby always loved dressing up! He also had on some very cool sunglasses.
All of this was so you guys wouldn't get pulled over by some news interviewers or paparazzi. Those people were everywhere! Especially in New York. Almost everyday someone from the Avengers team would be followed back to the tower with a group of fans on their tail.

"We have arrived!"
Thor boomed, his eyes were sparkling with joy once he was near the door. So did yours, "Bubby I wan', I wan' Fwive fwavors!!"

Loki shook his head chuckling, "No baby, you're only allowed one flavor, one scoop."

"Nwoo fwair!! Bubba gwets to hwave fwive!"

"That's because Bubba loooooves to show off, such a show off Bubba is, isn't that right Y/N?"

You giggle a bit, making Thor gasp. You and Loki gaining up on him? He felt betrayed!

"Hmph.. and to think I was going to let you have at least one sample of each.." he faked sniffled.

"Sowwy Bubba! Nwo swad 'ease."
To the best of his ability, you blew him a small air kiss. He smiled and pretended to catch it, he patted his chest. "Now I have your kiss forever, little one."

"Hehe! Yway! Bubby gwet one too!"
You kissed Loki on his cheek, he started blushing a bit. "Why thank you, sugar. That was really sweet of you..however I will not be outmatched!!"

Loki started giving you butterfly kisses all over your face, you squealed with joy.
"BUBBBBBY!!" You giggled, you were being a squirmy wormy in his arms. But it wasn't the little ones fault! It felt like he was being attacked by kisses!

"Alright, alright. I think it's time we finally go in. Let's go team."

All of you walked out of the ice cream shout with one thing in each of your hands. Thor stayed true to his word at got a total of six ice cream flavors on a small waffle cone.
Strawberry Sorbet, Sherbert, Blue Moon, Blueberry, Lime, and Orange Sorbet. A little weird combination- but to Thor it was literally the best thing in the galaxy.

You on the other hand held a cup filled with (F/I/C/F),  the worker gave you a biggggg scoop!

Loki also got a single flavor in a dish, it was Cookies and Cream with chocolate chips. One of the things he got hooked to on Midgard was chocolate!

All three of you sat on a bench at the park, Loki was almost done with her ice cream, so she rested hers on the bench and gently grabbed yours from your hands. She grabbed the red plastic spoon and got a generous amount on it, "Do you what choo choo or butterfly?"

" 'Oo 'Oo!"

"Alrighty darling, here comes the choo choooo! Woo woooo!"

You opened your mouth happily as Loki guided the spoon to your mouth, you felt content with the small scoops she gave you at a time..

Being regressed younger was pretty hard, and different to get adjusted to. But with every new experiences comes something good, something special.

You wouldn't trade these little moments for the world
