5 Days Left.

There was only 5 days left until your best friend, Sunny, had to move away from your guys' home town. When Sunny and Mari broke the news all of you guys were heart broken. All of you had practically grown up together!

But moping around wasn't going to do nothing, Y/N thought. So Y/N called Sunny to have a little day, so they can spend some of their last moments seeing each other, little!
Sunny agreed happily when you asked.

And it was now that day. Mari and Sunny's parents were out running errands out of town. Sunny said that you guys should hang out in the treehouse, to relive memories, Y'know?
And that's exactly where the two of you were now!

Sunny was in a white shirt with stripes, wearing black overalls as well. The type of overalls where they aren't long legged though since it was still Summer. And you were wearing (F/L/C,) with your companion (S/N) with you.
The two of you were sitting in the treehouse with blankets, cookies, juice boxes, coloring books, and even a tablet if you two wanted to watch movies.

...But something was off?

Sunny wasn't saying anything. You weren't either, only because you didn't know what to say. It was kind of an uncomfortable silence because of how much tension you could feel.
But after gaining some courage, you said,

"What shwould we dwo fiwst?"
You asked, sounding excited. You were doing a little wiggle dance because you were so excited!

Sunny shrugged, "I no know.."
He wouldn't meet Y/N's eyes. You tilted your head in confusion, "Are you Otay?"
Y/N scooted closer to Sunny.

At first Sunny didn't do anything, they just kept looking down at wooden floor.
"I.. I swad. I no wanna mwove away."
They muttered, Y/N could see the tears welling in Sunny's chocolate brown eyes.

"I sowwy.. I know we are gwonna have gwood time. I stwill wanna! B-bwut.. I fweel sad."

Y/N appreciated Sunny's honesty. To be honest, he was feeling pretty sad today himself. Scooting closer to Sunny, you rested your head on their shoulder.
You didn't really know what to do in situations like these.. you never really had to dealt with something like this, especially when little.

But there was a feeling calling out to you. A feeling that told you that Sunny deserves to be happy with their final days here at Faraway Town.
"..It Otay to bwe sad. I swad too."

He went closer to Sunny, but this time, he wrapped his arms around Sunny to give him a hug,
"Pwease nwo cry. I will stwill be able to swe ou when I no have scwhool! 'member? Wike-Wike on Summer Bweak! I cwome swee ou for a mwonth, then I gwo back hwome."

Sunny smiled a bit,
"I rwemember.. I hwappy ou can vwist."
He went into your kind embrace, a small tear drop falling from their eye. It was like a mix of emotions, sadness, scared, but a little bit of hope too.
Hope that things will be okay in the future despite the bumps in the road.

"Bwut hey!"
Y/N pulled away from the hug and placed his hands on Sunny's shoulder with a huge grin, "Twurn the frown upside down!! Lwets have some fun!"

Sunny giggled,
"Mhm.. lwets have fwun Y/N!"

"We Bare Bears!~ We'll be there!
A wink and a smile and a great old time
Yeah, we'll be there!
Wherever we are
There's some fun to be found
We'll be there when you turn that corner
We'll jump out the bush
With a big bear hug and a smile
We'll be there!"

The two of you decided to watch some TV on the tablet! We Bear Bears was your first choice, Sunny agreed to watching it. The both of you had Orange Juice boxes and some cookies in case you got hungry.

"Dwid Mari mwake these?"
Y/N asked between chewing, crumbs were flying everywhere.

"Mhm! My swissy mwade them for us, shwe said we should only ewat 2, if we ewat more we might gwet tummy ache."
Sunny informed, taking a bite of a cookie with a big smile.

"Hmph.. fair. I nwo wan twummy ache."

Y/N rested the half eaten cookie on his napkin and stood up, stretching his legs and arms a little. It was kinda cramped in the treehouse!

You peeked outside the window and gasped, it was practically almost sunset time!! Which meant..

"SWUNNY LWETS GWO PWAY OUTSIDE!"
You shouted excitedly, doing a small little happy dance.

"I wan watch bwears."
Sunny stuck out his tongue to you.

You gasped again, but more dramatically this time.
"We Cwan watch bears later!!"
Y/N walked over to the ladder and started to climb down, "SUNNY CWOME ONNNNN!"

"Nwo."
He said it plain as day with an evil grin on his face.

Your face started to get red with frustration, "SWUNNNY!! CWOME ON-"

Slip!

"AAAAAAAGHH!"

CRASH

Sunny gasped and went over to the ladder, he saw you laying there in shock. You weren't moving. He couldn't read your face at all.

"Y/N..?"

Sunny went down the ladder and went to you urgently, he looked you in your eyes with fear and worry.
"Y/N..! Pwease wake up!"

And that's when it hit you. Y/N felt like his soul finally came back to his body, but that also meant all the pain crashed to you all at once.
"Ow.. owie..owie!!"
Y/N cried, tears falling down his face in a matter of seconds.

"Oh nwo! Pwease no cry..!"
Sunny was scrambling around the ground thinking of what he could do. Mari wasn't here, and Hero wasn't here! The usual babysitters that made the booboo's go away weren't here!!

But Sunny was determined to help you! With a determined pout he quickly climbed back up to the treehouse and got a pillow, your stuffie, and a juice box. He threw it all down to the ground before climbing down again.

Sunny grabbed the pillow and gently picked up your head, it made you sob louder from the sudden touch.
"Nwo nwo.. it's gwonna be Otay! I pwomise."
Sunny figured that is something Mari would say if he was hurt.. he was a fast learner!

With wobbly arms they rested your head on the pillow. He then went back and grabbed your stuffie, holding it in his hand, "Y/N, Mr (S/N) sways your gwonna be Otay!" Sunny made the stuffed animal bounce around.

It caught your attention, your cries transferring to sniffles, but tears were stills falling down slightly.
"Mr. (S/N) sways that.. that I has mwagic to make or' bwo bwo's fweel better."

"..Rweally?"
Y/N whispered. Sunny nodded.

"Mhm! I gwive special kisses to mwake them feel better. My swissy gwave me that special power! All Y/N hafta do is twell me where your bwo bwo is."

Sunny could make the ouchies go.. away?

Y/N with all the strength he had pointed to his head, "Mwy hwead.. it fweel Ucky."

"No worry, I fwix it bubba."
Sunny scooted over to where your head was resting, and started giving you small kisses all around your face. That wasn't where the pain was, but it still tickled! His kisses felt like butterflies touching your face. To be honest, this didn't really make your head pain go away, but.. it did feel comforting. That Sunny was there and that he cared.

His kisses came to an end, and Sunny was now blankly looking at you.
"..Dwid it work?"

Y/N managed to let out a small giggle, "Y-Yweah.. thank ou."
You tried to give him a hug but your body was still sore. Y/N laid back harshly in pain.

"Nwo nwo..! No get up!"
Sunny patted Y/N's head, "We stay here. I gwo get another pillow and we watch TV! ..Is thwat otay?"

"Yweah.. that's pwefect."

Sunny gave Y/N one last kiss on his cheek and rushed off back to the treehouse. Y/N watched them climb the treehouse ladder slowly.

As time when on the sun started to go down, you and Sunny started to get more sleepy. Which resulted in you guys sleeping on the soft grass with pillows beneath your heads.

Mari came home and found the two of you, she thought it was adorable how you two were having a play date together. She called the gang over to help bring the two of you in, and they did.
Mari and Hero tucked you guys in Sunny's bed, it was big enough for 2 people so it ended up being perfect!

Despite the day going by fast, you had an amazing day with Sunny. You were hoping they thought the same..

You were going to make the most of these short 4 days.
