Once again, a trial had been set in place. The 4th one ever since this school trip had began.
And every single time it was Hajime Hinata everyone relayed on to reveal the truth.

What if he didn't want to reveal the truth? What if he didn't want to expose his friends? What if he didn't want to do this game at all? Why couldn't it be someone else?!

His body was overwhelmed with fear and anger. His eyes filled it tears, his body shaking, his palms feeling more moist as the endless seconds in the court room goes by.
He stared into the eyes of the person he loved, the person he cared about, the person who gave him the hope and courage to keep going..

That person,

Gundham Tanaka,

Had just committed murder.

"H-Hajime! How could you accuse Gundham of doing such acts!"
A Princess shouted from across to court room. She looked as scared as Hajime. "This isn't right! Hajime! You have to be wrong!"

Hajime couldn't speak.
His mind feeling overwhelmed.

How could Gundham do this?
Gundham and Hajime swore to make it off this island together, no matter what it took.

"Sonia, please, It is quite alright,"
He chuckled, "My time has come. I'm ready to accept my fate."
His words were straight forward and simple. But Hajime couldn't except this.

"After all, I can't really die. I am Gundham Tanaka! I am Histories Greatest Villain, I'll fill hell with TRUE hell!"
He did his malicious laugh like usual.

"How is he playing this off like everything's fine..what is he doing?!"

"Oh gee, Tanaka! You seem to be taking this like a champ! Puhuhuhu~ I respect that!"
Monokuma's obnoxious laughter filled the room.

"Gundham.. what the hell are you doing?!"
Hajime pounded his fist into the delicate wood of the court stands, his knuckles already turning a deep red color.

"Why are you playing this off like you don't care..? I-I!!"

"Hush now, Hajime."
Gundham took a deep breath and went to where Hajime was standing, he gently gripped Hajime by the shoulders.
He smiled a charming grin.

"Hajime, listen to me. I'll be okay.. you'll be okay. My time on this earth is at is end.. and that's just how it has to be, little one."

Gundham brought Hajime into a tight embrace.

"I know I've made promises I couldn't unfortunately keep.. I wanted to get off this island with you and the others, I really did. But.. I wanted you all to live. I needed you all to have food. So Hajime, I need you to do Gundhy a favor."

Gundham kissed Hajime on the forehead, Hajime could see the tears in his caregivers eyes.
"Live on for me. Okay? I'm not dead as long as you remember me. I'll always be here with you."

"Pwease no gwo!!"
Hajime whimpered into Gundham's shoulder, his tears were making a river it seemed like.
He could feel eyes on him.. he didn't know if they were of pity or of confusion, but he didn't care. He only cared about Gundham.

His mind kept telling him that this was all his fault. If it weren't for his objections.. if it weren't for him always taking the lead, Gundham wouldn't be getting executed.

"Dammit you guys.."
Fuyuhiko had his head down with a look of grief on his face.
Sonia was crying, Kazuichi looked guilty, Akane had mixed emotions, and Chiaki looked disappointed.

"Boohooho! What a SNOOZE fest! I think I'm calling it now! This is going to be the super ridiculously CRAAAZY punishment of Gundham Tanaka!!"

"Nwo!! Stawp it!!"

Hajime cried, he grabbed Gundham's arm with the best grip he could muster.
"Nuh-Uh..! Stway..!"

Gundham let out a shaky sigh,
"I'm afraid I can't do that, little one.."

"Let's give it everything we got,"

"Hajime, my dark prince,"

"ITTTTS PUNISHMENT TIMEEEE!!"

"I love you, I l-love you baby.."

And isn't he a fool to have,

Happily listened to all the times Gundham had comforted him throughout the scary and stomach turning nights.

He was happy to stay with Gundham, even through out both of their hard times.

Despairingly watching him drift away..
