Ok so a lot of people said yes. So I'm reviewing this. Danganronpa Eclipse was made by me, it's on my profile with the cover being Monokuma. If you somehow stumbled upon this after looking at the tags where this book is at, go ahead and give it a chance before reading this. To everyone else, thank you for being patient with my procrastination a*s.

So I decided to do something different from other Multi-Fandom Fanganronpas for the prologue.

Instead of waking up in a school in the beginning, we see the protagonist at home just vibing.

He leaves to go on a walk and f*cking gets kidnapped by shady folk. Wait not kidnapped since he claims that he's not a kid. Mannapped is more appropriate /j. This will make sense soon. (Also that was a reference to a fanfic I read. Kudos if you know which one)

So the protag is waken up by two people. One of them is a cat who talks and the protag is like: hold up!

Then the other person is like come on you two! Move it!

So the door is open and the three of them go and look for people. They find the gym and find the rest of the peoples.

Then Monokuma shows up and is like: aye wassup! Welcome to Eclipse Academy!

Wait so this is not Hope's Peak Academy? Nani?

Oooh lore!

Anyway no one remembers what their names and talents are and the protag is very confused.

And then Monokuma shoots him with a gun but no one dies (yet). But that's after informing everyone that they are in a killing game blah blah blah ya know ya know ya know. The usual.

Then gym empty and the two people who were with the protag introduced themselves.

Mukuro -Ultimate Solider

And

Leafpool -Ultimate Medicine Cat.

Also the protag gets introduced as well.

Tommy -Ultimate Streamer.

Now you know about the man-napped thing. C H I L D!

So the prologue gets expanded in many chapters because of my impatience a*s.

Solid cast. 8/10. I know where they are all from but some people don't but that's ok!

Then Monokuma gives them the rules near the end and yeah that's it for the prologue.

I feel like I made some of them a little out of character which is on me. My bad.

The art is decent, I could do better and improve but I'm stuck with that style until I learn new things. Don't worry, my art is fine I think. Not super lazy as it was with Into Code (my first Fanganronpa).

I write a lot and make things hard on myself. Which is no surprise.

A lot of references are on the nose like the photograph in Tommy's dorm. If ya know, ya know. But a good storyteller doesn't reveal their secrets immediately about their story. I tend to leave theories and speculations to the readers (to you Wisps).

I tend to not leave a lot of screen time for everyone (which is more of a problem with Into Code) and I have no idea why. Well for the daily life there are like five chapters with at least 1,000+ words each maybe less if I'm feeling for it. I'll try to squeeze in screen time for the others as much as I can if possible.

If you have more criticism to give me, I would gladly look it over and improve on it.

I may or may not be planning a sequel for Eclipse.

I have a problem with creating series for books while in their planning stage.

I wanted to reveal the plans for the sequel in later chapters but I'm like: nah how about now.

I'm not going to reveal the name or the protagonist now but I will show a small sneak peek on four of the planned characters. Well you're going to have to guess who is who.
