So, Uhm... All I'm saying there's vomiting and stuff in this so if that makes you as uncomfortable as I am writing this, then don't read bro.
Laf P.O.V.
I groaned, my face hitting the fluffy pillow that say on my bed. I had been going to school for less than a month and I hated it so much. Not much change from my previous years at school in France, but at least in France we got Wednesday's off!
"Hey, Laf. You doing alright?" I groaned, looking up at my dorm mate, Hercules. "I'm a broke as fuck college student. What do you think?" Herc held his hands up in surrender. "Alright. I'm ordering pizza. What kind do ya want?" I dropped my head back into my pillow.
"Cheese."

I woke up the next morning feeling like fucking shit. I stood, groaning tiredly and getting getting dressed before walking into the bathroom and making myself look presentable.
It was in the middle of my first class when my stomach began to twist and flip. I laid my head down, not giving a shit anymore as the teacher blabbed on about... Well, whatever she was talking about at the time.
"Mr. Lafayette." My head whipped up to look at the teacher as she watched me. "If I can't sleep, you can't either." I nodded before quickly getting up, leaving the classroom.
John's P.O.V.
I watched Lafayette get up and leave the classroom, glancing at Alexander, who only shrugged.
"Gilbert, get back in this classroom right now!"
I quickly pulled out my phone while Mr. Sneezey (we called him this because he was practically allergic to everything) was distracted with Laf, texting Hercules.
🐢:
Laf just ran out of the class
🐢:
I think he might be sick.
Hercules didn't respond, but that was normal, considering he was in the class with the strictest of teachers, Ms. Antoinette. She hated Laf with a passion, and as his friends, she seemed to dislike all of us. Well, all of us except Alexander, but he was probably the best kid in every class. All the teachers adored him, especially Mr. Washington. George was like a father to all of us, but, if I didn't know any better, I'd say George adopted Alex.
~Later~
Herc's P.O.V.
Lafayette never came back after class. Alexander and John met up with me in the library after class, and I promptly explained that I was going to go to Laf's dorm after classes (or earlier) to take care of him, but that I didn't want either of them getting sick and that I wanted them to bring me Taco Bell at six.
After classes, I made my way over to Lafayette's dorm, knocking on the door before entering. "Laf?" I walked to his room, glancing through the open door.
Lafayette's hair was down as he slept in his left side, facing the door. He looked like he had been through hell and back. Sweat beaded his face as he slept in what looked to be a sort of painful sleep. An empty bucket sat by his bed along with a glass of water.
I pursed my lips, watching his semi-peaceful slumber before stepping forward and gently placing my hand on his burning hot forehead. I retracted it quickly as he stirred slightly in his sleep, clutching onto his pillow tightly. The sight of him in such a helpless state made me feel upset. I just wanted to hug him and kiss him and tell him it's be alright.
I turned on a small fan next to him and tucked him in, gently kissing his forehead and sitting at the desk across the room.
About an hour later, Lafayette woke, promptly grabbing the bucket and, well, basically throwing his guts up. I moved over, pulling his hair back for him as he emptied his stomach.
He soon finished, setting the bucket aside and using a rag to wipe his face off. When he looked to me, his eyes were welled up with tears, his hair a fluffy mess, as well as sweat beaded on his face. "H-Herc?" I nodded, rubbing his back as he nuzzled his face into my chest, shaking as he sobbed.
"That bad, huh?" He nodded, not moving as I held him, gently kissing his head. "Oh, baby... It'll be okay."
Around five minutes later, I realized he had fallen asleep on my chest. I looked at him, sighing softly as I laid back, Lafayette's head resting on my stomach. I gently stroked his hair, watching him sleep in the same broken sleep as before, unable to sleep myself.
~Another time skip~
The day continued like this, Lafayette waking up to only rid himself of more stomach acid before sobbing due to the pain of trying to throw up what he didn't have and falling asleep again.
John and Alex came by with my food for a short bit while he slept.
"Are you gonna take him to the ER? Or urgent care or something?" John suggested.
"Well, I think he might just have the flu. All they'd do is have him take tests then give him some stupid pill that'll barely do shit. We can just stay here and have him rest and stay hydrated and everything should be okay."
Alexander stayed quiet, which was odd for him. "Alexander? Baby, you okay?" John asked, wrapping his arm around the male.
"W-well... What if it's more than that?" I shook my head. "No, it's just the flu. It's... He'll get better Alexander." John nodded, sighing. "We should go." I shook my head in agreement as they stood. "Thanks for stopping by guys." John nodded. "Anytime." With this, they walked out.
~Whoop another skip~
I woke up the next morning, realizing I had fallen asleep at the table. I got up, walking to Laf's room, dumping out his bucket into the toilet and swiping a strand of hair to the side. I kissed his forehead, my lips burning against the high temperatures of his body.
Shortly after I had completed this action, the Frenchman stirred, choking out small amounts of bile before folding into himself and sobbing.
I furrowed my brow. "Hey... What's wrong?" He looked at me, tears streaming out of his eyes in a constant flow. "I-i-it h-hurts... B-b-badly..." I stuck out my bottom lips, feeling horribly bad for the smaller male.
I picked him up bridal style, handing him his bucket before walking out.
"Wh-what...?" He couldn't even make a full sentance and it broke my heart to see him this way.
"I'm taking you to Urgent Care." He said nothing, instead curling up and nuzzling his face into my neck.
~After Urgent Care because I am way too lazy to do that~
Lafayette was asleep in the passenger seat. I had stopped at a Walgreen's to pick up some medicines and other stuff that would help him, and was currently driving home. It was around two in the afternoon; we had been at the Urgent Care for a couple hours; they had been busy.
A lot of yesterday was just Lafayette sleeping and me rotating cold rags from off his forehead. The doctor figured he had influenza and prescribed some meds to help him stop throwing up.
I brought him up into his dorm, setting his bucket down, turning on the fan, and tucking him in. I refilled his water bottle before kissing his forehead and beginning to leave.
I jumped as I felt Laf weakly grab my hand. I turned around, looking to him. His eyes were half lidded, and he weakly held my hand. "Stay?" I smiled, noticing he was awake. "Hey." He smiled weakly back to me. "Hey..." I rubbed my thumb across his knuckles before lying down next to him, holding him gently, soon falling asleep.
