Hercules P.O.V.
"No matter what you do, do not move."
I instructed the female model as I blended a couple colours together to match the green of the background behind her.
She let out a groan and squirmed slightly. I pursed my lips, lifting my brush off of her skin. "Elizabeth. Don't. Move." She nodded furiously before holding her position.
I couldn't understand her discomfort. Her arms were at her sides, her knees weren't locked, and she stood in a generally natural pose. I moved to check my monitor which showed the focal point.
I loved doing camouflage, the only problem is that my model, Elizabeth, keeps moving. I moved away, looking at the partially done work.
"Is the position comfortable? Do you need to change positions?" She shook her head.
"No, Hercules. It's fine." I nodded, looking her up and down. I finished the simple blend before going into detail, but only up to the upper thigh, seeing as I hadn't glued her panties yet.
I grabbed the glue, gluing her panties on the sides so they wouldn't shift if she ended up moving. I had already applied pasties, so I didn't have to worry about that.
It was weird, painting naked women at first, but I've gotten used to it. I barely did men, but I did whenever I got a client.
Body painting wasn't exactly the best way to make a living, and I didn't get too much money off of it, so I also tailored. It was my main job, but any client I got would be fit into my schedule.
It was pretty busy all the time, between tailoring and painting, but I loved it. I loved what I did and I loved the people I met during it.
Elizabeth was almost regular. She constantly came back for all sorts of different reasons, getting all sorts of different genres of art. Currently, I was camouflaging her into a forest background.
"So, who's this Natalie girl?"
I chuckled at her question, shaking my head.
Natalie Fletcher was my idol. She was the first winner of the TV show that got me into body painting, Skin Wars. She was really great at camouflage and I hoped to one day be as great as her.
"No one I know personally, Elizabeth." I continued working on blending the basics for the next half hour before I began using both airbrush and paintbrush on the details. A couple hours later, I finished adding the last detail, looking into the monitor. I had been successful in blending Elizabeth in and I had tricked my eye enough to be unable to find the female.
"There we are..." I took a picture with my camera, smiling up to Elizabeth. "...And we're done!" She smiled and nodded, moving out of her position and coming over to look.
"You did a magnificent job, Hercules~" I smiled. "Thanks Elizabeth. You did a good job too." She giggled, looking at the picture. "It's beautiful." I smiled.
"If you want then Elizabeth, you can go shower and get rid of it. I have your picture and, well, you know the drill." She nodded, placing a kiss on my cheek before walking to the shower.
I walked out to the lobby just as three men walked in. "Nope, Laf. You gotta! You lost." I chuckled slightly as I watched their conversation for a bit.
"Can I help you guys?" I spoke and the one with curly hair pulled back into a ponytail and freckles splattered across his face nodded. "Yeah. I heard from a friend of mine that you do body paint?" He had a sort of southern accent, although I wasn't sure where from. I nodded, smiling. "That's me. What can I help you guys with?"
The taller male, with caramel skin and dark curly hair pulled into a ponytail shook his head at his friend. The shorter male just nodded to him and smirked before looking back to me. "You see, we were playing a game and my friend Lafayette here lost. Big time. The punishment for losing was to go out in public with nothing but body paint. Can you help us with that?" I looked the taller male, Lafayette, up and down.
"Yeah. I can do that." The freckly boy smiled. "Great! Thanks! I'm John, by the way, and this is Lafayette..." He gestured to the taller male. "...And this is Alexander." He pointed to the third male, the shortest of them all. He had greasy black hair pulled into a ponytail and peach fuzz.
I nodded. "Alright. Did you wanna stop by tomorrow morning and I can get that done?" John nodded. "Works for me. Anything we need to do beforehand?" I thought for a moment. "Well, I need all body hair removed." John smirked to Lafayette as said male shook his head. "See ya tomorrow then." I waved to the men as they walked out.
I couldn't wait until tomorrow.
~time skup to the next day~
Morning came and I quickly got out of bed and got dressed. I made coffee before sitting down in the lobby, sewing up some pants while I waited for the three men from yesterday to arrive.
The bell on the door rang as the men entered once again. I looked up, smiling as they walked in. I stood up, setting my project aside as they came over.
"We're back!" John sang, causing Alexander to chuckle and Lafayette to hang his head. I smiled, looking the three over. "No body hair, right? Facial hair is fine since I'm not painting your face but..." Lafayette nodded. "We got him waxed last night." John chuckled out. Both him and Alexander were letting out bursts of laughter while reminiscing on the memory. Lafayette gave them both death glares before nodding.
Funny, he hasn't talked at all while being here. John seemed to be the lead of the group, or at least he was the talker. Alexander was just kind of there. "Alright. Just head into that room back there..." I pointed to my painting room. "...And I'll be in in a minute." Lafayette nodded and walked briskly into the room.
"How much?" John asked, his question aimed at me. I hummed in confusion before he continued, "How much is it gonna cost?" I shook my head.
"No, I got it." John raised an eyebrow. "No, no. How much do you want?" I sighed inwardly. "How about his number?" John chuckled at my statement. "Deal."
"I.. I didn't mean it..." John shook his head. "No, no. It's fine. You got a small crush on Mr. Large Baguette back there." He grabbed a pen and a small piece of paper. "I mean..." He quickly scribbled something down on the paper before sliding it over to me.
"Who doesn't?" Alexander hit his arm with this statement. "John!" John shrugged. "I'm not kidding. You're lucky he's gay." I felt my face heat up and I shook my head, letting out a chuckle. I took the paper, setting it aside. "Lucky me." John nodded. "And you get to see him naked." I shook my head.
"That must be a fun job, right? Getting to see people naked all the time? Sounds great." Alexander punched his arm again. "John! Stop!" John chuckled. "It was nice seeing you naked too, Alex." Alexander hid his face in his hands at Johns statement.
I chuckled slightly again. "It's not seeing naked guys, gals, and nonbinary pals that I like about my job, John. I just like painting." John nodded. "Well, I gotta go paint him so you guys can get out of here. Take a video for me when you guys go out, 'kay?" John chuckled and nodded. "Have fun." I just shook my head and walked into the room.
Lafayette looked at me and gave me a slightly uncomfortable smile. I pursed my lips. "Nervous?" He nodded. "Are you self conscious?" He shook his head.
"It's just kind of uncomfortable, you know?" He spoke softly, but not too quietly. I was shocked. His voice was beautiful. He had a silky smooth accent that sounded like it was French. His voice was just as beautiful as he was.
"I understand. Did you want to go slowly or are you okay with just..." He nodded. "I'll change." I nodded, awkwardly biting my lip. "Uhm... You can use these..." I handed him boxer briefs. "And you can go into that room over there to change." I used my middle finger to point over to the bathroom that was connected to my studio. He nodded.
"D'accord."
I started selecting out colours for his clothing. It had to look realistic or this just wouldn't work. I pulled out hues of blues, blacks, greys, and whites. As I contemplated how I wanted the shirt, he stepped out of the bathroom.
I didn't look away from my paints as I continued to think about how I wanted the shirt to be. I was quickly sketching out what I was going to do as he stepped over. I felt him peer over my shoulder as I continued sketching out rips in the jeans.
"What're you thinking for a shirt?" I questioned, sparing a quick glance over my shoulder at him. I didn't look any lower than his face. Not yet.
He hummed thoughtfully before reaching his hand out for my pencil, which I relinquished to him. He sketched out something really quick before handing back the pencil. I nodded. "Alright. I can do that." He smiled. "Merci, mon ami." I nodded and he moved away. I grabbed out hues of red and purples for his top before finally turning to face him. I faced him and hoLY SHIT he's fucking hot.
I felt heat flood to my cheeks as I stared at his perfectly toned caramel skin. He shifted awkwardly and I looked away quickly. "So uhm... I'm, uh, gonna start with the jeans then... Uhm... Yeah...." He nodded. "O-okay." I nodded awkwardly and grabbed my paints. I kneeled onto my knees, using a dark blue outline to begin with, to mark my boundaries.
I bit my lip, suddenly noticing how weird this position must've looked to anyone. I didn't mind it, I did this all the time; but it made me feel different in front of him. He made me feel different. I felt heat rush to my face and lower region, praying he didn't notice. Throughout the entire time I did his jeans, sexual tension was high. I knew he felt it too because I noticed the large bulge in his 'pants'. Of course, this was natural considering the fact that he was mostly naked; from his old clothes (these consisted of a black sweater and skinny jeans, even though it was spring it still suited him well), it must've been a huge temperature difference and he would be cold.
I stood back to admire my work on the jeans. It looked pretty damn realistic if you asked me, probably one of my best works. Of course, I had to make it my best; only the best for perfection, am I right?
"Now, you can't go out in public without shoes, so you can wear boots or tennis shoes, either would work but I think boots would go best with the outfit, and would hide it better. You know?" He nodded faintly. "Oui."
I nodded and began working with a wavy rectangle. Around the rectangle I used purple, creating a sweater-like look. It really did look like a sweater when I was done, I just had to finish the front design. I used reds, blues, and whites, continuing the sweater design as I worked on his chest. He shivered every now and then understandably. It would've bothered me on anyone else, but I couldn't be upset at the perfect male in front of me.
Too soon, I was finished and, I had to say, he looked gorgeous. Of course, he looked marvelous without clothes, but I wouldn't admit that out loud. I pulled a full body mirror behind him. "You can see it now. Tell me if you see anything you don't like, okay?" He turned around and I saw a spark in his eyes as the corner of his lips turned up. "It looks so.. Perfect. Like... I couldn't tell I wasn't wearing clothes if it wasn't so cold." I chuckled softly. "It's nice outside so I think you'll be fine. It's great for spring in New York." We both laughed a bit at my statement before we walked out to show the other two.
John took one glance up from his phone before speaking, "Laf, the challenge was to be body painted. Not just go back there with our friend here-" I rolled my eyes. "Hercules." I stated, and he nodded before continuing. "With... Herc here into a room for a few hours doing who knows what and throwing different clothes on." I bit my lip.
"First off, mon ami, what would we be doing all that time-?" John stifled a laugh, trying not to wake Alexander, who was asleep on his arm. Lafayette looked confused and my face flushed. "And second..." Lafayette was hesitant in speaking again. "I am not wearing clothes. Here." He held out his arm and John pet it before retracting his hand in shock.
"No. Way! That's... Holy crap!" I smiled at his reaction. "Is it really that good?" I questioned and he looked to me then back to Lafayette. "There is no way. You did not do this." I nodded and he blinked. "Holy shit!" I smiled. "Alright you guys. Go on out and show him off." John chuckled. "C'mon Herc. Come with us!" I shook my head. "I have work to do." John shook his head. "Nah, c'mon. Take a break! Get away!" I chuckled, shaking my head.
"Fine."
~later that day~
I watch Lafayette as we sat outside a Starbucks in the mall. His face was buried in his hands, embarrassed from... Whatever John said. I wasn't paying attention. I was too busy admiring the man in front of me.
No-one had noticed at all. It was fine by me because that told me I did a great job. Lafayette looked to me, his caramel skin tinted with a dark hue of red. It complemented his skin, like a caramel apple.
He quickly looked away, peering at John through his hands. I couldn't see his face, but I could tell he was probably glaring at him. I took a sip of my coffee, cringing at the bitterness. I liked my coffee sweet, but Starbucks is Starbucks and they got my order wrong. It was fine. I'll deal with it.
I was snapped out of my thoughts by Alex letting out a small moan. I raised my eyebrow and glanced at him, causing him to quickly cover his mouth. John chuckled slightly, his arm extended over to Alexander; one could only assume what was happening under the table.
Alexanders' voice was shaky as he spoke, "Excuse me..." He stood up, grabbing John's arm and briskly pulling him into the bathroom. "We'll be around!" I shouted to them. "Text me if you can't find us!" Lafayette hollered after the two, causing people to look out way. He quickly sank back in his seat, being the shy baguette he was.
I looked at him, watching his movements. He spent about one minute of them gone twirling a stray strand of his fluffy hair before groaning and looking at me. "I'm boredddddd." He whined out, causing me to chuckle. "We can go somewhere else. They know to text us if they can't find us. They're smart." Lafayette scoffed at my statement. "No, they're not. I swear to sweet baby Jesus both of those men think with their goddamned dicks." He leaned against the back of his chair, letting out a sigh, muttering something along the lines of, "Fucking horny rabbits." I chuckled, standing up.
"C'mon then. Let's do something else." He nodded eagerly and stood up, tripping and nearly falling over. He gave a small yelp then chuckled.
I smiled, grabbing my coffee and beginning to walk.
"Does this outfit make me look fat?" Lafayette asked me causing me to go into a fit of laughter. "If you are anything, Lafayette, you are not fat. Your fucking magnificent." I didn't realize what came out of my mouth until he stopped. I stopped next to him. "You really mean that?" He questioned and I felt my heart racing as I nodded. "Of course. Is that a problem?"
He shook his head. "Non. It's just incorrect." His words shocked me. "No, of course it is! Trust me. You look amazing. Especially naked. And I've seen a lot of naked people." His face turned into a dark red and he hid his face in his hands. I just chuckled.
"C'mon." I grabbed his hand and dragged him into Hot Topic, beaming widely at the merchandise store I had grown to love.
I loved coming into Hot Topic. I came by all the time. "Hey, Hercules!" I smiled, noticing the female worker who was probably my best friend. "Hey Pegs! How's today been?" She giggled faintly and I walked over, engulfing her in a big hug. I room pulled out of the embrace, smiling at the smaller girl.
"We've been busyyyy." She complained and I chuckled. "Pays well, though, don't it?" She nodded. "So Hercky," She looked between me and Lafayette, pointing to him. "Got a new boyfriend? He sure is cute." Lafayettes face flushed again and I quickly shook my head. "Nonono, Peggy. It's not like that." She giggled, humming a sarcastic agreement. "Sure. And you two aren't alone in Hot Topic and you're not gay." I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever Pegs. Here, have some coffee. It's not your usual but... It'll do." She took my coffee and tasted it. She automatically cringed and forced kg back at me. "Ew! What is that? Black?!" I chuckled. "Nope. It's Starbucks." She groaned. "Damn. Why not Dunkin or The Human Bean or seriously anything else?"
I smiled at her response. We both hated Starbucks with a passion. "Actually, I'm here with other friends. Like Lafayette. There's two others but... They're off in the bathrooms somewhere." She nodded, getting the gist of what I was saying.
"I feel bad for those janitors..." She said and I nodded.
After a moment of silence for the janitors, I finally spoke up. "Oh, hey Pegs! Did you notice that Lafayette is body painted?" She looked at him and squinted her eyes. "No way." He nodded, holding out his arm for her to feel.
"Oh my god. Good job, Herc. You got all the shading right... This is probably your best piece by far! Nice flag, by the way." I smiled. "Thanks Pegs." I smiled and she nodded. "Also, you're skin is really frippin' soft." Her statement was aimed to Lafayette. I looked to him, smiling, and he smiled too, but I noticed something in his eyes. It was a dark emotion, something along the lines of jealousy.
"Thanks. I try." He smiled softly to her, and I noticed a hatred in his eyes. I decided it would be best to introduce them so I didn't have to deal with a murder.
"Where are my manners?" I asked, moving out of the way so they could introduce each other. "Pegs, this is Lafayette. Lafayette, this is Margarita Schuyler, but we just call her Peggy." They shook hands briskly before he retracted his hand.
"Enchanté, mademoiselle." Peggy giggled. "He's French too!" I nodded, smiling. She giggled. "Peggy is my non-biological sister." Lafayette nodded and I saw the hatred and jealousy move away from his beautiful eyes. Did he like me?
That was unreasonable. He wouldn't. He couldn't like someone like me. I don't deserve to be liked. At least, that's what I've been told.
Peggy smiled. "Yep! Hercules is the kindest person I know and if you break his heart I swear to god-" Laf had backed up a bit, holding his hands in retreat. "We aren't dating, Peggy." I said, cutting her off. She huffed, muttering under her breath.
I chuckled at the smaller female before speaking, "'Kay Pegs. We're gonna go somewhere else. It was good seeing ya. Come over sometime, alright?" She nodded. "See ya guys." We turned to leave before, "Oh, yeah. And, Herc?" I looked at the short female. "Yes, Peggy?" "Invite me to the wedding." I groaned, rolling my eyes before walking out, Laf in tow.
"Sorry about Peggy. She's weird sometimes." He nodded quietly. "Hey, you okay?" He nodded again. "Of course, why wouldn't I be?" His voice sounded bitter, but I might just be paranoid. "Is it because there's a lot of people?" He shook his head. "I said I'm fine." I nodded. "Alright."
We walked around the mall in silence. He walked pretty close to me, causing out knuckles to brush every now and then, which made my face flush. He didn't seem bothered by it, so I made no effort to change it.
We eventually stopped, sitting down on a bench. It was a tense silence between us before he finally spoke, "Sorry, I guess... I kind of got... A little... How you say...?" I bit my cheek before finishing his sentence. "Jealous?" He nodded shamefully.
"Of who? Peggy?" He nodded faintly, humming softly in agreement. "Why?" I questioned, causing him to look down at his fidgeting hands. "I... I think... I th-think I like you, Hercules... But I barely k-know you a-and... I-I don't want to r-rush into anything... B-but I... I g-get this f-feeling when I'm around y-you... L-like... Like... A combination of lust, love, and... I don't know how t-to describe it-" I cut him off with a passionate kiss. He seemed surprised at first, maybe in shock because he thought I wouldn't like him, but John was right. Who couldn't?
I held his practically naked feminine figure close to me and noticed he began kissing back. He wrapped his arms around my neck, deepening the kiss, and I felt sparks fly like fireworks.
I soon pulled away, looking him in his magnificent eyes. "You don't have to describe it." He still looked shocked before he spoke, "I-I don't?" I shook my head. "No. You know why?"
"Why?" He cocked his head, more hair falling into his face.
"Because I feel the same way."
He smiled widely, pulling me into another deep kiss. This one didn't last as long before he pulled away. "But... Do you think this is going too fast...?" He questioned and I shook my head again. "I've already seen you naked. Well, mostly. But I think that's good enough. Unless you disagree." He shook his head.
"I think that's perfect." His voice was soft as he wrapped his arms around my neck, laying his head on my chest.
"Hercules?" I hummed in response. "I'm tired..." I smiled at the exhausted Frenchman, holding him close. "It's only three, Laf." He shrugged, burying his nose in my chest. "Coffee makes me sleepy." He stated, causing me to chuckle. "Take a nap. I have a small feeling we'll be here for a while. He nodded, dozing off in the middle of the busy mall.
I pulled out my phone, noticing that I had multiple texts from Elizabeth.
I sighed, calling her because I didn't feel like texting. She picked up quickly. "Hercules! Where are you? I've been worried sick!" I shook my head. "I'm at the mall, Elizabeth."
"Really? You didn't tell me?! Hercules!" I winced at her voice coming through the phone. "Why do you care, Elizabeth?" I heard a very audible sigh come from the other end of the phone.
"Look, Elizabeth. I'm currently out with my boyfriend. Please leave me alone so I can be with him." I put emphasis on boyfriend so she knew how much I was not interested in her. I didn't know if that's what Lafayette considered us, but I had to get her off of my tail because I just wasn't interested.
"O-oh.." I heard disappointment in her voice but shrugged it off.
"So... You're gay then?" I nodded, even if she couldn't see it. "Pansexual, really, but yes." I could hear her rolling her eyes. "But... Hercules..." I raised an eyebrow. "Yes?"
"I thought we had something Hercules..." I shook my head. "I'm sorry Elizabeth. I don't know if I was leading you on, but I'm sorry. You thought wrong." She sighed once again. "Well... Whatever. You don't deserve me anyways. You'll never find someone like me again." I shook my head. "Fine by me. I have everything I want here." I stroked Lafayette's hair slowly, smiling softly at the sleeping male on my chest.
She scoffed from the other end of the line and hung up. I shook it off, holding Lafayette close.
I have everything I could ever want right here...
