The prince of Greece
Au in which Michaels parents decided to move from Australia to Greece and Michael meets Prince Luke.

Michael muffled as he looked over the place to spot his family.
It was disgustingly hot this day, Michael was sweaty and just wanted to go back into his hotel room.
But his family was nowhere to be found.
He just sight and went in the opposite direction of where he came from.
Michael ended up on a peaceful looking ship landing stage with no one on the ships but locals around the pier.
He stepped on one, walked up to the water and dipped his hands in it.
The semi cold water kinda cooled him down a little until someone said something behind him.
Michael didn't understand it because it was a foreigner language for him, but he turned around.
The pier was empty but on the boat on his left sat some.
“Sorry...I didn't understand you.“
“Sure...I said that your hair colour is cool.“
Michael smiled with a slight blush “Thank you.“
The stranger got up from his sitting position and jumped from the boat on the wood of the pier just with flipflops on his feet.
“I'm very sorry. I shouldn't have assumed you're a local. It's just that right now isn't the usual time for tourists.“
Michael liked the accent from his new company. “Thats probably because where I'm from is just the beginning of winter. And we moved here like...a week ago and now my parents want to do sight seeing after our house is set up.“
“Cool, that's really nice... you're from Australia?“
Michael nodded, trying his hardes to not let his eyes slip don't on the shirtless upper body of the local.
“I'm Luke just by the way.“
“Nice to meet you. I'm Michael.“
It went silent until Michaels phone rang.
He quickly got it out of the pocket of his shorts and picked up. “Yeh...hey mum.“
“Mikey! Where are you?“
“I don't know...“ he turned to Luke and held his phone away from his head. “Where is a good place to get picked up like lost and found?“
Luke laughed and told him about a fancy restaurant right in the middle of the little town.
The Australian boy gave that info to his mom and she agreed on going there.
“I'll be your guide.“
Michael waited for Luke because he jumped back on the boat to get himself a shirt, his phone and the keys for the boat.
They made their way to the middle of the city which was funny enough the place where Michael started.
Before Michael left to great his mom Luke gave him his phone number. “I'll text you as soon as possible.“
“That was the goal.“
This time Luke slightly blushed after saying that but Michael just shrugged it of with a smile and hugged him.
When Michael finally hugged his mom again, she looked past him with a smile. “Who was that nice boy?“
“Hes Luke...a local. I met him down at the pier. He recommended this place and he brought me here.“
“What a gentleman.“
Michael rolled his eyes. “Mum, I'm the top.“
Karen just slapped her son's upper arm before they started to walk to Darly.
Michael turned around once, seeing the tall blond boy being gone.

Luke giggled like a child after he closed his door.
His hands and eyes where constantly glued to his phone and he knew his mom would personally chop his head of when someone would snitch that he gave his number out.
Michael still hasn't texted but the prince was optimistic that he was just out with his family, having a good time.
But after Michael didn't text for whole 2 days he got kinda curious.
He was laying in bed, halfway asleep when the phone in his hands rang.
Someone was calling him.
“Lucas?“
“Hey...here is Michael.“
Luke smiled and turned on his back, switched to English “Hey Mikey...is it okay, if I call you this?“
“As if I have a choice Prince Lucas of Greece.“
“How do you know that?“
Michael laughed. “I noticed how immediately everyone stepped out of your way. I first thought its because they're polite...but then I saw how they all kinda... lowered their head so I got curious and it wasn't that hard to find it on google.“
“I'm sorry...for not telling you. I'm very sorry. It was just nice to have some company who doesn't already know my status.“ Luke apologized, sitting up.
“Its okay...I was just afraid to call you after I found out. Like... maybe I did something wrong in the etiquette and now the royalty hunts me down.“
Luke laughed out loud, couldn't stop for a good five minutes. “Oh, you basically threw the etiquette in the ocean. But you couldn't know. So no one hunts you down...or not yet...“
Now it was Michaels turn to laugh. “Thats good to hear my majesty.“
“My majesty is my dad. I'm just Luke...or Lucas in Greek. Please don't call me prince.“
“At your command.“ Michael teased him a last time. “No, now for real, that's kinda cool and I don't want to lose my new and first friend in my new home.“
“Very nice from you...you want to meet up again...that time I'll be dressed.“
“Not that it would be a requirement for me but sure... absolutely. Tell me when and where.“
“At the pier... maybe at sunset on Monday?“
“Totally. I'll be there...if I don't get lost.“ Michael laughed gently.
“I'm excited...but I need my sleep...I have a lot of things to do tomorrow...you know... keeping up with the stereotype.“
“Okay, that's fair. Good night Luke.“
“Good night Michael.“
Neither of them hung up so Luke just took his phone, stuffed it under his pillow and turned the lights off.

Meeting the Queen of Greece after they where friends for a few month was a ride.
Luke taught his friend about the basic etiquette and a little bit of Greek.
But for the sake of both of them the Queen adored Michael with his colorful hair so much that she sent him an invitation to one of the royal events.
~
“Oh lord...I can't even dance.“ Michael said with a sigh when he fell in Luke's bed, looking at the blond local.
“Ehhh, I'll teach you... My mom likes Beethoven or Bach or Mozart and that crap. So I have been on a lot of such events. Get up...now.“
Michael got up and looked confused at him.
Luke went all up into his personal space, took his hands and placed them on him.
“You're the guid position... don't be scared, I'll do the leading but it'll look like you have the lead.“
With just one hand he played a song on his phone while slowly starting to dance. “My mom loves pieces like For Elise or Swan lake because she was at the Vienna Opera Ball for a little too many times.“
Michael just laughed because he had no clue where Vienna was and tried to copy Luke's steps while halfway tripping.
After they tried for about half an hour they sat down on the bed, Michael looking at Luke. “Have you ever been to Vienna?“
Luke looked suprised. “Yes. Sure...a few times. With my parents...why you ask?“
Michael smiled slightly, looking around the room before his sight returned to the blond prince. “This is my first time being in Europe. And....I brought you a suprise.“
“Oh...what did you got me?“
Luke's eyes got sparkly because he loved suprises and especially when he got them.
“It's not as special...like you're used.“
“No, no it's totally fine. Suprises are about from who you get em.“
Quickly Michael got his bag and placed it Infront of the prince. “Open it.“
Luke opened the zip of the bag and his confused face turned even confuseder.
A laugh was audible, clear, happy and obviously from Michael. “I brought you Australian candy you silly.“
“Oh my god thank you!“ he yelled and gently stuck his hand in the bag to pull some wrapped sweets out.
There was a lot of choice so Luke just opened up the first thing he fished out.
“Thats delicious.“
Michael smiled and carefully hugged Luke who was eating animal shaped cookies with strawberry filling.
“You're amazing.“ Luke whispered in Greek and Michael used the same language to say thank you.
~~~~
Michael was fucking nervous as he looked in the mirror.
The Queen of Greece gave him the stuff he was wearing for the dance...with her son.
She obviously didn't mind her boy dancing with another one, she told him that too. She was just happy to be able to have such a event in her castle.
It knocked on the door so Michael turned around and opened it, smiled as he saw Luke, standing there, looking like the prince he was with a crown in his blond hair.
“Wow.“ they said both at the same time, looking and checking on each other.
“You're ready to go?“ Luke asked with a shy smile.
“Whenever you are.“
It was save to say that Michael wasn't this fucking nervous ever in his life.
