8 MONTHS LATER

Today was Shivaay's birthday and everyone was arranging for his birthday party except Anika as she was heavily pregnant.

She was watching a movie while keeping the bowl of popcorn on her stomach.

Suddenly Shivika and Kabir ran towards her.

A- Hey babies.

Sh- Hi Mumma.

K- How are you, Mumma?

A- I'm good my babies. Your baby brother or sister is very active today. See.

She held their hand and kept it on her stomach and the baby kicked instantly. Shivika and Kabir were shocked.

K- Mumma, there's a baby inside your tummy.

Kabir said in shock. Shivaay and Anika told them about it but they Never experienced the movement in Anika's tummy as the doctor said the baby was kind of lazy so he/she doesn't move much but today he/she was super active.

Sh- Mumma, did you eat the baby?

Anika laughed at their question.

A- No baby, I didn't eat the baby. We were good and honest with other people so God gifted us the baby by keeping it in my tummy.

Anika said and Shivika was trying to understand the whole thing. She then nodded in understanding.

Sh- Mumma, even I'm good girl then when will God gift me with baby?

Shivika asked and Anika's eyes widened at her question.

A- Not now baby. You're very small right now but when you'll grow up, then God will gift you with a baby.

Anika said and Shivika squealed in joy and ran out of the room and Anika shook her head in disbelief.

Kabir looked at Anika and smiled sadly.

Anika noticed his changed demeanor.

A- baby, what happened? Why are you looking sad?

Anika spread her arms and Kabir slowly hugged her, keeping in mind not to hurt her or the baby.

A- What happened, Baccha?

K- Mumma, will you love me the same, even when the baby arrives?

Kabir asked her with teary eyes. Anika immediately cupped his face.

A- Kabir, why do you think that we'll stop loving when the baby arrives?

K- At school, one boy told me that everyone will stop loving me when the baby arrives because I'm adopted.

Anika's eyes got filled with tears.

A- Kabir, never say that you're adopted. You're our eldest son, elder brother of Shivika, eldest grandkid of Pinky maa so never think that we'll stop loving you. You'll be always our first priority. We'll love you the same no matter what happens, okay. Never think like that. We love you and always will.

Kabir nodded his head.

K- I'm sorry, Mumma that I troubled you.

Anika shook her head and wiped his tears.

A- No baby. You can always talk to me about anything. In fact, you made me happy when you shared your feelings with me. Never hide your feelings from me, okay.

Kabir nodded his head. Then he stood up and facepalmed himself.

A- What happened?

K- I forgot that Daadi told us to take you downstairs as dad is about to arrive and his surprise party is ready.

Anika chuckled and nodded her head.

A- Okay, let's go then.

Anika held Kabir's hand and headed downstairs.

As soon as they reached the Living room, Anika saw that the whole room was decorated with balloons and a big banner of 'happy birthday Shivaay'.

A- Wow, Mom! Everything looks so beautiful.

P- all thanks to the decorators. How are you feeling, beta?

Pinky helped Anika to sit on the couch and sat beside her.

A- I'm fine, Mom. I think my delivery date is near that's why I'm feeling cramps.

P- Hmm.. maybe false alarm or something.

Anika nodded her head.

Suddenly they heard sound of car horn. Everyone looked at each other in excitement.

Pinky immediately switched off the lights and they all stood up to surprise Shivaay.

Shivaay entered the house and found all the lights were switched off.

S- Oh God! Why it's so dark?

Suddenly the lights were switched on and Anika and Pinky burst the party poppers and they shouted 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' along with the kids. Shivaay's eyes widened in surprise.

S- Oh My God! You guys.

Shivaay chuckled and walked towards Pinky and hugged them together.

P/A- Happy Birthday.

He then broke the hug and looked at the kids.

Sh/K- Happy Birthday Dadda/dad.

They jumped in excitement and Shivaay picked them up in his arms.

S- Thank you Princess and Champ.

Anika signed a servant to bring cake.

A servant came with a cake on the trolley.

S- Wow guys! When did you do all these arrangements?

A- It's all done by Mom.

Anika said while Smiling widely and Pinky smiled too.

S- Thank you so much mom. Its beautiful.

Shivaay hugged her and Pinky smiled.

P- Okay. Now cut the cake.

Shivaay was about to cut the cake when a sudden pain hit Anika and she winced while clutching her stomach.

A- Ouch.

Everyone looked at her worriedly.

S- What happened, Jaan?

A- Don't worry. It's just fake alarm.

S- Are you sure?

Anika nodded her head.

A- I'm fine. Now cut the cake. I'm craving for it.

Shivaay chuckled and cut the cake. He fed the first piece to Pinky, then to Anika. He was feeding Shivika and Kabir when he heard Anika's wincing in pain.

A- aaaahhh... Ouch. Shivaay, my water broke.

P- Oh My Maata! Shivaay take her to the hospital.

Pinky said worriedly while holding Anika.

S- I didn't knew that the baby will like the cake so much that he's so excited to come out.

A- SHIVAAY! I'LL KILL YOU. TAKE ME TO THE DAMN HOSPITAL.

Anika shouted while glaring at him.

S- Okay Jaan. Mom, please take care of the kids.

P- Yes I'm here. You go and keep informing me.

Shivaay immediately took Anika's hospital bag and grabbed Anika's and started running towards the door.

A- Slow down you idiot. I'm pregnant.

S- Not anymore. The baby is about to come out.

Anika groaned in anger.

A- Oh God! Let's just go.

They immediately drove towards the hospital.

As soon as they reached the hospital, Shivaay shouted-

S- EMERGENCY.

All the hospital staff and patients looked at them weirdly and Anika palmed her face in embarrassment.

A nurse rushed towards Anika with wheelchair.

N- What happened?

A- I'm just into labor pain.

N- Okay. I'll take you to the maternity ward. And sir, you can't shout like that in the hospital.

Shivaay smiled sheepishly.

S- Sorry.

The nurse took Anika to the labor room and Shivaay followed.

After few hours, Anika gave birth to a baby boy.

Shivaay entered the Anika's ward and saw her sleeping. He looked at the baby who was looking at him with his cute blue eyes.

He picked him up in his arms and a tear escaped from his eyes.

S- Best Birthday gift ever.

A- you're crying. Don't you know Boys don't cry?

Anika said with a chuckle and Shivaay chuckled too.

S- But Gentlemen do.

Anika smiled widely and Shivaay walked towards her with the baby.

He gave the baby to Anika and she smiled widely after holding him in her arms.

A- He's so beautiful.

S- I know, right. He'll be the future heartbreaker.

Shivaay said and Anika chuckled.

At the same time, Pinky entered the ward with Shivika and Kabir.

Shivika and Kabir ran towards Shivaay, Anika and the baby.

Sh- Mumma, is it the baby?

A- Yes baby. You're an elder sister now.

Shivaay squealed in joy.

S- Say hi to your little brother.

K- He's so cute.

Anika nodded her head.

P- So have you decided a name?

Shivaay and Anika looked at each other and together said the name.

S/A- Ansh Singh Oberoi.

Pinky smiled widely.

P- Okay everyone. Let's take a family picture.

Pinky took a group selfie.
