1 MONTH LATER

The whole Oberoi Mansion was beaming with happiness and excitement as Pinky was coming back home.

Oberoi Mansion was decorated like a bride. Anika was running here and there, directing the workers to do all their work nicely.

Shivaay looked at his wife and shook his head in disbelief.

He grabbed a juice glass and walked towards Anika.

He backhugged her and Anika turned her head to look at him with a frown.

A- What are you doing, Shivaay? There is so much work left and Mom will be here in an hour.

S- Jaan, I know that mom is coming back but Why are you getting so tensed? If you won't do all these arrangements then also mom will love you like before. Why are you getting so tensed, baby?

Anika turned to look at him with teary eyes.

Shivaay got worried and made her turn to face himself.

He kept the juice glass on the table and cupped her face.

S- Come.

They settled down on the couch.

S- What happened, jaan?

Shivaay asked her worriedly after seeing her teary eyes.

A- I... I'm just tensed about Kabir. Mom didn't liked me before because I was an orphan and what if she didn't like Kabir and treat him differently.

Shivaay understood her concern.

S- Jaan, I understand your concern and whatever will happen, we'll face it together and we won't let anyone harm our son.

Anika nodded her head and rested her head on his chest. Shivaay smiled and pecked her forehead.

He took the glass and forwarded it towards Anika.

Anika looked at him in confusion.

S- Come on. Have this juice. I know you haven't eaten anything since morning.

Anika smiled sheepishly and took the juice glass.

She started drinking it when both the kids ran down the stairs with a bright smile.

They immediately ran and hugged Shivaay and Anika.

Sh- Good Molning, Mumma, Dadda.

K- Good morning mom dad.

Shivika and Kabir greeted Shivaay and Anika. Shivaay and Anika smiled at their babies and kissed their forehead one by one.

A/S- Good Morning babies. Did you guys slept well?

Sh/K- Yes Mom.

They said together and Shivaay and Anika chuckled.

Shivika looked around and saw that the house was getting decorated with lights and getting cleaned.

Sh-Mumma, ish it diwali today?

Shivika asked in excitement.

Anika cupped her face and chuckled.

A- No baby. Today's not diwali.

Shivika frowned in confusion.

A- But today is a day of celebration as your Dadi is coming back.

Shivika's eyes lit in excitement.

Sh- Dadi ish coming back?

Shivika asked and Anika nodded her head.

Sh-Wow! I'll get leady in plincessh dlessh.

Shivika said and ran upstairs to her bedroom to get Ready. Anika and Shivaay shook their head in disbelief.

They turned to look at Kabir who was sweating profusely and his face has an expression of fear.

Anika and Shivaay exchanged worried looks.

Anika immediately made Kabir sit between herself and Shivaay and caressed his hair slowly to calm him down.

A- What happened, Baccha?

Anika asked him softly and he looked at her with teary eyes.

K- I.... I.... am..... Sc...scared.... Mom.

Anika immediately hugged him with teary eyes.

A- Shh... You don't have to be scared, Baccha. We are always with you, no matter what and we won't let anyone harm you. Okay. And your grandma is very sweet woman. I'm sure she will love you.

Kabir looked at Anika with hopeful eyes.

S- Your Mom is right, buddy. You don't have to be scared of anything. We're here for you.

Kabir nodded his head with a soft smile.

K- I love you Mom dad.

A/S- We Love you too.

Shivaay and Anika hugged Kabir from either side.

Kabir chuckled when Shivaay started tickling him.

Anika and Shivaay looked at each other and sighed in relief. They just really hoped what they said becomes truth about Pinky loving Kabir as her own grandchild otherwise Kabir will be broken.

A- Okay. Kabir, now go and get ready. Mom will be here any minute now.

Kabir nodded his head and rushed upstairs towards his room to get ready.

After around half an hour, The Oberoi family heard the horn of car.

They immediately rushed towards the gate to welcome Pinky.

Pinky walked towards the main door with a wide smile.

P- Oh My Maata! I'm so happy to see my family back. I was tired of looking at those foreigners with good for nothing clothes.

Shivaay and Anika chuckled at Pinky's statement.

Anika did Pinky's Aarti and Shivaay and Anika touched Pinky's feet and she blessed them happily.

S- How's your health, Mom?

P- I'm fit and healthy. Doctor said I won't die for atleast 30 years more.

Pinky said while chuckling and Shivaay and Anika joined her too.

Sh- Daaaddiiiii.

Shivika ran towards Pinky and hugged her legs. Pinky picked her up in her arms and pecked Shivika's forehead.

P- How's my cutiepie?

Sh-Beautiful Dadi.

Everyone laughed at her statement.

Suddenly Pinky noticed a little boy hiding behind Anika.

Shivaay and Anika noticed Pinky's gaze and they got tensed.

Anika gently held Kabir's hand and brought him to the front.

S- Mom, This is Kabir, our son.

She looked at Shivaay in confusion and Shivaay pleaded Pinky through his eyes.

Pinky looked at Kabir who was looking too scared.

Pinky smiled.

P- Kabir, won't you give a hug to your Dadi?

Pinky asked him with a smile and Kabir looked at her with wide eyes. Shivaay and Anika sighed in relief.

Kabir looked at Anika and she nodded her head with a smile.

Kabir slowly walked towards Pinky and wrapped his arms around her. Pinky smiled and pecked his head.

Shivaay and Anika smiled.
