Anika was cooking breakfast when Shivaay hugged her from back. Anika smiled.

A- Good morning.

S- Good morning beautiful. What are you cooking?

A- Apple pie. Shivi wanted to eat it since two days.

S-Hmmm.. get ready after breakfast. We're going somewhere.

Anika looked at him in confusion.

A- What ? where?

S- Our lakehouse.

A- What? But you told me that you never went there since uncle....

Anika stopped in mid sentence and looked at Shivaay.

S- Yeah. But I want to create new memories with my family.

Shivaay smiled and Anika nodded her head.

They had their breakfast and got ready for their mini trip to lakehouse.

Shivaay was driving while Anika was smiling at Shivika who was jumping on the seat in excitement.

Sh- Mumma, ale we going ghoomi- ghoomi?

A- Yes baby.

S- Are you excited, princess?

Sh- Yesh Dadda.

Shivika squealed in excitement.

Shivaay and Anika chuckled.

They were close to the lakehouse when they saw a 5 year old boy, lying on the Middle of the road.

A- Shivaay, Stop the car. There's a boy in the middle of the road.

Shivaay stopped the car with a jerk.

Shivaay and Anika exchanged looks with each other.

Sh- Mumma, what happeled?

A- Nothing baby. Come here.

Anika spread her arms towards Shivika and She jumped into Anika's arms and Anika held her close. Shivaay looked at Anika and then stepped out of the car.

Shivaay saw a 5 year old boy lying injured in the Middle of the road. He was unconscious and his forehead was bleeding. Shivaay got worried and bend down beside the boy. He looked here and there but found noone.

He immediately picked up the boy in his arms and rushed towards his car.

He made him lie down in the backseat. Anika was also looking at them worriedly.

A- What happened?

S- I dont know. This boy is severely injured. Let's take him to the lakehouse and I'll call Dr. D'Souza there only. He lives nearby and we'll inform inspector Shroff too.

Anika nodded her head and they drove towards Lakehouse.

Shivaay carried the boy and Anika carried Shivika in the house.

Shivaay lied down the boy on the couch while Anika immediately called the doctor and the inspector.

A- Shivaay, doctor and inspector are on their way.

Shivaay nodded his head.

S- God knows what happened to him.

A- Shivaay, where is first aid box? We can atleast stop the bleeding. Shivaay took the box and gave it to Anika.

Anika immediately cleaned the wound of the boy and caressed his face, feeling pity on him that he was suffering so much at such young age.

Soon Doctor and inspector arrived. The doctor treated the kid while Shivaay explained the whole scenario to the inspector.

Anika and Shivika were looking at the boy, who was still unconscious.

Shivika tugged at Anika's dress and Anika looked at her and sat on her knees in front of her.

Sh- Mumma, what happeled to bhai?

Anika was shocked when Shivika addressed the boy as 'bhai' but she smiled and pecked her forehead.

A- Nothing baby. He just fell so he got little injured. But he'll be fine.

Shivika nodded her head. Soon doctor was done with the treatment.

He walked towards Shivaay and Anika.

D- I've treated the injuries of the boy but it seems that he was a victim of child abuse as his body is covered with internal wounds. But there's nothing too serious as almost all the wounds are healed except the fresh ones. Take care of him and feed him well as he's very weak.

Shivaay and Anika nodded their head.

I- We have sent his photo in the police stations. Maybe we can find his parents or se relative.

In their conversation, they didn't realise that the boy was already conscious. They turned to look towards the boy but the scene in front of them made them 'awww'.

There, Shivika was hugging the boy and he  was smiling.

Sh- Don't wolly, bhai. Mumma shaid you will be fine.

Shivika said while giving her toothy smile.

Shivaay and Anika sat in front of the boy and he looked scared.

Anika sat beside him and caressed his head.

A- Don't worry, beta. We won't hurt you.

The boy looked at Anika and nodded with a small smile.

A- What's your name?

B- Ka..Kabir.

A- Wow!Such a beautiful name. Beta, where are your parents?

Kabir looked at her with teary eyes.

K- With God.

Shivaay and Anika's eyes widened.

Anika hugged him close toh herself.

A- Beta, who hurt you?

Kabir was now shivering in fear.

S- Beta, don't be scared. Tell us.

Sh- Yesh bhai. Dadda will beat the bad uncle. Dadda ish a shuperman.

Shivika said while showing her muscles and Kabir chuckled.

K- My uncle. He was running from police uncle when I fell on the road and he kicked me in the head and ran away. He used to beat me for money.

Shivaay and Anika were shocked. Suddenly inspector's phone rang and he answered it.

Anika and Shivika were hugging Kabir from either sides.

I- It seems that his uncle was a murderer and he was involved in child trafficking. No doubt that poor boy suffered so much. He doesn't have any other relatives so if you want I can take him to some orphanage.

Shivaay looked at Anika and she shook her head in negative.

S- No worries, Inspector. Let him be with us for some days, then we'll decide something.

The inspector nodded his head and left from there.

A- Okay, Kabir. What do you want to eat?

Kabir was first scared but Shivika jumped in between.

Sh- Mumma, aloo palatha. ( To Kabir) you know bhai. Mumma cooksh yummy yummy.

Kabir nodded his head and Shivaay and Anika smiled at him.
