Neil stood outside avni's room and kept on thinking.

Why she has not told me this. How could she do this to me.
She...she has hidden such a big truth from me. Was it delibrate ?
She...she doesnt want me to know about...about the b...baby.
Main...main p...papa..papa bnne wala hu...or...or avni ne....avni ne itni badi baat mujhse chupayi.
And why...why the hell she is taking those pills. I need an answer Avni. And this time you have to answer.

After 2 hours.

Avni was awake. Neil who was standing outside noticed her...and then went to inform the doctor.

Doctor entered inside the room along with Neil.

Doctor was examining Avni's pulse....while Neil was starring at Avni constantly.

Avni raised her eyes slowly and looked at Neil.
Seeing him having that look on his face....she knew that he knows everything now.

She start looking on the other side...and avoid having direct eye contact with him.
Because she knew that Neil knows everything now...and is bursting with anger from inside.

Doctor - Avni...how are you feeling now..?

Avni : Better doctor.

Doctor : So...you don't love yourself. Right..? and i think you don't love your child also....doctor said mockingly to make avni realise what stupidity she has done.

She looked at neil.....and then she looked down.

Avni (looking down with guilt in her eyes) : N..no doctor.its...its not like that.

Doctor : Look Avni...i am just saying that you need to take care of yourself. Not for yourself...but atleast....atleast for your baby.

Avni didnt said anything and was listening patiently.

Doctor : So...i guess now you will not repeat it again. You will not touch those sleeping pills again...and neither any other medicine...u less it is prescribed. Okay...?

Avni nodded in a yes.

Doctor left...leaving the couple alone for sometimes.

Neil sat on a nearby stool and looked at her. While Avni was looking on the opposite direction.

Neil : Avni.....Look at me.

She didnt reacted to his words.

Neil closed his eyes, trying to control his anger.

Neil :  Avni....I said look at me. We need to talk.
Avniiii....i am asking for the last time.

She didnt listened and ignores him completely.
This time Neil just stood up. He held her from her hands and made her half sitted on the bed.

Avni : N...neil...ahh...what are you doing... she revolted when he was making her sit...

Neil sat on the bed beside her.
He held her shoulders forcefully and made her look into his eyes.

Neil : Now look at me.....

She looked into his eyes and she could see the pool of emotions going on inside his mind.

Neil : What's your problem Avni. Why are you behaving like this. And Tumne itni...itni badi baat mujhse chhupayi.....THAT YOU ARE PREGNANT.

she was looking into his eyes with anger...and was constantly trying to free her hands from his arms....but his grip was so tight that she has to gave in.

Avni :  So what neil.....How does this matters to you. It's just a baby inside my belly. And stop showing this fake concern. As if you care.

Neil : Of course this matters to me Avni...ofcourse this matters...Because its not just a baby inside your belly.....ITS MY BABY.

Of course this matters to me because you are preganant WITH MY CHILD. And i have all the rights to know this.
MUJHE HAQ HAI....ye janne ka ki tum...mere bache ji maa banne wali ho.
.....or sirf ye hi kyu...Tumse related har baat jaanne ka pura haq hai mujhe.... Samjhi tum. he said all this in a raised voice to make her realise that how badly he is hurt and how does it feels to him.

They both shared an eye lock after this. There was silence for few seconds. Neil's eyes were full of emotions while Avni's eyes were full of tears.

She knew that neil is badly hurt by her behavior, of not telling him about her pregnancy.

Avni : I...i am...I am sorry neil.

Neil's eyes were also wet. He sighed and left her shoulders calmly.
He sat there silently being really hurt and upset with her.

Avni : I know...i know i did wrong...by not telling you this. But...but i did this because....because i....i was not sure. she said this not looking into his eyes.

Neil immediately looked at her in a sudden shock.

Neil (shoched) : WHAT...? Sure...? Sure about what...?

Avni : About....about this....this baby. Avni was unable to meet his eyes.

Neil : Wh...what...what did you just said....? Say...say it again....he said in a sarcastic way

This time Avni looked staright into his eyes and said fearlessly.

Avni : Because i was NOT SURE ABOUT THIS BABY....that...that whether I HAVE TO KEEP IT OR.....

Neil (angrily) : Avniiiiii.......!
