'Step'

The story may end in few pages,
But it will take you ages
To understand how did she manage
To control her growing sorrow and rage.

Grown up in the places surrounded by nature,
Made her a little-big creature,
With strong physique and mentality;
Innocent, simple and obedient- that's her personality.

Took fancy on a guy,
But had to say goodbye;
Becuz with someone else she was destined,
Social norms made her shut and feel confined.

As taught by mother,
She devoted herself to the other.
Even when she was ignored
She tried her best without getting bored.

Time passed, distance went far;
She was enjoying, unaware of the upcoming scar.
She saw it with her own eyes
How he was losing his conscience.

'Only if I had taken a step,
Only if I did something to stop his losing pep.
Maybe I would be living happily,
Maybe I would be spending time merrily.'
