51 ~ Bad Boyfriends

///
You were washing the dishes after the dinner that you a Jimin made together. Jimin had the job of drying after you washed.
It's been a few days.
A few short, sweet days.
These days consisted of the same daily routine of getting up in the morning and going to work in the evenings.
You were beginning to feel the impact of feeding and sheltering Jiyun and Jimin.
They were used to eating like royals and living in a huge home.
But as for you, you were used to living in a crappy, run-down house and eating rarely throughout the week. You used to eat just to avoid fainting really because you couldn't afford any more then that at the time.
But now you live in a lovely, cozy apartment and you eat as much as you can afford, which is deeming to be plenty for you.
As for them, they feel as if they had down-graded their living arrangements. The huge house where they used live is now a house the size of one of the rooms in their old house.
Even when Jimin was away in China he had a big house.
Your lifestyle, was and is, completely different to theirs and you were fine with that. You didn't mind the fact that Jimin came from wealthy beginnings.
What you did mind was them trying to input that lifestyle into yours.
"I think it would be nice" Jiyun said after suggesting her idea when you and Jimin entered the living room.
"Yeah me too! It would really go with the theme of the room" Jimin agreed.
You sighed and rubbed your temples.
They were trying to change the couch.
Your couch.
Again.
This is about the fifth time they've tried to change your couch.
Apparently Jiyun saw an 'even better' couch in a shop on her way home the other day.
You didn't care for such things.
You liked the couch that you got when Jimin got you the apartment.
Jiyun already said that she would pay for the couch, but that wasn't the problem. They were changing your home and trying to make it like their old house.
But your apartment isn't their old house and it never will be.
"Can we just leave this for now, we can come back to it later" you sighed and stood up and walked to the bedroom to change into your work uniform.
"Yeah, we can talk about this some other time" Jimin answered as he watched your frustrated self get up and leave the room.
As you were changing into your work clothes, you heard a faint knock at the door and a small voice afterwards.
"Muffin? Can I come in?" He asked and you rolled your eyes.
It seems like you have no privacy anymore either.
"Yeah" you say tiredly and walked over to your dresser to
He entered cautiously, opening the door slowly and he was careful of where he was stepping.
"Is everything okay?" He asked quietly as you began to brush the knotty strands in your hair.
"Yeah" you said shortly, indicating to Jimin that everything clearly wasn't okay.
"Really? You seem a little...off" he said.
You tie your hair up out of your face as required as part of your work uniform.
"No, I'm fine"
You gather your things and head towards the door to leave for work, but just as you were about to leave you heard Jimin's faint voice call behind you, gaining your attention yet again.
You turn to find him leaning against the wall.
"Are you going to leave without saying goodbye?" He asked, a little more confidence clear in his tone.
You sigh and and turn around fully. You walk towards him and stand on your tippy toes to give him a peck on the cheek to keep him satisfied.
Just as you were about to kiss his cheek, he turns his head and you planted your lips on his. He wraps his arm around your waist and turns over so that you are now against the wall.
Your breathing has now escalated.
All the frustrated thoughts you were pondering about moments ago were now long gone.
The only thing left was the blurriness of Jimin's affection.
"Why are you mad?" He breathes against your neck.
"Your mother will see" you whisper back.
"She's in the bathroom. Now stop avoiding the question" he said with a dominant tone.
"I'm not mad" you breath as he makes his way down to your collar bone.
"You should know by now that you can't lie to me y/n" he gazed into your eyes and pressed his lips gently against yours.
"Jimin, I have to go to work" you said, trying not to shriek from the tingles he was giving you.
"Okay fine, I'll leave you go" he whispered. "but I will be waiting for you when you're home and I want you to tell me everything, and I mean everything" he said against the shell of your ear.
You gulped and nodded.
Jimin pecked your lips once more and released you from his caged embrace. You gave him a small smile and they scattered away from the man who makes you loose all your senses.

"So let me get this straight" Mark began. "They are living in your apartment with no expenses and now they want to change your furniture?" He asked, disbelief clearly expressed on his face.
You nodded. "Well yeah, but they've treated me so well since I have known them and plus Jimin did buy the apartment and he does basically live there anyways" you explain. "They don't know any better, that's how they used to live. I'm sure if I told them how I felt they would change their actions" you sigh.
"So tell them! Tell them how you're feeling" Mark expresses.
You shake your head "I'll just leave it, I'm probably over reacting anyways" You said weakly. "They are going through a hard time and they just probably don't know how to deal with it. They are just trying to take their minds of the problems they are having"
"You're probably right, but that doesn't mean they can change your life around" Mark replied while wiping down a table. "Is he visiting here again today?" He asked.
Just as you were about to answer, the man himself walked into the cafe.
"I guess so" you replied as Jimin walked over to the stools at the counter.
"Hello" he cheesed and leaned over the countertop to give you an affectionate greeting.
You pecked his lips gently and he returned back to his position on the stool.
"Hey Jimin" Mark greeted.
"Hey" he replied shortly.
Mark just nodded his head.
"Did you finish the science project, y/n?" Mark said, breaking the silence.
"The one on ecology?"
He nodded.
"Oh yeah, I did. It was super easy" you smiled.
"I thought the same and Ms. Kang was so nice to have given us so much time to complete it" Mark replied. "Honestly I would be surprised if someone failed that project" he chuckled and you joined in the laughter.
Jimin shifted uncomfortably in his seat.
He probably would've failed if he had to do that project, for the simple reason that he wouldn't know how to do it as he hasn't gone to school in several months.
You hadn't gone to school in almost a week as you were staying home with Jimin and his mother as they were going through a tough time. They were getting daily calls from the police, asking questions about Jimin's father.
But you were returning back to school tomorrow and Jimin could already feel the separation anxiety bubble inside of him.
"That's due tomorrow right?" You asked.
"Yeah" Mark replied, getting his belongings together. "Is it alright if I leave early, I want to go and surprise Sana for her birthday" he smiled at the mention of his new girlfriend.
"Yeah of course, go have fun and give her my birthday wishes!" You smile.
"Of course I will" he returned the smile. "I'll see you at school tomorrow y/n and I'll see you soon Jimin" he said, making his way towards the door.
"You'll see me at school too" Jimin replied before he left, taking both you and Mark by surprise.
"Oh, well then I'll see both of you tomorrow" he said before leaving with a small wave.
The door closed and now it was only you, Jimin and the small few customers around.
"So, you're coming back to school" you said, still a little bit of surprise in your voice.
"Yeah, I was thinking about it and I might as well. We are half way through the school year and if I want to graduate with you, I'm going to want to step up my game" he said.
You look at him with adoration for his well thought out plan.
"While you work here, I can come and study here and that means I will still be around you" he smiled.
"You really have this thought out" you said.
"Of course I do!" He beams. "We are going to graduate from high school together and then go to the same college, I don't mind which one. Then when we finish college we are going to move into a proper house after we get our jobs, then I will put a ring on your finger and we will have the dream wedding that you and your mother have always planned to have. We will have two kids, or more, and we will love them and raise them very well. We will see them grow up and we will grow old together"
You were taken aback by his long speech about what sort of life he wanted in the future and you were so emotional about the fact that everything he wanted to have included you.
You could feel the tears welling in your eyes.
And as much as it sounded like what every typical person wanted in life, you couldn't help but imagine how perfect and special your one would be.
"Do you picture me in your life?" Jimin asked.
You gathered your messy thoughts together and sighed.
He immediately began to panic at the look of doubt.
You grabbed his hand and placed a firm kiss to his knuckles.
"Now that I have you in my life and I know what it is like to love you, I wouldn't want anyone else" you admitted and he sighed in relief.
"I love you Muffin" he said with his infamous eye smile.
"I love you Asshat" you giggled.

You were walking home from work, hand in hand with Jimin and just as you were about to leave the park, Jimin pulls you in the direction of a nearby, secluded bench.
"But I'm tired~" You whined.
"I don't care, you are going to tell me what is wrong with you right here, right now, where there is no distractions" he commands, sitting you down beside him on the bench. "Now, what is wrong with you, and why were you annoyed and frustrated earlier?"
You made yourself comfortable, knowing that you weren't going to get out of this conversation no matter how much you tried.
"Now that I say it, it will sound stupid" you sigh, listening to the trees dance with the wind.
"I don't care, tell me" he demands.
"Okay" you begin. "Please believe me when I say I am so grateful for everything you have done for me and I'm really not trying to come across as ungrateful, but you have done enough now, in relation to buying me an apartment. I don't want new furniture or my apartment to have a make over. I love it the way it is, the way you gave it to me" you explain and as you were waiting for Jimin to process the information, you couldn't help but feel nervous.
That is until he began to chuckle.
And those chuckles turned into laughs.
"I told you it was stupid" you huffed and began to walk away, annoyed at his reaction.
"Woah, woah, woah" he said trying to get you to stop running away. He picked you up by the waist and twirled you around. "Don't be mad muffin, I just wasn't expecting what you said" he said and kissed your head.
"No of course you weren't expecting it" you rolled your eyes.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"I don't know Jimin! Maybe the fact that you are not expecting us to go hungry soon, or not have electricity soon"
"What are you talking about?"
"Jimin, I work a part-time job in a cafe. And as much as I am so very, very grateful that I don't have to pay rent as you have bought the apartment, I still have to pay electricity bills, food bills as well as others in the amount for three grown ups to live" You exclaim, walking further to live.
Jimin again runs after you, in hopes to get you to calm down. "I didn't know you were having money problems" his eyes turning sad.
"It's nothing for you to worry about" you sigh.
Jimin had a sudden rush of anger.
Towards himself.
How could he not put the puzzle pieces together.
When he looks at his now, he sees how you are the only one working between the three of of you and himself and his mother are at home lazing around.
He remembered the times where he begged you to call in sick when you were cuddling on the couch, just so that he could be with you.
And all those same times when you said no, otherwise there would be no money to live off of.
"And I'm not trying to get rid of your mother, believe me, I love her, she's so kind. But I just don't think I can go much longer trying to fend for three people when I can just about pay for two" you explain.
"You're absolutely right" Jimin answered. "How could I have been so oblivious, I didn't even realize how much work you do for me and for my mother. I haven't even thanked you for it because I've never realized it. I've taken your hard earned work for granted, and I'm so sorry" he said.
"I'm such a bad boyfriend" he murmured I hopes of you not hearing.
But you did.
You grabbed his shirt and pulled him close to you so you could kiss him.
You smashed your lips onto his.
"Shut up" you said.
"But-"
"No, I'm serious, shut the hell up" you hiss.
Jimin realized that they were no longer on the previous subject. He followed your gaze over to a tree a short distance away.
There was a hooded figure against the trunk of the tree.
"Who is that?" Jimin whispered.
"I don't know" you replied.
"All I do know is that he has been here since we sat down and he hasn't taken his eyes off of us"
