"What's wrong muffin?"

"You're leaving in three days"

Jimin just sighed, rubbed his eyes and wrapped his arms around you yet again, this time pulling you closer and turning so that you were facing him.

"I know" he said quietly as he kissed your forehead.

"Will things be different when you come back?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, we will be older, it's a long time apart. What if you don't remember me the same or I change or something?" You started to get a worried tone in your voice.

He hushed you once again "You're worrying too much" he said trying to calm you down and stroked your hair.

"No, no but what if-"

"Do you love me?" He interrupted.

"Is that even a question?, of course I do"

"Then you have to trust that we will be there for each other when I'm back, and you can't go eyeing anyone else" his protective nature showing clearly. You chuckled.

"I won't, I promise" he smiled and snuggled his nose behind your ear.

"Good" he said with a small smile.

You got up and dressed a little while later, leaving Jimin in bed to sleep a little bit more. You went for a shower and afterwards made some breakfast. As you were cooking, Jimin walked out of the bedroom, still in his yellow pajamas that had a yellow cartoon dog and chimmy written all over it.

Cute.

His hair was a mess and he was squinting one eye, still adjusting to the light of day.

"Morning" he said hazed. You chuckled at his sleepy state.

"Morning" you returned the greeting. You set down a plate of food. "Eat up" he smiled when he saw the food.

He sat down and immediately started eating with you following not far behind him.

Jimin was eager to go out and do some shopping. You weren't really sure why, but he was adamant that the both of you were going shopping. So you agreed.

You walked out of your apartment and went down to the car park hand in hand. You arrived upon the car.

"Morning Chelsea" he said as he got into the car.

"You really need to spend more time with your real friends" you stated making him laugh.

He drove into the city center and parked the car with much difficulty as it was so busy.

He took your hand and guided you through the streets that were packed with people. He led you into a phone shop. You tugged in the end of his sleeve to get his attention. He turned.

"No" you said.

"What?" He smiles cheekily.

"No"

He shrugged his shoulders.

"Jimin I'm serious, my phone is fine!"

He shakes his head.

"No~" you whine making him chuckle.

"Let me see it" he asked while holding out his hand.

You hesitantly give him your phone. He looks it over and as he is about to hand it back he drops it.

It falls to the ground and pieces fly in all directions.

"What the freaking hell Jimin!" You slap his arm. You go to the floor and pick all the pieces you could find up. You turn back to him and he is at the counter talking to the sales worker. You huff and march over to him.

When you get to the counter he turns and hands you a new phone. You've seen the advertisements for this phone and you know it's crazy expensive. Seems like Jimin saw that ad too.

"It guarantees variety!" He smiles. You give him back the phone, turn on the ball of your foot and leave the shop into the busy crowded streets. Jimin immediately follows after grabbing the phone.

You turned down a quiet street and start walking. Jimin catches up with you and grabs your arm.

"Why did you do that?" You ask him annoyed.

"Because you need a new phone, you can't use that thing" he said.

"But it was working fine!!" You complain.

"It was old, like ancient, muffin"

"It was vintage! and then you went and bought another one even when you know I hate when you buy me things"

"But I want to spoil you! I want you to have the best of everything" he whined. "Well you don't have a phone now so you have to take it"

"I could buy myself a new one when I work up the money-"

"Nope. You're taking this one. And if anyone asks you where you got it, you're gonna say your super duper handsome and incredibly funny boyfriend very kindly bought it for you" he said while forcing you to take the phone. He put it in your bag.

"This conversation isn't over" you spoke sternly.

He put his arm around your waist "Whatever you say muffin" and continued walking with you.

The both of you walked down quiet streets to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

You came across a lot of places, one in particular caught your eye. You walked over to it and saw a sign on the front door to say that it was closed for today.

"What is this place?" You ask, looking through the window.

"Funny you should ask, I actually come here a lot. It's a book shop with a cafe upstairs. I used to come here a lot but then when I saw you working in lava java, I stopped coming here and went there to see you" he smiled.

"Really?" He nodded "You're so cute! I didn't know you like to read!" He nodded again.

"I love to read, it's like a get away from reality or in my case Alex. I used to go here after school the whole time" he said as you continued walking.

You could really see how bad he wanted to rid Alex from his life.

"Okay,  you go and get us a seat somewhere in that restaurant. I'll be back in two minutes" he rushed away. You just shook your head and sniggered while waking inside and getting a seat in a quiet corner.

Jimin arrived a few minutes later with a small brown bag. He spotted you and smiled as he sat down.

"I'm back" he said, stating the obvious.

"I can see that" you chuckled. "Where were you?"

"I just got a present for my mom" he smiled and you nodded.

You both are and discussed some books that you both have read. Jimin also spoke a little about that place from earlier.

"There is also computers there for people who want to research or study and I have actually seen a few people write fan fictions there too" You nodded processing the information.

Jimin also told you some other books that he likes that you haven't read. You memorized all of them. Making sure that you would read them at some point.

"My most recommend one would be the book thief. I'm still surprised you haven't read it" you shrug and take a bite out of your meal. "It's a classic"

"I know, I've heard great reviews on it I've just never stumbled across it" You truthfully say.

You continue chatting and discussing various different topics until Jimin gets an idea in his head.

"I've never taken you out on a date" he said, shocked at his own words.

"Yes you have! We went to two parties together, one being formal and the other being a house party, we have had lunch, dinner and breakfast every day this week, we are currently sitting together-" Jimin waves his hand, signaling to to stop.

"But I don't consider them dates I consider them I'm with you, so we eat" he states.

"Isn't that a date though? You go out together and eat?" Jimin vigorously shakes his head no.

"No, no, no that's not it. A date has chemistry, it's exciting, it determines if someone thinks they are suitable for you"

"But I already know you're suitable for me and also I'm low key hurt that you don't think we have chemistry right now" you laugh.

Jimin sighs "you're not getting the point. I know we have chemistry, we do right now, but it's a different kind of chemistry, it's dating chemistry"

"Ahhh I see" you say sarcastically.

"Okay you know what, you'll get it when we go on our date tonight" he smiles.

"I ain't going on no date, no one asked" you say and Jimin doesn't get the point.

"What do you mean? I just asked-"

"Let me rephrase" you cut him off "no one asked me properly" Jimin then understands and nods.

He gets off his chair opposite yours and walks over to beside where you were sitting and sits on the chair beside you and takes your hand.

"Muffin?"

"Hmm?"

"Would you do me the honor, and allow me to take you on a date, spoil you rotten and make you very happy?" He smiles you take a minute to think it over.

"Hmmm... no"

Jimin does a double take.

"N-no?"

"In order for me to accept your offer, I need to change the terms and conditions" you said smugly.

"Go on"

"You aren't paying for the meal, I am, I'm also picking the place, and you have to wear your most inexpensive clothes. Deal?"

"You never cease to amaze me Muffin, deal" he says happily.

Later on Jimin drops you at the apartment and he goes home to look for the cheapest clothes he owns. He really reminds you of Taehyung. It's all Gucci.

You go inside your apartment and get ready. After, you took your new phone out of your bag and tried to set it up. As you were attempting to do this, Jimin walks into the apartment.

You turn your head and see him in blue denim jeans and a plain black jumper.

"Is this alright?" He asks unsure to which you nod. He walks over and sits beside you. "Whatcha doing?"

"Setting up this phone, and I think I'm done. Will you put in your number?" You ask. He nods and inputs his number.

"I also put in the rest of the gangs numbers" he said while handing back your phone.

"Oh thanks"

You leave the apartment building and start walking down the street.

"So we aren't driving?"

"Nope. We need some fresh air" you breath in dramatically only making you start coughing. Jimin taps your back, trying to stop you fit.

"Thank you" you say when you get a normal breathing rate back.

"So where are we going?" He asks, still curious.

You stop and gesture to the building beside you.

"Crazy noodles?" He says unimpressed.

"Hey don't be like that! This place does the best ramen ever!"

"Oh yeah sure it does" you roll your eyes, take his hand and drag him into the grey building. It has a mainly red colour tone on the inside. You go over and order what you always get and turn to Jimin to ask what he wants.

"I don't know. What's good here?" He asks.

"I'll order for you" he nods and goes over to the left of the small building we're the high stools were.

You then joined him.

"I got you the same as me because it's my favorite" you smile.

"I like this place" he states looking around at the room. It was quite a small building. It was on the corner of a street. "It's the perfect hangout space" he smiled.

"I know! It's so ideal" you said happily.

The worker brought the ramen and you immediately started eating, excited to try the food that you used to love as it was nice and affordable for you.

Jimin took a bite and his eyes immediately went wide.

"This is so good"

"I told you" You laughed.

You spent the rest of the evening discussing controversial topics and agreeing on a few thing but also disagreeing on some, you accepted and cherished each other's thoughts even if you didn't agree with them. Jimin even ordered more ramen. You smiled as you saw him enjoy them.

It was eventually dark outside and you and Jimin were stuffed but you liked the atmosphere of the ramen shop.

Every time he put his hand on your knee or the side of your face, you felt butterflies. You always get this feeling when he does these things but this time you noticed it so much more. It was a good thing.

You knew you had to leave at some stage, and unfortunately that time came to fast in your opinion.

You tipped the woman at the counter and started walking out onto the street light lit road of an Autumns night.

As you were walking around the streets, Jimin had another idea of going to the park. You didn't really have a say, he just dragged you.

You walked in the gateway of the park and followed the pathway to the stream at the end of it. You stopped when the river was in front of the both of you.

"Thanks for paying Muffin" he says and sweetly kisses your temple.

"No problem, I really liked paying for once" he chuckled.

"So can I ask a question?"

"Yeah, go ahead"

"Do you get what I mean by dating chemistry?" He asked smiling against the side of your head.
