Now, I know this is a little unusual than the rest of the Fam chapters, but fat shaming is a huge thing.
People don't know the difference between a perfectly healthy body and a overweight body.
Now, I'm not saying skinny people are unhealthy. Just that most models are way too skinny and that these models for instance, have mostly no chance on modeling.
Some sunny people (like my friend in Instanbul) tries to be a little chubbier because she is a little too underweight. But that's not the problem here. The problem is, that society thinks that only these skinny women can be accepted and can model. The thing is, if you eat healthy and you feel good in your body, that's great! That's awesome. Because society shouldn't let you down. Let society think what it wants to think. Be unique. Because the confidence in women make them attractive.
Because some overweight people
1) Complain about themselves.
2) Complain about them getting discriminated.
3) Eat more unhealthy stuff
4) But don't take a step on improving themselves.
It's like trying to write or draw, but they have no talent. They bicker about people correcting or ranting or constructive critisizing them but do the same mistakes over and over again and don't even try to improve on themselves.
Just don't bicker about your overweight (if you really are!) then don't be a couch potato about it. It won't bring you anywhere.
Because different types of bodies consumer their fat in different types of parts of the body too. Some store their fat in their thighs, their hips, their belly, their breasts, their upper arms.
Ant these aspects might make them look fat or not fat depending on the type above.
Neither do men.
The 'ideal' man in society is pictured as muscular, petite but tall, has abs, has a jawline, looks tough.
No sex should be a slave of the opposite gender. They should be independent on their own.
If you want your body to be like you picture it in your head, go ahead. No one is stopping you.
But remember; don't bicker about it for 1) attention and 2) not doing anything about it.
