"HUMAN! SANS! I'M HOME!"

"It's just me, Paps." You mumbled out to him as you turn on the news while scanning through channels.

And now for the lasest news.

As you saw the thumbnail for the story, you paused the live broadcast. Technology can be so useful sometimes.

"Paps!" You called to him while waving to the direction of the TV. "Come look at this." When Papyrus was behind the couch, you pressed play.

This morning, a local public park bathroom has been trashed by a pile of oversized bones, sending catastrophe everywhere. Witnesses say the suspect was a 6' tall skeleton wearing a white top and blue shorts with red gloves and boots. If you have any idea where his whereabouts are, please contact police immediately. And now, for the weather.

You feel like the news casters need to work on their grammar.

You look up at Papyrus to see him mad dogging the television, one of his eyes glowing bright orange and sweat rolling down his forehead. "Paps..?" You call out to him out of concern.

Papyrus's pov

They know

I was trying to keep myself calm the best I could, even though I knew I was failing.

They know. (Y/n) knows. What to do, what to do...?! Ugh..I need to find some way to have time to think...

"Papyrus? You alright?" The human said, waving a hand infront of my face to get my attention. "OH, I MUST'VE FORGOTTEN! DINNER! WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO MAKE ANYTHING WITH! WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE A QUICK RUN TO THE GROCERY STORE, HUMAN?"

(Y/n) smiled. "Of course Paps. No problem." They got up and went to get their wallet then headed out the door. As soon as they closed the door, I fell down hard on the couch. I sighed. Hopefully that'll buy me enough time to think. At least they haven't shared their information with anyone...

Your pov

You were going down the pasta isle when you accidentally bumped into somebody. "Oh, I'm so sorry..wait, Toriel?"

Toriel turned to meet you with a kind smile. "Why hello, my child! How are things?"

"Things are good." You said, smirking. Suddenly you remember something. "Oh! Have you been watching the news lately?" You ask as you pull out your phone and open it up. "Honey, I don't have cable." Toriel said.

"Oh, well there's this story that's been rising in popularity where a 6' man trashed a public park bathroom with giant bones." As you explain, you open your picture and show it to Toriel. "Does he look familiar to y-" You were interupted by someone using the speakers.

Thank you to whoever took a shit in isle 6!

As you had no doubt that person would get fired, you look back at Toriel.

You sighed. "Does he look familiar?" You asked. Toriel squinted at the blurry close-up of Papyrus. "Hmm...well, maybe. I'm sorry, I didn't bring my glasses with me." Toriel said.

"That's fine" You said as you put the phone away. "I have a feeling on who it might be, but it might sound crazy."

"Oh? Who do you think it is?"

You were about to tell her it's Papyrus and back up your theory, but you hesitated. Sure, Paps gets a little overprotective at times, but that doesn't mean he would trash a public restroom, right? I mean, come on, you knew him for most of your life. He's practically harmless. So, instead of telling her who you think it is, you pretended to think then slightly stomped your foot on the ground and said, "Crap...I forgot it."

Toriel chuckled and said, "Don't worry, child, we all have those days at some point." You both laughed it off, said goodbye, then continued with your lives.

As the day went on, however, you start to wonder if you should've told her anyways.

What's up, my dudes?

So so SO sorry for not updating recently.

It's been a mix of no wifi/data and no time.

You'd think I have more time to work cuz it's summer, huh?

You're spoiled, aint ya?

Times with my mom are out in the middle of nowhere with no wifi

Times with my dad will be vacationing with no wifi

And my phone bill hasn't been paid in months [thankz mum]

And somehow amungst all of that I somehow lost whatever sanity I had left to enter myself into Wattys 2017

Just finished reading the rules and requirements!

I never thought I'd say these words ever, but I think I might have an opportunity to win.

Which is weird, because I usually don't win much unless I've done it before and/or I know lots about it.

Please keep in mind, I am a natural blonde.
