You hit the power button on your phone to put it to sleep. You then put it in your back pocket and started to walk out the door towards their home. You had to admit, you were very excited to watch Anime with people for once and not be a lonely potato. But still, you wondered what could have made him want to hang out with you again so quickly..?

Mettaton's pov.

I was sitting in my room writing in one of my diaries when Alphys and Undyne busted into my room, making me jump and quickly threw my diary in my closet.

I sighed. "Haven't you heard of knocking?"

"S-s-sorry! We're just ex-excited!" Stuttered Alphys.

"Dude, invite (Y/N) over." Said Undyne.

I looked at them in confusion. "Why...?"

"S-so we c-can watch A-A-Anime!" Alphys said as Undyne tried to hold back a laugh.

"Well, (Y/N) does like to watch Anime..." I mumbled, eyeing them suspiciously.

"Exactly! So invite them over!"

"Why are you so persistent?"

"B-b-because Anime!"

"Honestly, I can see right through you."

"Fine, it's a double date."

I froze. "Erm...a what now?"

"Yeah, dude! You and (Y/N) look cute together."

"Are you going to ignore the fact I'm with Papyrus?"

"Well have you considered (Y/N) might've liked you way before that? Like you said, you're famous. It might've been a celebrity crush at first."

At this point, I'm flabbergasted to the point of speechless. I just looked down and fidgeted my feet.

"Haha, speechless?"

"N-no! I'm just...inspecting my shoes."

I shot a look at Alphys, letting her know she was right.

"Look, metal brains, all we're trying to do is give her some help."
