Jaden's POV

Me and Anthony knocked on the door. We heard gasps and screams. I rolled my eyes. "See. Coming late only makes them scared!" I scolded Anthony. He laughed. I sung a tune and the door flew open. 

"Name yourself imposers!" Fiona yelled. I looked at Anthony and he nodded. "You still wear teddy bear underwear." I said. Fiona blushed bright red and ran upstairs. Anthony laughed so hard that he fell. 

"She did?" A boy asked. I looked over and saw a teenage boy holding Emma's hand. "Aww Emma. Did you finally get a boyfriend?" I said. The boy quickly let go of Emma's hand and blushed like Fiona. 

Ms. Peregrine walked up to us. "That is quite enough Jaden. You and Anthony go upstairs now." She said sternly. I rolled my eyes and nodded. Anthony raced upstairs and I followed him. The next day, I walked downstairs. 

I heard the pot steaming so I assumed Ms.Peregrine was up. I glanced down and saw a man with white hair and sharp teeth. "Dr.Barron." I said. "Oh Jaden! I see you're up! Can you get me 2 sugar lumps please." He said. 

"Why of course Dr.Barron." I said as I slowly made my way downstairs. I opened the cabinet and gave him the pot full of sugar. "Why thank you my dear. Can you please tell Ms.Peregrine that I am waiting?" He then asked. I nodded and made my way upstairs. 

I went up and saw all the children rushing to get themselves packed up. "Jaden! Who's downstairs?" Anthony said quickly. "Where's Ms.Peregrine?" I asked. Emma pointed down the hall. I sang a tune and the door flew open. 

I manage to walk over all the mess. "Ms.Peregrine? Dr.Barron is downstairs." I said. She froze. "You talked to him?" She said angrily. "He threatened to put me in a cage." I said. She brushed off her clothes. 

"JADEN!!" He yelled. "Jaden. Go pack up. I'll deal with him." Ms. P said as she quickly jogged down stairs. Raven ran up to me. "Heh. So much for being a bad girl." She said. "I don't want my eyeballs eaten like Victor's." I snapped back. Raven stood there speechless. 

Jake was helping Emma and getting her clothes. He even held her hand a few times. "See your boyfriend is still here." I said. The boy blushed. "Jaden. Stop teasing him." Emma scolded me. "What? He was holding your hand." I said as I shrugged. 

"Jake. Meet Jaden. Jaden. Meet Jake." Emma said. I winked at him. Jake blushed even more. Anthony ran into the room and went through Emma's stuff. "Anthony! Get out!" Emma yelled. I sang a tune and Anthony floated out of the room. Jake was astonished. 

I heard a crash in Claire's room. "Be right back." I said as I ran down the hallway. "What's her power?" I heard Jake ask Emma. "She can control and make objects do things when she sings. Anthony can too." She told him. 

I heard bird noises downstairs. The kids followed behind me as we looked down. Dr.Baron was trying to force Ms. P into a cage. I sang a tune and a table flew across the room and into Baron's face. 

He growled and threw it off. Raven transformed into a bird and distracted Baron. Anthony sang and had the bird cage open. It was quickly slammed shut. Olive came down and set the kitchen on fire. 

Me and Anthony ran down and sang a duet. Objects came from all over the house and smacked Baron in the face. Baron threw a painting and it hit Raven. She flew across the room. He then threw a table and it hit me and Anthony. 

Anthony hit his head on the floor. Jake managed to catch me. I smiled. Baron shoved Ms. P into a cage and walked out through the back. "I always travel with a buddy." Was Baron's last words before he disappeared. A crash was then heard at the front door and a squealing noise as well. 

"Looks like his buddy just arrived."
