"If it was that simple I would do it, but it isn't,"

   "What is not simple about it?" Karina asked.

   "The fact that if he ever finds out about it, he'll be pissed I didn't tell him. Plus, if I tell him this, he'll start prying about more things and we both know how many secrets I have that he probably should know," Felix said.

    "Babe, maybe that is a sign that he should be let in regarding these secrets,"

    Felix sighed, "If I tell him he is going to be upset and that is going to be a thing that people will pick up on, especially since we both are very much in the public eye,"

  "Felix, I can't agree with you on this. I can't be here and agree with you, that you shouldn't tell him; because in all honesty, he should very much so know," Karina said.

   "I don't know why we are talking about this now of all times. We have to be at the venue in like an hour, plus this happened five years ago," he said.

     "Felix, his ex-girlfriend came to your hospital room while you were recovering from surgery to threaten you. She told you if she ever saw you with Hyunjin or with Viola she would air out everything regarding you and your past.
 
   We are talking about this because: first, Hyunjin needs to know and second, you are about to be in a very public forum with him,"

    "What happens with me personally isn't Hyunjin's problem. If someone tries to sue me or something else that is when he is involved. What happened between Julianna and I is for me to deal with,"

   "Actually no, it is not for you to deal with, because if she goes to a paper any paper and says: 'Felix Lee's uncle is in prison for murder or Felix Lee was involved in a car accident resulting in his sister being placed in a hospital for four years'.

It becomes a legal problem, then this little house of secrets that you want to keep from Hyunjin is going to blow up bigger and much worse. You need to tell him,"

   Felix pursed his lips.

   She was right, this would become a bigger issue if Julianna were to do that.  He should tell Hyunjin, he really should.

   He was just too stubborn to do so though.

  He was too stubborn to let Hyunjin help him.

   "We're not being photographed together, so it'll be fine," Felix stated, standing up and leaving the room.

    Karina closed her eyes and sighed.

    "Of course, he is being stubborn," she muttered.

    The event was medium-sized. It started with the press asking question regarding whatever the wanted and went on to just being a book signing.

   And of course, Karina was running interference. Making sure everything was perfect and nothing would go wrong.

  "Hyunjin, I need to talk to you," Karina said.

   "Uhm, okay, Vi, stay with Juni," Hyunjin to the eleven year old.

   Viola nodded and went with Juni.

  "What's up?"

    "You can't be seen with Felix nor can Viola,"

  Hyunjin's brows drew together, "I understand Viola not being seen with Felix, but why can't I?'"

   "Look, you and Felix are well-known and while yes, you are here to be his lawyer, people will not see it that way. They'll see it as something much bigger and that can be an issue given the past history. I've already talked to Felix about this and he understands," Karina said.

   "I don't though. The press knows he has has a lawyer traveling with him, so it would make sense to why I am here, as I am a lawyer," Hyunjin stated.

   Karina sighed, "Just please, don't get photographed anywhere near him, because it has the potential of being a disaster and not in the PR stance but in a whole different type of way,"

  "In what type of way will it be a disaster?"

    "That isn't something I can tell you, just please promise me that you won't be seen with Felix," there was a layer of desperation in Karina's word that just made Hyunjin give in.

   "Yeah, I promise," he said.

   "Thank you," she said, letting out a small breath of relief.

   Hyunjin pressed his lips together as he was left outside by himself.

   It bothered him. It bothered him, because it seemed like there was a lot more than just press behind why he couldn't be seen with Felix.

  But he didn't know what it was, so what could he do besides listen to what Karina told him?
