After one Day ~
Mom was packing lunch for father, who was hospitalized for the last two days. The doctor stated him to be bedridden for a few more weeks.
Jongi was at school and I was in the drawing-room doing the dusting. Hesitating to destroy the inhabitation of dirt that covered the glass of the center table. I wondered why I'm growing into a psychic person?
I stared at my mother's downfallen visage, as her hands worked mechanically. Not losing the battle against any second, fighting with determination for her family.
After battling with my mind I uttered, "Mom, can I ask you something?"
"Hmmmn,"
"Let's assume there are these three people aah... J, D and and and V is okay. Now D loves V very much, and J is a friend of D who cares for her alot....and I think he loves D as well. Now J degrades V as a bad person like every time. And now D is in a dilemma. Shall she listen to her best friend's advice or stop doubting her lover?
A doorbell shook me back to reality. "Dasom, see someone's at the door? your story is pretty confusing, I'll listen to it afterward and provide you with the best answer." She said, her eyes were still on the items she was being in the lunch box.
I opened the main gate, realizing the person who owns this kind of taste as I took a gander at his black cobra printed shoes first and then after his face.
"V," I breathed out and stiffened.
"Why are you here?" I knitted my brows, my heartbeat skipped a beat as I glared at his catlike moves.
He closed the gate behind and breathed out, shrugging his shoulders and sending a wave of his masculine deodorant to freshen me up once again.
"What's that shabby cloth on your head?" He pointed his index finger, outshining the silver metallic ring that augmented the worth of his finger.
"Eh, hey answer me first," I said, faking confidence after realizing that I was dealing with the dusting of the showpieces and the miniature of lilliputians.
"Leave it and tell me how do I look?" He swept his tongue over his lower lip, hands clutched together in anticipation.
"V you look amazingly hot, now go back."
He pushed me to the side and walked up to the little garden. "Wow, so you like azalea flowers, huh?" He admired the maintenance of the neat garden.
"V, my mom is inside and I don't know how she would react, please go away---" I grabbed his arm and tried to pull him to the main gate but sadly he didn't budge an inch.
"Babygirl I've got a vast, green, fresh, natural surprise for you, any guesses?" His eyes were smiling, a feeling of excitement stirred in his big almond brown eyes.
"V, you could've texted me that, but please leave---" I clenched my teeth and dug my fingers into his arm.
"Let's meet your mother then." He jerked his head up, sealing the confirmation after the aggressive session of yeses and noes.
The surroundings froze as he gave me a casual look and I rotated my eyeballs clockwise, comprehending his words.
"No no no--"
"Yes yes yes yes," He giggled before tapping the same finger under my chin.
He strode through the open door and there I saw his figure merging inside like a shadow.
"This can't be happening." I followed the disappeared man's shadow.

"Where's she? Dasom." He shouted out loud, eyes peeled out for my mother's presence.
"Please talk slowly and--"
He flopped down on the sofa, sitting cross-legged. He was behaving as if he knows my family for a very long time. "Dasom, you won't offer anything to your guest?" He said, gearing up the character of a rich and handsome gentleman.
He was playing with me, quite evident from the heavenly aristocratic tone highlighted in his voice.
So I thought of reciprocating it, don't really like to owe things needlessly.
"Guest? I suppose you were my boyfriend a while ago." I crossed my arms, smiling notoriously.
"Anyways V, now that you are satisfied..... PLEASE LEAVE!"
"Dasom, why are you shouting and who are you asking to leave?" It took her more than a minute to gulp down the fact that someone as handsome as he can ever pay a visit at our dingy cell.
"Are you sure that you entered the right house?" She asked him, approaching from behind. V instantly stood on his feet and bowed down with respect.
"You must be Dasom's mother right, you might be thinking who this jerk is? Well, we have met each other at the principal's office. I'm Dasom's math professor, V." He began with his speech and was not willing to stop it until I decided to jump in the puddle of his yakking.
"Mom, he brought that basket of fruits and a get well soon card for father that day when you were out," I replied cooly, bouncing on my toes.
V said to himself mentally. "And an expensive bouquet of white scented roses a couple of days ago!"
"Oh, oh please have a seat," she said humbly.
"I like your house, never knew it could give such a homely feeling to a stranger like me," he coughed and very soon got back on the track."Mrs. Kim, did she ever talk about us?"
My mother recalled the kitchen room conversation and understood the sense of the delicate topic comfortably.
"Yes, she does." She replied, letting out a small smile after realizing that I was talking about him.
"Huff...I like her a lot, just can't see her broken into pieces after everything that has faced in her life she deserves a breather, So I just wanted to take her out for change."
"Basically I've come here to seek your permission in order to take her along with me to attend a dance party in the woods. It will be a stay for four days and there will be other colleagues of mine, including females." He said everything in one breath.
"In the woods?" She repeated the words in a closed tone. "Well see I would've suggested you take her father's grant first but since he's not here. I'd want to ask the accompanier
herself. What's your call?"
I nodded in a shy manner. My cheeks looked like tomatoes and eyelashes flung down in sweet memory of the present moments.
"Okay, so I will see at eight." He said cheerfully before biding the last farewell to my mother.
"Mom, can I show him my room?" I was shaking my shoulders like a five-year-old kid. She gave a green signal.
***
I dragged him to my room and I wondered his interest and enthusiasm was losing its tempo by every passing moment.
"V, look I made this silly drawing of us. You are helping me solve a math equation and I'm shamelessly staring at you." I burst into laughter.
"Do you run after beauty or love?" He asked me, holding the paper in his hands.
"What do you mean?"
"In what cadre do I fall under?" He asked me, without fluttering his eyes.
I held his face in my hands. "LOVE is incomplete without V," and placed a peck on his dour lips.
"And so is Villain." He thought to himself.
