*Pari Pov*

At present, I am sitting on my bed fuming with all the strength I have. I just want to hit someone totally.

As for Akash, he is sitting in front of me looking at me confused. Can I hit him for once?

What actually happened before is that when this person in front of me said that he wants to get married as soon as possible, then my dad immediately said 'Ok' and called pundit.

Can you believe it? He didn't even ask me at all.

After that call, he informed us that pundit will tell the good dates in the evening and left to go to the office.

Akash too left to inform his family.

I cooled down a little because I thought maybe they would decide a date which will be a few months from now.

But no! I got the news that there is a good date in one week, and another one after six months.

I immediately said that after six months was best for me to my dad. Nevertheless, he said that he already talked to Akash, and he agreed to a date which is in one week.

And also that they already started preparations for the marriage, so I need to get along with it.

Do they consider that it is so simple?

So after that, I went into my room and just sat there. I didn't even have my dinner. I just sat there silently not talking to anyone.

So my parents called him and told him all about this.

After some time, he already entered my bedroom. I didn't lock it thinking they will get more worried.

Immediately after seeing him, I fumed, and he just sat in front of me looking at me, confused as I said earlier.

"Don't you love me?" he asked me after some time.

"Of course I do." I replied.

"Then what is your problem in this marriage?" He asked.

"I don't have a problem with the marriage thing. I have the problem with the little time." I replied.

"Don't worry all the preparations will be done on time." He said not understanding properly.

"Urghhh! My problem is that I am just 23yrs old. Why should I get married now itself?" I asked him.

"Because we love each other." He replied like it is obvious.

"I know that, but marriage is like so many big steps. I thought I would get some more time until our marriage date. But thanks to you and my dad, I will not." I said.

"Why do you need time for?" He asked.

"To think about everything. What should I do after marriage? Should I continue working or not? What if I behave a bit immaturely, and it affects us? You know I want to prepare myself for this new life and now with all these preparations I can't." I explained everything that I am feeling.

He looked at me for a few minutes without saying anything after hearing my outburst.

Did I react too much? Nonetheless, what can I do, I am just terrified ok.

"I can understand." He said much to my surprise and got up from his chair and walked towards me.

He sat beside me, hugged me, and said, "I am also having a huge battle in my head. But, I don't want to really wait anymore because I want you to be mine."

"I am yours like you are mine." I said smiling.

He smiled, nodding, and continued saying, "You can work after our marriage. If you want, you can take over your dad's business too when he wants to give it to you. I have no problem if you don't want to be a housewife. The business world needs a person like you for those great ideas you can give and your talent."

I was about to protest his praising, but he cut me off and said, "You can never act immaturely, and even if you do we will be fine. And after getting married you can think of everything again, and I will also give as much space as you want ok."

"Last but not least I am going to be 26yrs old in a few months. So it is a correct time for me." He said.

"I was so going to accept completely for this until you said that last line. So let's wait until I will be 26." I said in a serious tone, but I am actually teasing him.

"But then I will be 29." He said shocked.

"It's ok, you will be under 30 right. You are an old man now itself so what will be the difference after three years." I said controlling my laughs.

His face was hilarious. I couldn't help myself but burst out laughing.

He then understood and narrowed his eyes and said, "So Ms.Pari, this is all to tease me right."

"Whatever you say, Mr.Stone. Actually, you should be named Mr.Old. Perfect name, isn't it?" I asked him.

"I will show you how old I am." He said and I immediately stood up and started running away from him.

He followed me, but I just tried to escape from him in my room jumping from one end to another.

Finally, he got me and held me tightly, and said, "So, you will marry me right or will you run away on our wedding day."

"Hmm... Let me think." I said, giving him a thinking expression.

"Maybe this will help you." He said crushing his lips on mine.

We both started kissing, but when we heard clearing throats, we immediately separated from each other.

"So, this is what you want to talk to her so that she will accept for this immediate marriage right?" Simran started teasing me.

We saw my parents and his family standing at my room door.

My dad just looked straight at us with a hard expression. Is he angry with us?

"Dad..." I started to say, but he cut me off.

And said, "Akash, from today onwards you will not come here to my house and meet Pari...."

I immediately stopped him and said, "Dad, please don't say that."

He gave me a stern look and said, "Until your marriage day."

Then we both released a breath of relief, and my dad laughed along with the remaining.

"But I am serious, Akash." Dad said after some time.

"Then what about the rituals? He can meet me then right?" I asked him.

"Actually no. In fact, we are not going to tell anyone other than our close relatives that you both are getting married to each other." Dad said.

"And why is that?" I asked him.

"Media have its eyes always on both our families and due to recent events, it increased more."

I nodded understanding and he continued saying, "So if they know about this completely, then we can't control all the media at a time."

"So what is the plan?" I asked them.

"They will get information that both of you are getting married but not with each other then the media will get separated at both places, and it will be controlled easily." He replied.

"So there will be no contact between our families at all for this whole week." I said.

He nodded and said, "You can tell your friends if you want."

I nodded, and they all left except Akash.

"Are you going to tell them?" He asked.

"No, I will surprise them after one week showing you." I said.

"Ok, I am going back to Mumbai tomorrow. I will see the work we missed then will return before the rituals begin." He said.

"I will also come with you. I wish to invite my friends personally."

He nodded and bid his 'Bye' and left.

The next day we both reached Mumbai and went on our separate ways.

I reached my workplace a minute late. When I entered our floor, everyone saw me surprised.

"Good morning!" I said to everyone.

They greeted me and after that, Rani asked, "So did you reject Mr.X?"

"Actually..." I said, scratching my forehead.

I immediately heard a scream "Oh my God! You are engaged!" from Sakshi.

Everyone looked at her confused, and I am also doing the same thing because how does she know.

Then everyone turned towards me, and immediately their eyes went wide. I looked at them confused, then, I felt my ring touching my forehead.

"Uhmm... Yeah! It kind of just happened." I said.

"But you like Mr.Stone right then?" Rashi asked frowning.

"It is her choice guys. Hey Pari, tell us the name of this Mr.X." Imran asked.

Now I had to compulsorily tell them the truth.

But I got saved when someone shouted from behind me saying, "Ms.Pari, go and do your work. Do you always just waste your time talking with others?"

Mr.Stone, you saved me, but you just overreacted.

Yeah! I told him already my plan not to tell my friends about us, so he is acting his bit.

"Sorry, Mr.Stone." I said, sitting at my desk.

They all looked at us shocked and continued doing their work.

I didn't answer the office phone when he is the one calling me.

Then he called my mobile. I lifted it and said, "Hello, Jaan!"

"Jaan? Seriously Pari." He asked.

"I miss you too." I said.

"Me too. Anyway, are you angry that I shouted at you?"

"Yes!" I replied.

"I know. I overdid it. So why don't you come inside and meet me." He said.

"I too want to meet you, but what can I do. My boss is so arrogant and rude. He will shout at me." I said.

"So you will not meet me until you forget that." He said understandingly.

"Bye, Jaan." I said, hanging up.

During the lunch break, they all asked different questions I didn't answer many of them.

They took my ring to see it and praised it so much. Then I saw an office boy bringing a flower bouquet and an ice cream pack near me.

"Who send it?" I asked.

"Someone named 'Jaan'." He replied.

I smiled and took it.

"Had he already fallen for you? How sweet of him? You are right not to select Mr.Stone he would have never done this." Sakshi said.

I so wanted to laugh aloud because Mr.Stone can do many sweet gestures. But I controlled.

After lunch, I went near my table holding my ring. A few minutes later, I went inside his cabin.

"So am I forgiven?" He asked.

"Yep!" I said, smiling.

"Here put this." I said, giving him my ring.

He placed it on my finger, smiling. We talked for some time, and I left his cabin.

In the evening, I invited all my friends to my marriage. However, I am sad that they will not attend the rituals.

Then Mr.Stone entered the hall and said, "Listen everyone. For one week, there is no office for anyone on this floor as a bonus for your hard work."

I was looking at him wide-eyed. He immediately started to go, but I stopped him and said, "Mr.Stone, I want to invite you to my marriage. Will you attend?"

He looked at me raising a brow and said, "Why would I?" arrogantly and went inside.

I shook my head and turned to my still shocked friends.

"Guys, now you all can even attend all the functions." I said.

"You all will come right!" I asked.

"Of course!" they replied together.

I smiled and left the office.

When I reached home, I packed my clothes and started waiting for him.

After some time he reached and we both started traveling to Kolkata.

We want to spend this time together alone because we can't see each other or even talk for nearly five days so..
